For those who didn't see, here is the video of the prophecy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=092K9J1g7qs |
A prophet is without honour in his hometown... The same thing happened when TB Joshua went to Tanzania last November. NB - John Magufuli, Tanzania's new pace-setting President whom the whole world is hailing for his anti-corruption stance, is a staunch member of TB Joshua's church... |
Ghana has gone practically crazy because of a prophecy by TB Joshua. See their newspapers this morning:
|
I'm confused - we are not talking about money-hungry pastors with clear business interests like Bishop Oyedepo, Ayor Oritsejafor or Pastor Oyakhilome. This is TB Joshua. He is the LAST man of God in the world I would expect to have secret business interests abroad. Has anyone here commenting ever watched his programs or visited his church? By all indications, Nicholas Ibekwe used the Panama leak to lie against TB Joshua because of personal misgivings. |
Another indicting article with PROOF Nigeria bartered with the bodies of The Synagogue victims... - http://mg.co.za/article/2014-11-28-mg-dismisses-governments-denial-on-nigerian-bartering It goes back to Oritsejafor's jet used to bring in over 9 million dollars to South Africa illegally. I repeat - there is more to this case then what we read on the papers. |
idupaul:You accuse my brain of imprisonment - please provide valid reasons, not baseless insults. Question - why is no one talking about the fact that the Nigerian government actually BARTERED the bodies of The Synagogue victims in exchange for military arms with South Africa? And you think there are no shady developments behind the scenes in this case... It was reported in one of South Africa's most reputable newspapers - http://mg.co.za/article/2014-11-27-did-radebe-barter-arms-for-bodies |
rusher14:Sir, just watch the video and scientifically explain to me how this building collapsed due to structural issues. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMTvgIKaOBI Let's call a spade a spade. I don't know whether it was a bomb, an 'infrasonic weapon', some form of external sabotage - but this building fell on its footprint in a manner that has ONLY been witnessed in cases of controlled demolition... Even the last building that collapsed here in Lagos - some parts of the structure were still intact... There is more to this case than what meets the ordinary eye... |
Just for those doubting TBJ actually said this, you can watch it on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjrAXxXxaso?t=11m |
The United States said on Monday it will press Nigeria in talks this week to adopt a more flexible foreign exchange rate to boost growth and investment in Africa’s largest economy.SOURCE: http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-nigeria-currency-idUSKCN0WU1M4 My comment - I am not surprised. This is EXACTLY what TB Joshua said in his 2016 prophecy: "The president will do everything to reject revaluation of the naira - which is a good idea from a good leader. But there will be overwhelming pressure which he will not be able to resist. Nigerians, support and pray for your leader. The future is crying for help."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJmbJp0JPr8 On 8th March 2016, a five-storey building in Lekki, Lagos collapsed, causing the deaths of at least 10 people. Almost immediately, structural failure was blamed as the cause of the collapse. The building fell to the side and even some parts of it remained intact following the collapse. However, when a building collapsed at The SCOAN in September 2014, if fell on its own footprint without tilting to the left or right and no single part of the structure remained intact. |
texazzpete:Bro, you can insult all you want but the facts remain the same. Take a look at the video and see for yourself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMTvgIKaOBI |
timothy2396:Very true. Apart from that, look at the pictures of the two incidents. In this one, you can still see part of the structure standing - whereas at The SCOAN, everything was pancaked just like a controlled demolition. |
Look at the way parts of the structure are still standing... and people still say what happened at TB Joshua's church was a structural issue? |
RIP to the dead. Just a reflection since the subject matter is on ground - compare this collapse to Synagogue's last year. You can still see part of this structure standing, whereas in SCOAN's case, everything was levelled to the ground like a pancake in a matter of seconds. That's why I still stand by my resolve - what happened at The SCOAN was sabotage in the form of demolition, NOT structural issues.

