The management of the University of Benin, has today 23rd November, 2017 shut down the school over a protest carried out by the students. The protest is as a result of undue increment of fees and charges which rose up to 300%.
In a circular passed across by the PRO of the the school, Mr M.O Osasuyi, he mandated the students to vacate the school premises and the hostels before 6pm today.
This notice comes as a shock to the students as the students most especially those who live in the hostel registering their discomfort and has vowed to retaliate against the management in tomorrow's proposed convocation ceremony promising to disrupt the event.

when there is a pathological case, it is always different. I'm talking about a healthy person. Of course when a person is sick, there are alterations in the body. u should know that na. Taking enough water can't make use lose the necessary Na. When u checked the patients, did they tell u they lost sodium via intake of much water? or some other obvious causes. When a person is sick, his lifestyle is under check thus the food and fluids he/she takes. And besides how possible is it for someone to drink water to the extent he passes out the needed sodium in the body. Don't forget the hormone aldosterone which controls the Kidney ability to retain sodium when there is need. Sodium deficiency comes mostly from malnutrition, heart failure and commonly diarrhea and not cause the individual pissed everything out or there is issue in the nephron leading to kidney failure.
I believe as a physician u should know better sir. if it was possible for an healthy individual to piss away all d sodium in their Body cause they take enough water, then majority the world population will be sodium deficient.

Now, sodium moves with water and as the kidney takes out excess water from the body via the urinary tract in form of urine, sodium goes out as well. Drinking too much then will cause you to pass mire urine which means losing more sodium and if you are then not replacing the lost sodium, it can fall to dangerously low level known as hyponatraemia which can lead to nausea and vomiting, headache, short-term memory loss, confusion, lethargy, fatigue, loss of appetite, irritability, muscle weakness, spasms or cramps, seizures, and decreased consciousness or coma.

I know the renal system very well and the physiology behind it. infact I'm a physiologist. never is it stated that taking much water will make u lose more sodium via passing out of urine. instead it is d excess water u lose. U should understand the concept of reabsorption and secretion. Also I believe u know there is what we call dilute and a concentrated urine. having enough water in the body, will produce a dilute urine with more Water than electrolytes. however the reverse is the case in concentrated urine. and u don't want to pass out d electrolytes ur body needs. brother u can never understand d importance of taking enough water.

The way pastors are defending tithing ehn, u will think they are about robbing them away from their constitutional right. If the way they preach dedicatedly about tithe is the way they preach about; quality education, wealth creation, working wages, employment, racial equality, tribal equality, social and economic enhancement, justice, increased enhancement, exposure of extortion, people empowerment e.t.c then Nigeria would have been a much better place as the individuals will be different. They barely even preach love anymore. Love for those that aren't like us. They don't even preach love for Muslims folk anymore. Some will even tell u to stay away from them. Some will tell u to never have a traditionalist as friends labelling traditionalist as evil, forgetting that their fathers and fore fathers were traditionalists. All they think about is how someone who has worked hard will bring in their finances to better their (the pastors) life. If u don't pay tithe, a divine curse will be on u, like Dangote a Muslim pays tithe. Such annoying statement in a bid to cajole gullible mind into paying. Very bad and evil I must say.
Majority of the Nigerian pastors we have today are thieves and criminals who are just after the money and not necessarily after doing God's work. Things like this are the reason more youths are abandoning Christianity, cos the pastors are bad eggs.
