Hi mamas I’m back again on 3rd journey
This time I’m team November and am having a boy

My dear just relax it's not that bad ... I was induced with my first baby and it wasn't bad at all I even had a very short labour , just 4 hrs and I had a smooth delivery .please just relax and let God , be positive throughout the process and work with your doctor .. U shall testify

I have a question as a first timer. I've been booked for induction and it's making me so uneasy and anxious.

I've heard stories about how labour takes longer and is stronger without much time to breathe. Also heard there is a likelihood of it leading to CS cos of distress.

I'm confused at this moment cos I've been advised my MIL and Mum to chill and see if it comes before my baby gets to 42nd week rather than reporting to the hosp on the induction date. Currently, I'm 41 weeks 1 day according to LMP. According to 3 ultrasound taken at about 7th week, 23rd week and 36th week, my EDD was stated 31st Aug, 31st Aug and 30th Aug respectively. I was told to come to the hosp tomorrow.

If you had been induced before, please shed more light on it. If you have also used KUPA before, how do they handle these stuffs?

I know sey my story long but please help a first timer. Experienced mamas, no leave me o

B.S B.S B.S part 1
My edd was August 4th according to my lmp which was a perfect day for me but baby thought otherwise .
On the 30th of July I started having mild contractions, I ignored it thinking it was the regular BH so I just continued about my activities and even dtd sef, by 5am next morning I was awakened by to gush of water from my veejay so I wake dh and mum up and headed to the hospital. When we got to the hospital the doc examined me n said that I prolly just pissed myself that the liquor is still intact n I shld go home n come back when I feel more intense contractions n I kept arguing with him that I'm not mad na to pee on myself like that , so he said it was just my fore water that expelled n let him just keep me in the hospital for observation since I insisted . After abt another 4 hrs a gynea came I told me that since I wasn't having any strong contractions yet that I'll have to wait till 7pm so he can do a cervical ripening and by the next day induction I said no wahala, fast forward to the 7pm I was called to the Labour ward for the ripening , as the doc started he looked very confused I had to ask what the problem was n he said I was bleeding that did I have any issues during the pregnancy I told him none at all not even ms and he said I shld wait let him call the gynea , when he came he just put on his gloves n put hand n said I was already abt 4cm gone n there was no need for the ripening, my sisters na so I happily pack back my legs waka go my room . By 9pm strong contractions started coming I went n told the nurse she came n gave me pain reliever but that didn't work ,by 1am contractions where already coming back to back like 5 mins apart went back to her and she said she'll move me to the Labour ward by proper morning hmmm I said which one is proper morning again but then was in so much pain to come n start arguing with haunty mtcheww so I just endured till 5.20am , I went back to call her my haunty still said I shld wait but no ooo I insisted so she handed me over to a midwife that took me to the Labour ward and examined me, I was already 8cm gone hallelujah ...she then passed a line stepped out to get cotton wool , my sisters how I dilated from 8cm to 10cm in split seconds is what I can't explain, I shouted "come ooo I want to poo" n she just rushed back checked me and saw my babys head she called other nurses to get a wheelchair n wheel me to the Labour room... as I lay on the bed with one push my lo came out crying his lungs out at exactly 6am August 1 looking all fresh n peng. No tear nothing.

God's faithfulness can never be over emphasised.

team October, I'm out of the race,I went for my normal antenatal yesterday and the doctor couldn't find my baby's heartbeat and I was sent for scan and the scan IUFD,I was Induced yesterday by 9pm and I gave birth to my baby girl sleeping by 4:30pm

Yipeeeee first August baby is here.. we thank God for a safe delivery, may your son be a source of joy to your family ..

Calcium tabs helped with mine, I complained and doctor asked me to add Calcium tabs to my routine meds and the night time muscle pull stopped.

Mamas I hail ooo how una Dey?
Biko what can i do about this muscle pull Kai I can't even sleep ..never had muscle pull with my first ooo please what can i use for relief I've tried shea butter,aboniki ,different types of balm but it's still my regular night visitor and it keeps me up all night .

Braxton Hicks won't just let me be. They are now more painful and uncomfortable compared to my last pregnancy.
I pee every 1hr at night to the extent that I just wish I can sleep in the toilet. Rarely sleep.

Please, we shouldn't joke with our prenatals and let's make sure the little we are eating is well fortified.
We shouldn't hesitate to call on our Doctors whenever we need any clarifications concerning any changes in our system/body. Adhere to your Dr's instructions, if you are not comfortable with some of their prescriptions, kindly seek for second opinion to be sure you are on the right lane.

Start shopping o small small, we are already there.

My dear this is the story of my life had same experience with my first and now again please just stop worrying about it,stop picking it it'll stop once the baby is born . It's pregnancy induced.
If you dey complain to doc deyll keep bombarding you with drugs and it'll keep coming back.

good evening house,please mamas i need help with this o...It started lastweek monday when i started feeling severe pains in my right right ear which made me feel so sick and feverish, so i decided to meet with my midwife on thursday.on seeing her,i explained everything to her then she told me to buy AMPLICLOX,PARACETAMOL AND VITAMIN C which should be taken once in a day for just 3days.As i got home,i eat and took the medicine almost immediately, i was so relieved,i became strong again. Getting to the third day the pain came back again with it's family....I jst don't know what to do,the pain is just toooooooo much......This is my first pregnancy and in this pregnancy, i've experienced pains in my wrist,under my knee,a shocking sensation in my hand and now it's my ear..please help me.

Los weight increasing by the day my hips, waist ,laps ,back and legs hurt like crazy plus the kicks ehhñn like I'm carrying a whole football team but I all we still give thanks.

i am heartbroken. i gave birth to a baby boy thursday lastweek and lost him on saturday morning. i had prolonged labour. i was in labour for close to 48hours. for the first 24hrs, i was dieing in pain, yet nurses will check me and say am just 2cm dilated. It was when they decided to section me that i finally gave birth, inside theatre room. my baby came out and did not cry, was very weak. they supported him with oxygen only for him to die after 2days. since then hv been in pain. pain that i lost my child, and vagina tear they gave me. please pray for me am finding it difficult to move on. pray for God to bless me with twins and wipe my tears.

Teamie i dey kampe .... lo na better footballer .kicks getting stronger by the day.

If it's not smelly and itchy then it's just normal pregnancy discharge it's called leukorrhea ... Totally nothing to worry about .