Emmanuel TV - Changing Lives, Changing Nations, Changing The World! |
Today, Tuesday 8th March marks the 10th anniversary of T.B. Joshua's television station Emmanuel TV!!! Personally, Emmanuel TV has been a source of incredible inspiration to my life. It has taught me so much about the things of God and opened my eyes to know that what I heard about T.B. Joshua before was nothing but a tissue of lies. Apart from being spiritually enriching, Emmanuel TV is also a powerful tool of 'rebranding' for Nigeria in the international community. I join the millions of viewers around the world to wish this unique station a happy birthday and many greater things to come in the mission of 'Changing Lives, Changing Nations and Changing The World'. As T.B. Joshua always says, "The best is yet to come!" Please drop your birthday message below:

Why should people continue to call an 'attack' an 'accident'? Nigeria will not go unpunished for this monumental cover-up. |
I'm in no position to comment on the internal politics at work in this complicated case. One thing I do know - the way that building fell down was NOT ordinary... Structural defect? Sabotage? Perhaps we'll never know the whole story. |
An academic professor has published a research paper in an American online journal disputing claims that The SCOAN building collapsed due to structural failure and questioning the validity of the coroner's report. He is convinced it is as a result of some form of sabotage or terrorist attack A very interesting read... http://www.asraresearch.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/B1-B5-The-Synagogue-Church-of-All-Nations-Building-Collapse.pdf Anyone remember the video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6DwUoqzaeI& |
Prophet T.B. Joshua continues to fly the flag for Nigeria abroad, having been selected to choose three young leaders who will represent the nation at an internationally renowned conference across Asia and Europe. According to a post on Joshua’s official Facebook Page, Humanitarian Affairs, “an international NGO that aims to empower young people who are passionate about social change to make a real impact in the world”, selected the pastor for his dedication in developing ‘leaders of tomorrow’. Joshua has been designated to “select three Youth Leaders between 18-35 years old to represent Nigeria in the 7th University Scholars Leadership Symposium (USLS),” to be held in August 2016 in Hanoi, Vietnam, who “will share the secrets behind his extensive humanitarian efforts around the world”. T.B. Joshua is well known for his charitable work over the decades, especially the provision of scholarships to students such as Mary Jean Nleya who was sponsored to Harvard University, Yinka Oduwole to the University of Oxford and thousands more to academic institutions worldwide. Humanitarian Affairs, a member of the United Nations Global Compact, will bring together over 1,000 leaders and world leading experts from more than 60 countries at the USLS. “Ultimately, the organisation envisions building an international network of inspired, empowered and proactive young leaders who will be influential change-makers and decision-makers of the future,” their website states. One of the keynote speakers at the event, Mr Haoliang Xu, Assistant Secretary General, United Nations, said, “I think Humanitarian Affairs has created such a wonderful platform for you to gather together to discuss leadership, to discuss your own actions and to deal with humanitarian and development challenges that the world faces.” Joshua has spearheaded numerous global humanitarian projects including relief in disaster-hit countries such as Haiti and Philippines, alongside support for the physically challenged, widows, little people, orphans and elderly. Additionally, he founded a football club for the less-privileged called My People FC, which discovered the likes of SS Lazio and Nigerian midfielder Ogenyi Onazi and FIFA U-17 World Cup MVP Sani Emmanuel. He was also ranked among the most famous prophets in history by American website ranker.com, given the highest ranking by Google for institutions within Nigeria and awarded the ‘Yoruba Man Of The Decade’. Joshua’s television station Emmanuel TV recently surpassed 300,000 subscribers on YouTube, making it one of the most subscribed Christian channels worldwide.

