Bandwagon says hello.

Where all those people wey dem say "nothing like bandwagon" this season? Dem don declare winner already, based on noise.

Bandwagon is annoying when a winner is decided from stage or the first few days of the season and many people begin to like the housemate because of the buzz.

This season, we are in the third week and there is still debate about who will win or not. As a matter of fact, there is debate about who will make top 5.

Yes there are some viewers who are scrambling and desperately searching for a housemate to attach to not because they like them but because they think other people like them. So bandwagon also exists in this season but is not as annoying as the first one.

I doubt if bandwagon will ever be erased because unfortunately, too many viewers want to "belong" to winning team.

The general consensus is that Level 2 people don't know their strengths, and they are committing a gaffe that we saw quite regularly on SYE


One Housemate performs well in the first task of the season, and the next thing is to start allowing that one housemate lead tasks they have no business leading.

That was what happened last season with WhiteMoney, and they are now doing it with Phyna. Just because you have the most ginger for something, does not mean you have the required skillset. Sometimes, calm down and allow others take front stage.

You cannot be everything, everytime.

One of the major reasons for their loss last week, was that they allowed Phyna to do commentary, and for some reason, the original game they planned, Cyph came up with something else last minutes (he admitted to it in his DS)

It is team work. Every member of the team must contribute, and the leads must be determined by strengths.

This week, na Groovy and Modella suppose take centre stage, yet, it is still the same heads from the last couple of tasks we dey see.

Everybody should know their strengths and know when to allow someone with a greater skillset take charge

But the onus is on Modella and Groovy to stand up and take the lead.

Not everyone knows how to lead even when they are the professionals.

Not watching so i dont know if its Phyna that won't relinquish the role or if them Groovy dont want it.

But what are Bryann and Khalid saying/doing?

I don’t want to be reduced to a pity game- we were all having a blast competing with Trenchers
I don’t even like anyone there anymore, but my spirit has become dampened and filled with pity

They looked very downcast yesterday but I am sure they will soon start bouncing around when they win something.

However, it would be tricky seeing a lineup that would contain a HM that cannot be evicted.

This is the tricky part. Briggy can't afford to have more than 1 rider in each house or else we can lose some strong contenders.

Imagine if 3 strong contenders are up with 1 rider and 1 fake housemate

I just tuned in and saw one girl with wine hair washing plates. I spent 5 minutes wondering which of the girls this was, because she looked much taller than I remembered any of the girls to be. Daniella is the tallest girl, I come dey think, "is it Daniella?" But the girl looked too straight from behind to be Daniella. I couldn't even see her belt, so, I did not see her name.

For me, I think the offences deserve strikes if you look at it from the business side of things. On the surface, they may seem like minor issues but the effect if allowed to continue will affect the business...

Usually they give strike to whisperers after several warnings - ultimately, whispering affects the quality of their show and frustrates their consumers. Especially for a show where the inner workings of the mind is what they are exploring and using to make money.

Knowingly damaging equipment or jeopardising equipment also deserves a strike - It costs money to replace these things. Especially in a country where things like that have to be imported. Exchange rate alone is excruciating talk less of the logistics of getting the items into the country.

As for the finger birdy - that finger broke the fourth wall. If a show wants to maintain the fourth wall, then a participant knowingly going against policy deserves discipline.
