But I thought in Islam religion and core Hausa/Fulani tradition, the man (Mai Gida) is permitted to marry as many wives as he could take care of..... Why is Nana Shettima feeling insecured?

Politics / Different Types Of People You See In Campaign Rally by malikombi(m): 3:52pm On Feb 09, 2023
(1) PARTY SUPPORTERS
These are the real supporters of a political party. According to a survey conducted in Nigeria, 66% of Nigerian has a political party of interest and whenever a rally is scheduled within their locality, they are not ashamed to come out and support their party.
(2) THE ONLOOKERS
Some of us have fallen under this category at some point in time. These people have no affiliation to the party holding the rally but just wanted to feed their eyes and have the opportunity to see the celebrity politicians face-to-face.
(3) THE MOBILIZED CROWD
These are the people politicians recruit to attend rally. They can travel as far as Lagos to Kaduna to attend a rally and they pay between 2 to 10k. They usually come in branded clothes, face caps etc. (Not necessarily though)
(4) THE JOBLESS ONES
Since many youths are jobless or underemployed, they wouldn't mind to attend a rally whenever it comes within their vicinity.
This group is similar to the onlookers as they only attend to while away their time.
(5) THE HOODLUMS
It's most likely impossible to see any large gathering in Nigeria without the presence of uninvited hoodlums. They position themselves in strategic places with the intention of hailing politicians to receive financial rewards and they can cause problem if anyone tries to stop them to achieve their aim.
(6);THE TRADERS
Since most rallies are held in the afternoon during the hot dry season, it allows opportunity for traders to make accelerated sales. Items ranging from water, soft drink, cigarettes, alcohol etc are usually brought to the ground and these people make profits they wouldn't have made in their normal day-to-day activity.
(7) THE PICKPOCKETS
These set of people are indispensable in most large gathering in Nigeria. Just like the hoodlums, they operate like a syndicate and cause a little uproar within the ground and this gives opportunity for the other members to carry out their mission.
They are very swift, smart and intelligent. Within a split second, your phone, wallet or other valuable item is gone.
Security operatives try to curtail the activities of 5 & 7 but they can only manage them as they are almost inevitable.

Was she the one who truly confessed to suffocating the baby??
If yes, I feel she should be in jail now because eyewitness narrating the story as it contained in the chat should testify against her in court.
But forget, if it's Twitter stories, all na cruise

This news actually reveals one of the problems of this society/country.
The lady here is obviously doing this for money.
NDLeA keep arresting foot soldiers while the real culprits are planning another strategy to employ for safe distribution of their products.
May God help us in this nation.

In 2007, everyone has dispersed after the completion of our family meeting in Bode Ibadan (where we lived then). My dad and I was changing the faded posters of Prof Adedoja (of action congress) who is a contestant of Oyo Guber election (he was my dad's fav). The house is by the roadside and suddenly, we heard tyres screeching. Hoodlums alighted from the bus and started shooting sporadically.
Before they could get to us, we both fled but they destroyed his car parked outside, made their way into the house, broke all the bottles used for the meeting and met my mum in her room sleeping. She was stabbed multiple times in the head and they thought she had died.
Today, the scars tells the story.
The place is only about 1km to Baba Adedibu's house and everyone could easily guess who the assailants are.
We made headline in newspapers but more importantly, we are alive