Well, I want to remind people of TB Joshua's words last week Sunday. He told people to pray for Nigeria 'this coming Wednesday' because of an incident that was about to happen. He said that if prayers were offered, the hand of God would be seen in the midst of the incident. Thank God all lives were rescued! |
The level of rubbish spewed forth by some Nairalanders in the comment section is nauseating. How many of you own a worldwide television station and can give such a message LIVE to an audience in the brackets of millions - yet you can sit on your computers to type trash about someone like TB Joshua. The guy is a gift to this nation and generation. Why can't you recognise it? |
I am very sure this is what TB Joshua foresaw when he told Nigerians to pray this Wednesday. I don't know if anyone else saw it but he very clearly told Nigeria to pray 'this coming Wednesday' during his time of prophecies last Sunday. |
I specifically remember Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV last Sunday calling for prayers for Nigeria for this Wednesday. He said that if we prayed, God would answer us and then emphasised prayers again for Wednesday. Look at what just happened here in Lagos – a Bristow helicopter crashed but reportedly all occupants survived. |
Read this news today in Sun - http://sunnewsonline.com/new/external-pressure-may-force-fg-to-devalue-naira/ Quickly remembered the words of TB Joshua - “The president will do everything to reject revaluation of the naira – which is a good idea from a good leader. But there will be overwhelming pressure which he will not be able to resist. Nigerians, support and pray for your leader. The future is crying for help,” The Federal Government may soon lose its current battle to defend the Naira using capital controls, as huge external pressures continued to deplete the nation’s foreign reserve. In just a few days last week, Nigeria’s external reserve lost a whooping $112million, even though the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) had already shut out about 41 items from its foreign currency windows. But the current pressures on the President Muhammadu Buhari government seemed to have been intensified after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation led by its Managing Director, Ms Christine Lagarde, ended its four-day official visit to the country, where fiscal/monetary policy flexibility and subsidy related issues topped the agenda. The IMF president, who said, ” I am not in Nigeria to negotiate loans with conditionality,” had, however, advised the authorities that to build the external reserve, the regulators have to make additional exchange rate flexibility, either up or down to help soften the impact of external shocks. She also urged the government to further raise its VAT rates, stressing that Nigeria currently pays one of the lowest rates in Africa. But despite assurances by both the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele and President Buhari to resist pressures to further devalue Naira after about 27 per cent devaluation in the last one year, indications are that they may be forced to capitulate soon to secure the global business community’s support for the 2016 budget. This is more so as the Nigerian government intends borrowing an estimated N900billion from the international financial market to finance its NI.84trillion deficit, which stakeholders believe may not be feasible if it totally rejects the IMF’s advice. That perhaps, may be a major consideration for more devaluation in the months ahead. Already, against the backdrop of its falling revenue profile, Nigeria’s foreign reserve took a big hit last week losing a whopping $112million to close at $28.960billion despite government’s capital control imposed since June 2015. The $112 million fall in the nation’s reserve, which was about the highest since the CBN began implementation of the bank verification number (BVN) for forex transaction. Managing Director, Chief Economist, Africa Global Research of Standard Chartered Bank, Razia Khan, has said the renewed downward pressure in Nigeria’s external reserve balances and falling oil prices call for a move to more liberalised FX regime, as Nigerian businesses suffer in an increasingly FX constrained environment. She hinted that although no official FX assumption was mentioned in the budget, many believe that Nigeria will need a weaker FX rate to meet its official deficit goal of 2.16per cent of GDP in 2016. Khan also noted that the inflation outlook will be an important driver of the policy decisions taken by the Nigerian authorities in the coming weeks, as well as the likely sequencing of economic reforms since the $38 per barrel benchmark used by President Buhari for the 2016 budget is already under threat with Brent crude selling at about $33 per barrel last week. On the other hand, the Managing Director, Cowry Asset Management Limited, Johnson Chukwu, lamented that the danger associated with the sharp drop in reserve was that it might fall to a certain threshold where the country may not be able to meet its foreign currency obligations. According to him, this could trigger loss of confidence by the country’s trade partners, who may insist on cash collateral/cover before establishing letters of credit for Nigeria’s importers. He explained: “The drop in the foreign reserve may not be unconnected with the