My dear, I travelled to elpaso last year with my 7months old. Because I wanted to save money, I flew JFK, then took American Airlines to elpaso. That was the most stressful journey ever. I paid less than 250 to JFK, then connecting flight to elpaso was a whooping 100k per person o. as per December period na, and the worst thing u will do for yourself is to book at the airport, they will use ur money to make up for all the cheap tickets they sold. And most domestic flights don't leave from JFK, but from
Laguardia airport. So na taxi , plus all your luggage you go carry again enter, you can be lucky to get a bus. Then on checking in, we were told that we had to pay for our luggages, we were charged 25$ for each luggage n we had 5 bags. We flew to Atlanta, then took another flight to houston, then to elpaso, all the flights going straight to elpaso from JFK were full. By the time I calculated the stress and then the money I was trying to save, I realized that it all summed up to what I would have paid as total ticket if I had taken a flight from abuja to elpaso. I felt so stupid! Will never try it again. Anybody trying to break the journey should go to expedia.com and compare the domestic flight of were your going to. It's not worth the stress. I am talking from experience. I am travelling in December again,this time around with heavy tummy, and my toddler. I no fit abeg.

@Baby mama, just like Phema pointed out, lying does come natural to you. you are giving the VO on the other thread a different story from what you told us here. why did u even have to lie that your single! smh! well I think you should just use the visa for vacation, wear loose clothing, but if they eventually ask you, say the truth. come back, send a mail to the embassy. atlst you have used it for the purpose it was issued.

Have really missed this thread. Ok so my cousin went for her interview on Monday in Abj and it went like this. (She is not really an internet person so I helped her get information from this thread).

Cuzin: spoke all the English she knew how to and the woman wasn't still buying it. My Cuzin even went ahead and told her to call doctoresparati and she refused. Kept saying "unbelievable".
Anyway, finally, she didn't give them neither did she reject them. She just told them to go and come back with a signed and stamped letter , one from a doctor and another one from the hospital. And she warned them not to bring any document via email. In fact the come back letter she gave them were she stated d documents to bring, she boldly wrote "no email traffic". My cuzin was already frowning her face and the woman quickly told her she was doing her a huge favor, na so she quickly begin smile.

So they contacted doctoresparati and told them, but they said they could not send them a signed letter from del sol and a doctor. And they don't do courier. They could only attach another letter were they would break down the cost and then sign it. After they sent it, my cuzin's hubby used a colored printer and a hard copy paper to print it. Infact when I saw the letter self, it looked like it was actually couriered.

So they went back on Thursday and as GOd would have it the woman went for lunch, so they met another VO , he collected the letter, read it through, asked for their acct statement, in fact he was more interested in playing with their toddler and ended up not reading the statement again. Just told them to come back on Monday and pick up their visas.
