Oh wow! I would love to know your experience. Although, I got my first dose today, I'm not certain I will be able to take the 2nd dose before I travel.

Queenmama03:
I strongly advise anyone coming to Canada to get fully vaccinated if you have the opportunity to. Unfortunately I was only able to get one shot before leaving Naija. My experience has been terrible so far. I'll share when I put myself together.

Merci beaucoup gracedson. God bless you.

gracedson:
Make it before going to DHL, you know you’ll have to print the receipt and add to your file.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by mamatee2: 11:13am On Aug 28, 2021
Thank you very much gracedson for your prompt response. Please can I make the transmission fee payment ahead before going to drop my passport or should I wait till I get to DHL?

gracedson:
I am sorry I made a mistake, I am going to correct it right away, the correct amount is 8,920 NGN.
For the 2 ways courier and insurance, I paid less than 20k NGN, I think 18k and some kobo.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by mamatee2: 10:30am On Aug 28, 2021
Hi gracedson,

Two questions please:
1. You mentioned somewhere that Transmission fee is 8920 naira but I can see 8200 naira here. Can you please confirm which is actually the correct fee?

2. Please how much did you pay for 2-way courier at DHL and the insurance cost?
I will be sending my passport on Monday.

Thanks. I will appreciate your response.

gracedson:
I sent mine to Abuja.

If you did biometrics in Lagos and want to send to Lagos , no fees is paid .
But If you did biometrics in Lagos and want to send to Abuja , you are paying Transmission fee of 8200 NGN to CANADA LOGISTIC COLLECTION ACCOUNT (a/c no 0065165839) sterling bank.

*Buy an envelope
*International Passport itself
*Two photocopies of your passport data page
*Your yellow or white biometrics slip (the document you received after doing Biometric)
*Passport request letter
*Consent form downloaded and signed (Note: you are signing just the second page of the consent form)
*One plain sheet of paper where you can write your address and phone number .

Print out receipts of the 8200 too
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by mamatee2: 3:30pm On Aug 26, 2021
Thanks gracedson for this info.

gracedson:
IMPORTANT:

If you want to send your passport to Abuja, the transmission fee currently is #8,920 and no longer #7,430.

Sorry to ask for this, but this is to ginger me too being 43 already.

No, I didn't.
I just got a letter from IRCC that my husband should send a letter of consent/authorization to allow my daughter travel with me.

nifnifemi:
Congratulations.

Did you apply for a written authorization letter for your daughter? If yes. How long did it take for the approval to come?

Hello everyone
I have been trying to log in. Please, admin. I do not know what went wrong since 8.30am. Trying to share my son's PPR alert today.

I congratulate everyone that has received PPR . Also i pray that this joy will go round IJMN. All those expecti ng,keep on praying and be positive.
For those reapplying,do not give up.

My son's journey is a long one. About two years ago.i will share the full details later for people in this forum to gain .

#Two USA visa refuasals
#First Canada study permit refused with over six reasons. The annoying point is:you do not have enough money for transportation. I do think V.O did not go through the documents and SOP
#Second application :Received PPR for misrepresentation. We replied and was refused with one point:financial status and personal assets. I thank God he was not banned 5 to 10 years.
#Third application. PPR today.

Please be strong,if you have been refused. Be strong.
My son is 18years now. High School graduate. Admission at Lethbridge College,Alberta. To study Computer Information Tech. Two year with Co op.

Please, pardon my typo errors.

When I logged in to view the message that was sent to me, that was when I saw that my daughter's profile was showing application updated, and when I clicked on it, then I noticed that her eligibility review had started and nothing else.
