Good day everyone thank you all for providing helpful information on this trend. Please I need some clarification. I was able to reschedule my daughter appointment from Aug 2025 to November 2024. Glory be to God. MYSELF and her dad already been to the US twice and we just recently renewed our own Visa which we have 5 years. Pls as she is a minor. When going for the interview should myself and her dad go with her since it's us they will ask the questions or only one parent is allowed to go with the child?. 1) Does it matter at port of entry whether you’re showing or not? And will it be easier if one goes before belly is showing

Baby is due in February,but I most likely will give birth in January as i will be going for an elective CS and was wondering about traveling in November or in December at 30 -34weeks

2) How soon can one travel back to nigeria after giving birth? Is 6 weeks after realistic or is this dependent on doctors approval

3) What are the documentations does one need to show at Point of entry?

4) Any suggestions on good and affordable hospital options will really be appreciated as I dont have anyone at the US.

You are to drop your documents in the DHL office.

1. Your passport that has the expired visa. If you have a new passport still go with the one with the visa if not they will not attend to you.

2. Ds 160 confirmation letter

3. Appointment confirmation

4. One 5x5 passport pic. ( white background)

5. You can also add your gtb receipt ( they usually don't ask for it but you can never tell).

NB - Go through your Appointment confirmation letter.

sorry team mate what you facing is just like what am going through. The constant throwing up and spitting is on another level and I didnot have all this 3 years ago when I had my daughter . I am just praying when I enter second trimester . The symptoms will go and I can relax and enjoy this pregnancy cos right now I am not again I am team February 2025.

sorry dear but this kind of health issue should be look at by a health professional... Unstable hbp just early stage of pregnancy shld b managed by Ur doctor... Normally people reduced their salt intake to managed their hbp... All vegetables work in reducing hbp for normal people, especially stem of a plantain tree and soaked unripe pawapaw but they can only b taking when one is not pregnant.... Only Ur doctor can help u manage Ur present symptom... Cos na only them know wetin u fit consume that it won't affect Ur growing baby. Go see your doctor... I don't think nairaland is where u can get d ans u r looking for.

thank you mama for d reply I really appreciate it . I have been to the doc but doc said he doesnot want to give mi on any Anti-bp drugs since my pregnancy is still in early stage. That once I cross the 12weeks they will most likely place mi on drugs . Hence why I was asking for natural remedies I can take before then. Thank you so much .

First off, start off on prenatal vitamins, including folic acid. You can also check a reliable pharmacy to get one that's within your budget.

Antenatal care depends on where you stay, but most hospitals I know usually suggest three months if you're not having any complaints.

Take everything in stride and give your body grace. Things will change so much in this 9 months, but it's for a good cause and your body will go back to normal after birth.

And she can only sleep when I breast feed her ... please I just got a new job which I started last week and every night she must wake up between 3-5times before 6am dat I ve to wake and get ready for work . She can stand holding on to sumtin and walk holding on to sumtin but she is yet to walk by herself pls are der any thing I can do to encourage her more to help her start walking herself. Good morning mamas and happy new week ... please I need suggestions and advice on what to do. Since I had my baby over 9month ago she has never slept by heslef I guess my mum spoilt her with too much carrying dat that she sleep carrying her on her hand. while carrying her and u put her down on d bed or her bassinet she will wake up immediately crying.. den from carrying her to sleep even if it 3 hours we hold her on our hand well she sleeps. Over time it moved to backing when she was about 2-3month. Please to cut story short d issue now is dat my baby still cannot sleep on d bed when she naps and at night I ve to put my hands under her to place her head and dats how she sleeps all d time . Once I get up to just pee I won't ve reached d bath room before I start hearing her cry I will ve to rush so she doesn't fall off d bed while she look for mi . Please i need suggestion as dis backing for 2-3 straight to nap like twice during d day and even at night time before placing her on d bed is already getting stressful . Please mothers in d house . My baby is almost 10month but as no teeth she been showing of teething sign off and on but yet no teeth yet. I can see her up and down gum white but d teeth not out yet. She is fine aside d no teeth she is crawling and already trying to stand. Am worried she has no teeth. also she is slim in nature she hardly take her milk anymore but take small in her cereal is it OK for me to stop giving her milk cos we keep throwing it away after 2 hours and she hasn't taken it . current weight is 6.4kg at 6 month plus.

Please, anyone with updates on the IW slots should kindly relay such here. I have not been able to secure any date, as of yet.

The telegram ID is not available when you search, and I am so weary of the telegram group going by some stories here of how people are just yanked off the group for no reason, even after playing their part in searching. It will be so disheartening if that applies to me, to be honest.

Anyone with useful information should kindly help those of us yet to secure IW appointments. It even beats my imagination as to why the consulate just releases dates sparingly, forgetting the fact that people have actually cancelled their existing appointments.

I can tell for a fact how the Telegram group was a big help to me and a whole lot of people getting a date fast and am sure if others can be truthful will say for a fact how the telegram group was a very good one. Don't go by what people saying about the group. Dey just don't remove anyone from the group . people were removed mostly cos they were not checking for date at deir said allocated time In which they choose themselves . So they had to remove them so as not to set others back . I was able to get a date in just 3days after I joined so if u really need a date and u ready to complie with the group rule which is check once daily and send a screen shot on the group . Then it's best u join so you can get a date asap

d problem isnt d formula... How well is ur daughter feeding? How many times in a day n how many OZ or ML? Wat was her birth weight?

She eats about 6-7 time daily doesn't wake up to feed again at night . Her birth weight was 2.6kg had her at 38weeks dot through cs . Wasnot lactating so much so I was doing more of pumping ..... When she wake up in d morning she takes about 125ml finish then from there 100ml . That's what she feeds on .
