Bobomaigida:
If your children are older than 5 then SP will be the appropriate visa for them. Your mum can be VV.

For dependents POF

Spouse - C$4,000
for the kids - C$ 3,000 each.
You can also plan C$3,000 for Mumcy.

However, it is ALWAYS better to have more than what is stated above for the POF. Then add return flight tickets money and miscellaneous fund.
Thank you 🙏🏾

Hello, an estimated amount 14,174 + 10,000 = 24,174cad, use the parallel market to convert (20M will be okay)
And if I pay my first semester tuition of $7k, my new estimate will be $17k right ?
Please send me the parallel market link, I tried googling but didn’t see the conversion page
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Mamaoseme33:
JMG12:
From the information you shared with the images attached, it seems the tuition fee was increased, tuition fee is subject to increase after admission has been offered they always state.
Estimate
16k + 17k + 20k (this is for living expenses for the total for the 2yrs) = 53k CAD. An estimate of 35M (But can show as POF 20M to 25M)
You can include 4k for miscellaneous
Do the conversion using parallel market
Hey house, just curious how much my pof should be? My program is 1year and tuition is 7k for each semester. How much should I show + 10k living expenses.

Good morning everyone I want to also ask this question. I'm going to Canada with a sponsorship from my uncle's company starting that the company is sponsoring my education and other living expenses, with a promotion letter attached that I will be promoted once I come back to Nigeria after my graduate program. Now my question is, I want to know if after the graduate program I can stay more in Canada and go for nursing program as in a bachelor's degree in nursing being that I do not have any nursing cert. Just aux. Nursing cert. From the hospital I practiced with.
Thanks

Good morning my everyone. Please I need you guys to help my answer these questions.
1. My uncle's company that wants to sponsor me has not done tax clearance for the past 3yrs and had also not renew his CAC for about 9yrs now, my question is can I still go ahead with using the company as my sponsor?

2. I receive salary in cash most of the time and/ or account. if I don't have a payslip of 6months and above before applying for study permit will I be granted even if the payslip shows less then 6 months?

3. Pls I need step by step guidance on how to show a perfect POF while applying for study permit.

Thank you so much. Pls I need help ASAP.

The CAD $9k at Humber is it for a year? And wym should you refuse the offer because the tuition is 9k? Were you not expecting to pay tuition? 😂😂😂

Check schools that support Mpower. So far that’s the only one I know. But they don’t support colleges- so you’ll need to check universities in Canada that Mpower supports. Then you’ll now deal with how do you get admission to these universities (since we all know how tight and competitive it is to get admission in Canadian Universities)

May God help and strengthen you.

Alternatively, you can be working and saving small small in Nigeria, when you gather small money you can push your education forward.

Just take it one step at a time and know it’s not a do-or-die matter.
thank you so much for your response. The 9k is per semester o and I got an offer from Teeside university in UK last year o I refused the offer thinking that Canada is way cheaper... If only I knew but anyway sha thank you so much for the encouragement I actually needed it.

@ Mamaoseme33,

1.) Eligibility...... your choice of program should align with either your previous degree/academic background (for those who are fresh from school OR your work experience (if you have worked for eg.5 years and above.

2.) Family an Economic ties.......your ability to convince the VOs that you are coming back to 9ja after study given your family ties (Parents/immediate family/siblings), Assets (Landed properties/building), professional ties and associations and good job/ business you will resume after study.Your SOP has to be convincing enough at this point.

3.) Relevance of your program to your medium and long term career. Etc

I hope this helps.

Wishing u nothing but the best
. Thank you. Sent you a pm
