Oh dear, so sorry about this. Sincerely, it's not fair on IRCC part to have made you wait this long only to be refused at the end. Please order your gcms notes to see the issues/concerns raised in full detail. Then re-apply by tackling them accordingly. Wishing you all the best in your next application. LoadedHollow: Omg I’m typing this with tears in my eyes. I applied for study permit since November 16 2020 but after emailing for the past 2 weeks and messaging an MP yesterday, the application is out. I’ve been rejected for personal asset and financial status. The thing is that the account used had millions of naira but rejected still. It’s been years since the last time I shed a tear but today, I shed them like a little baby. I don’t know what to do right now |

Congratulations! TundeTheHunter: E don happen o!!!!! PPR ALERT TIMELINE: • February 8th: First submission • February 17th: I received an NSE request. I had already submitted IELTS, so they just requested for MBS certificate. • March 10th: I completed my NSE resubmission. • March 16th: I went for upfront medicals • April 12th: Medicals were updated to passed • April 19th: I received a BVL At this point I was so excited and was anticipating receiving PPR. • April 21st:Received a request letter asking for police certificate. I received the request mail around 6am. I went to Ikoyi that same day to get the police certificate and submitted it that same day. • May 5th: I received a second BVL. When I received this, I was so confused. I had never heard of someone receiving more than on BVL. I thought IRCC mistakenly sent me BVL instead of PPR. • May 31st : I ordered my GCMS notes • June 30th: I received my GCMS notes. They were perfect, they showed “Eligibility: passed” and “Final: approved”. I was so happy, but IRCC decided to keep me waiting. I can't lie, I started to doubt whether the notes were true. • July 28th : PPR I am a first time applicant. I applied for a PGD in Marketing & Data Analytics at Okanagan college. I submitted 2 MBS certificates, one from my dad and the other from my uncle. I also submitted two letters of sponsorship, one from my parents the other from my uncle. It has ended in praise!! |

Congratulations! Shommyface: IT'S PPR!!!
LONG POST!!!!
MY GcKEY WATCH IS OVER!!!
#NairaLand Silent Reader Since 2018.
First and foremost, I want to thank God for this. The journey began in 2018, when I was finishing my Bsc in Malaysia. I applied to University of Calgary (Msc of Computer Science Thesis) 2018 after graduating with First Class in Malaysia, but UCalgary rejected me. In the same year, I applied to 5 different top universities and was rejected by all of them. Then, in 2020 I was so desperate, I applied to 10 top schools in different provinces and was rejected from all the 10. In my mind I was like, are they doing me from home?
I didnt give up, I didnt relent.
Then, in October 2020, I applied to only three of the schools I had been applying to (UCalgary, UAlberta, and UWaterloo), and by March 8, I received a response from UCalgary, who offered me admission with a FULL FUNDING of CAD 54,000 SCHOLARSHIP, meanwhile my tuition is only CAD 16,000 for the two-year program (I was like, Ehn ehn, Good news at the end)
More PPR in Jesus Name for everyone. God that did mine will do yours. |

Teenie oooooooo!!!!! Congratulations! It has ended in praise at last. I'm so happy for you. Teenie19: Dear Nairaland family,
It has finally dropped ooooo! Glory be to God Almighty!!!!
Sister's application AOR: Feb 11 2021 Program: Practical nursing May 2021 (Sheridan college)- clearly can't go for May 2021 anymore due to delay, will go for Jan 2022 session! Upfront medical : April 28, 2021 ( we said let's do medical to see if it will speed things up, lol jokes) Medical passed: June 14, 2021 (just see how long it took them to update medical!) Eligibility started: July 23, 2021 PPR and correspondence letter: this morning July 27th @ 4:34am!
What a wait! Basically this application took 5 months and 16 days. I remember I considered withdrawing the application at some point, but you all encouraged me to hold on! During this waiting period, 3 gcms notes were ordered and the fourth one has been ordered as well. All the gcms notes received didn't have much info as eligibility was blank. Each time I got the gcms notes, I was always disappointed that eligibility was blank. Now that I think of it, I guess it's not a bad thing...
I just want to use this medium to thank everyone for their support through out this journey! This is a wonderful platform and we all draw strength and hope from one another! One thing that helped me during the long wait was seeing other people's approval postings. I was always encouraged by those success stories. I remember telling myself that my testimony was near when DD097 and demure got approved as we all applied around the same time and faced this delay..
In short, this is a wonderful platform and I hope more people get to know about the wonderful support we have here! Thanks to all the gurus and everyone that tries to assist others with their questions! If you have any questions for me , please feel free to ask here so others can learn from it ! I'm rooting for all my co- February applicants and any one with a delayed application and of course everyone on here , that you will all get a favourable response soon in Jesus name!
Cheers to more success stories ! |

For the Country/Region, put your country of residence (in my case, I put Nigeria) and my nigerian phone number. As for the error on the site, I guess it's just a temporary issue. Just follow whatever instruction given on the site. Hope this helps. shawn55ng: Please where they wrote canada and a phone number am I suppose to leave it that way or change it to mine.
Also from the site they wrote We are experiencing some technical glitch and if you have made a payment and haven't received a new order notification with order number from us, please write to us immediately.