negotiation of letters of credit established for the importation of PMS, which were funded from the N413billion allocated to payment of petrol subsidy in the recently approved supplementary budgeted. Other factors that may have contributed to the outflow include remittances of proceeds of ticket sales by airlines and payment of other matured foreign currency obligations.” Chukwu, however, expects that the government will take appropriate measures to diversify the sources of the country’s foreign exchange earning. Similarly, another analyst at WSTC, Olu Oni, explained that the danger associated with the depletion of reserve is that it will continue to aggravate the pressure on exchange rate, as it also affect perception about the ability of our financial institutions to meet FX obligations. He noted: “At a time other countries are building back reserve, Nigeria has increased its consolidated spending without a corresponding increase in generating revenue. With respect to the 2016 budget, he said that the declining oil prices, already below the 2016 budget assumptions, will, no doubt, put pressure on the performance of the budget if oil price stays at the current level for too long. According to him, the ability of the Federal Government to achieve its ambitious revenue projections from the non-oil sector amid current restrictions on access to FX, also remains a major concern. “We do not think the CBN will wait till reserve is completely depleted before it does the needful. We believe economic exigencies will eventually trump political considerations as regards the resolution of the lingering currency crisis,” he said. But CBN Director of Communications, Mr. Ibrahim Mu’azu, who spoke to Daily Sun on telephone, allayed fears Nigeria’s reserve was experiencing any unusual erosion that could threaten her 2016 budget. He described the observed movement as normal trends that should not panic anyone. According to him, the movement of reserve for any economy is determined by volume of trading activities (inflow/outflow) and the domestic currency, but the cross rates of the convertible currencies at the international financial market. However, financial experts who spoke to Daily Sun, insist on diversification of the economy, devaluation and a move to a more liberalised FX regime, without which the country may not be able to meet its foreign currency obligations and scare away investors. Also reacting to the development, the Head of Equity Research at FBN Capital Bunmi Asaolu, stated that the obvious danger associated to the drop in reserve was devaluation of the nation currency, but has implications for growth in general. “The whole reserve will not be completely drained because the government will not want to do that. The obvious step is to pass on the pain by devaluing the currency. That will reduce demand for Us dollars since the devaluation will make the dollar a lot more expensive for Nigerians/Nigerian businesses,” Asaolu stated. While he dispelled fear of threat to the economy, Asaolu hinted that it will require the government to reduce its spending plans, borrow more or accept a higher deficit. President of Constance Shareholders of Nigeria, Mallam Shehu, identified that the challenges militating against stable foreign reserves have been discovered to include volatility of foreign exchange inflow, fiscal federalism, development of productive non-oil economy exploit, natural challenge and training and retention of staff. He suggested that the solution, therefore, was for all three tiers of government to imbibe the culture of corporate governance by ensuring proper accountability and transparency in managing their allocations of federally collected revenue. According to him, unless Nigeria manages to accumulate a stronger fiscal reserve – major compensating increases in non-oil revenues (IGR), macroeconomic stability faces major external risks and government budgets may experience increasing pressures in coming months. |
TB Joshua actually said this... "The president will do everything to reject revaluation of the naira – which is a good idea from a good leader. But there will be overwhelming pressure which he will not be able to resist," Joshua purportedly stated in his New Year 'prophecy' on Christian television network Emmanuel TV. “He has good intentions but a king’s intentions cannot be carried out properly without the support of the subjects. He needs your support to lead us out of the valley,” the cleric added. "Nigerians, support and pray for your leader. The future is crying for help.” |
The visit of International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief Christine Lagarde to Nigeria has placed an uncomfortable spotlight on the fiscal woes of Africa's biggest oil producer as the pressure on President Muhammadu Buhari to devalue the Nigerian currency has increased. Several articles from international financial news providers have reiterated the call for Buhari to devalue the Nigerian naira in lieu of the steadily decreasing oil prices or risk further economic woes. In a report titled, 'Pressure Mounts for Nigeria Naira Devaluation on Oil Plunge', Bloomberg noted, "The Central Bank of Nigeria may revise its target for the naira by more than 20 percent to 240-250 per dollar as oil continues its decline," citing the research of London based economist Alex Cameron. "Cumbersome foreign exchange