Deziri20: B2 but the visa issued to her is B1/B2 And what reason did you put as purpose for visiting the US? I sent you a pm |

Deziri20: My mum’s visa was approved yesterday in Lagos, and it still feels surreal. This was her second attempt we applied for B2 visa category for her and unlike the first time, everything happened so quickly. We got to the embassy, and in less than 20 minutes, she was done.
Here’s how the conversation went:
VO: Good morning. Mum: Good morning! How are you doing? VO:Why are you traveling to the U.S.? Mum: To visit my daughter, she just had a baby. VO: How long do you plan to stay? Mum: Two months. VO: How did your daughter move to the U.S.? Mum: She got married and relocated. VO: Are you married? If so, why isn’t your husband traveling with you? Mum: Yes, I’m legally married. My husband and I agreed that I should be the one to go, while he stays back with one of our children in Nigeria until I return. VO: Are you planning to get any medical treatment while in the U.S.? Mum: No, not at all. VO:How many children do you have? Mum: Six, but sadly, one recently passed on. VO: How many of them are in the U.S.? Mum: Just one. The rest are here in Nigeria. VO: What do you do for a living? Mum: I’m a retired teacher. VO: Who is funding your trip? Mum: My daughter the one I’m visiting. VO: What does she do? *Mum: She’s a nurse. VO: How long has she been in the U.S.? Mum: 8yrs. VO: Is this her first child? If not, why didn’t you travel to see her when she had the first one? Mum: No, this is her second child. She had her first in 2022, but my visa was denied back then.
At this point, the officer started typing, then suddenly excused herself for a moment. When she returned, she asked again:
VO: Are you sure you’re not going to the U.S. for medical treatment? Mum: I’m very sure.
Then, the officer smiled and said, “I’ll be approving your visa. I hope you have a wonderful time with your daughter.”
My mum smiled back and said, “Thank you so much.”
Thanks to Nairaland I gained a lot of information on this thread that was helpful Did you apply for B2. or B1/B2 for Omugwo? |

Good day hux
Concerning when to use a gift deed and when to use a sponsorship letter, Now my question is, if my relative sends money to my Dom acc and I used the money for my GIC, Note I sent the money directly from my Dom acc. Additionally, this same relative of mine also paid my tuition from his own account, should this relative of mine do a gift deed for the money he sent to my Dom acc and write a sponsorship letter for payment of my tuition? Or what should I do? Thank you. Kindly respond ASAP PLEASE 🙏 |

Hi gurus! Good day to y'all, I've a question to ask.
My old bank account had some issues and I had to open a new one January this year. However, I was refused study permit in March and I had to defer my program to April semester 2025 and edit my GIC to suit my new program. Now my question is can I use the account I just opened in January to show POF? I'm hoping to reapply again soon,by September/October.
Thank you so much y'all |

Hello experts,
I have some questions to ask. In December, my husband sold a property, and the proceeds were deposited into my account for my study permit application. Unfortunately, on March 12th, my visa was denied. Consequently, I withdrew the entire amount from my account for business purposes. Now, I plan to reapply. If I deposit the money back into my account either this month or in May, can I explain in my Statement of Purpose (SOP) why I withdrew the money? Is it acceptable to have the funds in my account from December, withdraw the lump sum in March for business purposes, and then deposit it back in May, with a clear explanation in my SOP? Or do you think I need to start building my account again from the scratch? Note that I deferred to the December Semester and my classes will be starting by January 2025. Your guidance on how to go about this matter is needed. Thank you. |

John39swill: Not really 99% for those that did upfront medical.
I've seen someone who did upfront and it was passed afterwards Visa refusal.
But if the medical was requested, then u ar 99% certain simply because they must have reviewed all ur details and if they are satisfied of admitting u to Canada, then they'll request u go do medicals.
You should pray to God 🙏 for his grace to speak for you since you didn't fail medical. Amen. Thank you so much for your response |

John39swill: Bro/Sis
The fact that u have received medical request from IRCC, you're 99% certain you will get ppr soon.
From experience, I haven't seen otherwise before, what comes mostly next after medical request is passport request except medical was failed. I want to ask you a question ❓ I did medical upfront. However, My medical has been passed. When medical is passed, does that mean one has more than 80% chance of getting PPR? |

Glossylips: Has your eligibility started? Medical passed? Yes, my medical has passed, Eligiblity has started. The visa officer sent a me a correspondence to resend my MBS that the password for the MBS I sent them wasn't accessable. That was two weeks ago. I have sent a new updated MBS and Statement of my account to IRCC on Monday 4th. Since then I'm yet to receive a final decision from them on my application and my application has surpassed the processing time of 10 weeks. |

Rosemary1295: Finally my husband’s ppr just dropped .All thanks to God for making this possible and also making me cross path with Zubizareta on this platform. When my husband’s first application was denied in June 2023, he was so sad,and mentally drained,as a wife I was looking for ways to make him feel better and cheer him up then I came across so many testimonies directing to the mastermind Zubizareta on this platform i became confident that through him our story will be a success and here it is, immediately I sent a message across to him and he assured me everything will be a success,he encouraged never to give up, and just like he said it’s indeed a success,He advised us not to reapply immediately that we should order for his Gcms note.We followed the instructions and started all over again, though it wasn’t an easy journey ..but thankfully it ended in praise….special thanks goes to Almighty GOD and to Zubizareta