restrictions are strangling economic growth," the media house further quoted economist John Ashbourne as saying. "The authorities will be forced to devalue the naira in the first half of 2016." Financial Times published an article titled, 'Nigerian naira: is the end nigh?' The newspaper surmised, "A currency crisis is brewing in Nigeria, with investors betting Africa's largest economy could soon be forced to devalue its currency as lower oil prices strain its finances." "Such a devaluation will be painful, but probably less damaging in the long run than the gradual strangulation imposed by the current system," the article concluded. Oluseun Onigbinde wrote a practical report titled, 'It's Naira or Never: Nigeria Needs Decisive Action On Its Currency' for The Guardian UK. He noted, "This devaluation is keenly anticipated by many foreign investors, but some analysts have warned it could lead to more speculative trade, and have questioned how the naira's 'fair value' will be determined. Until now, the government has rejected this course of action, but it may be forced to reconsider." Although Lagarde has not officially stated any agenda to discuss devaluation of the naira during her four-day visit to Nigeria, analysts have suggested the sore subject is high on the priorities for the IMF chief's meetings with Buhari. Several online commentators have observed the heightened calls for devaluation come several days after a 'prediction' by prominent Nigerian 'Prophet', TB Joshua who allegedly warned Buhari about the currency crisis. "The president will do everything to reject revaluation of the naira – which is a good idea from a good leader. But there will be overwhelming pressure which he will not be able to resist," Joshua purportedly stated in his New Year 'prophecy' on Christian television network Emmanuel TV. "He has good intentions but a king's intentions cannot be carried out properly without the support of the subjects. He needs your support to lead us out of the valley," the cleric added. "Nigerians, support and pray for your leader. The future is crying for help." Joshua's supporters claim he had similarly predicted the rapid decline in oil prices in December 2013, stating Nigeria would soon be forced to 'drink' its own oil. After an eight month absence, Nigerian ‘Prophet’ T.B. Joshua returned to his Lagos-based church, The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), on Sunday 3rd January 2016 with more prophetic revelations concerning Africa. Speaking on the Nigerian political scene, Joshua declared that a minority party would soon rise to significance. “One of the minority parties will be lifted up and reckoned with,” he told congregants. “Let us pray for God’s love and unity in Nigeria.” It would be recalled that Joshua allegedly predicted the rise of the current ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC), in 2010. Joshua further called for prayers for Nigeria’s new Agriculture Minister, Audu Ogbeh. “We have to pray for God to sustain him because much is expected from him,” Joshua declared, alluding to his earlier advice for the government to invest heavily in the agricultural sector. The cleric also ‘prophesied’ extensively concerning Southern Africa and the challenges the region would face in 2016, particularly the farming industry. “There will be little rain at the wrong time, which is not good for farming,” Joshua warned. “Many farmers will be discouraged,” he continued, calling on the government to build “dams and irrigation mechanism using available water from the sea.” He further warned Southern African nations not to yield to any temptation to surrender their industries to foreign companies because of the challenges that would arise. Speaking in his usual parabolic tone, Joshua called for prayers for the regional leaders as “the ending of February to April are very peculiar months in the Southern African sub-region.” Joshua further gave a global warning concerning the volatile North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. “I am seeing an ‘arrow’ from there and it will affect the world,” he declared, adding that North Korea possessed weaponry that most countries were unaware of. “The war we are fighting already in Syria is still there. We cannot afford another one again,” he stated, calling for those involved to embrace peace. “There are going to be unusual, uncommon challenges this year 2016 but in challenges, we children of God flourish,” he added, encouraging congregants and viewers of his popular television station Emmanuel TV. Followers of the Nigerian ‘Prophet’ were delighted to see his return to the pulpit, claiming his unusual prolonged absence was for ‘spiritual fortification’. “Can you see that your pastor did not go on holiday,” Joshua jokingly told the crowd after he had moved in the midst of the huge congregation, ministering ‘deliverance’ and ‘prophecy’. The service had over 3,000 foreigners in attendance, including those who had travelled from the Eastern European nations of Ukraine and Russia. Joshua’s last public appearance at The SCOAN was in April 2015, shortly before his ‘Miracle Crusade’ in the Aztec Stadium in Mexico City which allegedly attracted over 150,000 attendees. T.B. Joshua’s First Daughter Called To Bar in New York, Nigeria Serah Oyindamola Joshua, the first daughter of famous Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua, was one of the 3,277 who were called to the Bar on December 15th and 16th, having successfully completed the September 2015 Bar Final Examinations at the Nigerian Law School. In an exclusive interview with The Guardian, Serah revealed that she will also be called to the bar in New York in January, having passed final examinations in November. “I’m grateful to God, my family and friends, who have been of help to me. I am humbled and privileged to have succeeded. I am very happy,” Serah told The Guardian. “I am privileged and fortunate to be the daughter of such a humble and great man of God called TB Joshua. He is someone I look up to because my father is a man of God and he has been able to guide me every time I need him. I am too happy, so humbled to be his daughter. He has been a good guide. Thus, I can’t afford to disappoint him and God, because to whom much is given, much is expected.” How does she react to comments about her father? She says, “He is a true example of humility. I have seen so many character traits in him that are worthy to emulate. As a father, he is the best father anybody can pray to have. I am not just saying that because he is my father; this is just the truth. Also, it’s not what I think about him or what people think about him that counts but what God says about him.” She adds, “That’s why I said he is a true man of God and it’s not what people say that counts but what God says. Everybody has the right to air his or her opinion but God’s opinion counts most.” What was his reaction to her success story? “He was very happy and proud of me. I am always happy whenever he is proud of me. He has given me so much and I feel I have a lot to offer and can’t afford to disappoint him.” Was there any special gift or words of encouragement he gave her as a child? “Life is an experience,” she exclaims. “I know my dad and he is a living example of how to be humble and devoted to God.” The name TB Joshua has opened doors for her but not as many would think. “When people know that I am his daughter, they are always surprised and that spurs me on to work harder and achieve what I want. To every glory is a story to tell.” She adds, “He is the best dad I could ever wish for. I am so grateful to God.” On how her friends relate to her and whether they expect her to introduce them to him for prayers, she has this to say: “Yes, many are surprised, and some even want me to introduce them to him for prayers.” What’s next for Serah? “I will also be called to bar in New York in January. I passed the final examinations in November and I’m getting set for the January date in New York Supreme Court.” Challenges growing up? The young lady, who attended Ronik International School, Ejigbo, Lagos State, and later, the London School of Economic (LSE), where she did her law degree before earning a master’s in New York University (NYU) Law School, explains, “We all have challenges, but with what my father has taught me, I see challenges as stepping stone to greater heights. Also, challenges are not personal because God is involved in seeing you through. Every stumbling block is a lesson to move higher in life.” Is she her daddy or mummy’s pet? She expresses surprises, saying, “I am daddy’s pet, because I admire him a lot and the best is yet to come.” Her younger sister, Promise Joshua, who attended the occasion in Abuja, Nigeria, added: “By God’s grace, we are following his (T.B. Joshua’s) path and seeing results. My sister, who is just 22, and her ability to have combined the New York and Nigerian bar exams is a testimony to the disciplined upbringing our father gave us. She has been a role model and I am following her footsteps.” Promise is currently studying Politics and International Relations at the London School of Economics (LSE). According to an American website, www.ranker.com, that has compiled a detailed list of the most famous prophets in the world, two Nigerian prophets, Prophet TB Joshua and Prophet Joseph Babalola, are on the list.T.B. Joshua, Pastor of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) held the number 15 spot while Joseph Ayo Babalola, the founder of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), held number 36. Ranker’s website reported that they have “built one of the world’s largest opinion databases, collecting more than 250 million user votes”. The website is known to provide ‘crowd-sourced rankings’, therefore attracting more than 20 million visits, monthly. Majority of the 79 ‘prophets’ chronicled by the website are ancient figures from Biblical or Islamic history such as Moses, Shuaib and Isaiah, with Jesus Christ topping the list. “This list of notable prophets is ordered by their level of prominence,” Ranker revealed in the introduction put together for the list. “What they have in common is that they’re all renowned prophets.” However, Prophet TB Joshua is the only individual mentioned who is still alive and one of seven from the modern era.Babalola, who is credited with popularising ‘Aladura’ in Nigeria and across Africa, died in 1959. T.B. Joshua’s alleged prophecies on world events have proved very controversial, often stirring debate on social mediums after their release. The cleric is reported to have predicted world events such as the terrorist attacks in Paris, the mysterious disappearance of Malaysian Flight MH370 and the death of pop legend, Michael Jackson.
