so recently, I got talking with my friends on love. relationships and sex. And then a nigga created a scenario and threw a question. it goes this way.

You had a virgin gf in ur university days, you both loved each other, u didn't have sex with her as u wanted to keep her virginity for her til the wedding night as she requested. Along the line, she developed feelings for someone else and pulled out of the relationship. You graduated and got wealthy enough and she starts coming back for u, realising that you were the best for her. She isn't necessarily after your money, because she was with you when u were still a student and obviously broke.
You still love her just like before and would be glad to have her back again.

Then after much talk and supposed reunion, you find out or she tells you she was no longer a virgin. Would you take her back and genuinely treat her just like you would treat your dream woman? What would be your reaction?

Even though I was born a Christian, I won't claim to be one. I've been doing a whole lot of studies on Christianity and I still can't understand the concept of it.
These are my reasons so far.



1) God creating the world in 6 days : it still doesn't make sense to me. It feels just like pure magic. It feels just like the fairy tales we watched when we were kids. I don't agree to the myth of Genesis.



2) Why God chose to partial: in as much as the Christians would argue, it is clearly evident by the Bible that God was indeed partial and actually not a just God. He chose the people of Israel amongst all. the tribe of the earth. If he is indeed the only true God and other gods being the works of men like the Christians would sing and say, how then we're the people of other religions and nations surviving being that the supposed "true God" abandoned them and cast them away from him? This surely doesn't make sense to me.



3) The wars, the genocide, and attack perpetrated by the people of Israel: It is common Knowledge that there were many wars in the Bible. Christians would say that in that time of age, there was a battle of supremacy, ok good. But then the story of Jericho is something I find really sad. The people. of Jericho was such peaceful people, they even had to build a wall over their city so nobody disturbs them. But then the city was destroyed by the children of the loving true God. what was their offense?



4)The many hoax stories: From Rod turning to snakes, to Jonah surviving in the belly of a fish, to a talking donkey, to water turning to wine, to Walking on water, to Noah's ark amongst others.



5) Elisha and the 42 children : So some little kids called Elisha bald head and the perfect response was invoking bear to eat up the children. The sad part is that some people still justify this story. how inhumane was Elisha. Just imagine, your child of 4year called TB Joshua a man with long beards and then he sends a lion to eat the child up. would u justify that? Think brother, think.



6) A woman conceiving without sexual intercourse : We all know that's not possible.



7) Paul and the church belittling women to the roles of Just listening and not saying anything: What's the difference between what buhari did and what Paul and the early church did?



The Concept of the Trinity : God the father, God the son, God the Holy Spirit. Does this mean this 3 different entities is one. In other words since Jesus died on the cross, hence God the father was the one that died too. Well, this Trinity story doesn't make sense either



9) Hellfire: So u mean to tell me our fore fathers who never heard of Jesus, are all in Hellfire? So u mean to tell me just because I had consensual sex with my gf, I am going to hell fire? So u mean all Muslims and other religions of the earth are going to hell fire too? So u mean to tell me after leaving a good life here on earth, helping the needy, not hurting anybody, because I chose not to buy the idea of Jesus, I'm going to hell? lol. Incredible.


10) And most importantly: I am a Nigerian, I'm an African. what concerns the God of The Israelites and the Gods with someone in the streets of Benin Nigeria. Those Benin and Israel share the same boundary? What happened to our local Gods, what
happened to obatala, what happened to ogun, what happened to olukun, why should I believe in a God that is unjust and chose to love just the people of Israel?


I know the Christians would tell me to seek the Holy Spirit which to me is still an illusion. Well I'm open to him. I want him to appear to me like a man and then we do a question and answer section.

getting zero is actually a mistake. it could be d fault of the system. However, I don't think God encourages cheating. tho I believe in luck and favours. Like last semester exam I wrote, I read very well for the exam, prepared as much as I could, getting to the hall I saw questions that I couldn't even understand. it was like I didn't read at all. test I didn't even do. I was certain I was going to fail. I practically cried tho tears never came out. So In the process of the exam, the person next to me made a mistake by writing in the space slated for me to write my name on the attendance sheet. I tried correcting her, but the invigilator thought maybe I was communicating with her, so he moved me to another sit. Nairalanders, omo I just had to dob the person next to me. even at that I was not yet sure. I thought I had failed still. checking the result I found out I had an Bactually. how it happened I don't know. but what I know is that, luck played it's role. from being moved from an isolated area to the place it was happening, to having B in an exam I didn't even do test.

So my people, luck works. I won't say is God, cos God doesn't encourage cheating in as much as the Christians will say, God works in mysterious ways.

Every Sunday morning, we wake up, have our bath, dress very fine and head out to Church. Our pastors goes on with the normal Sunday routine, preaching from the word of God. Most recently, the service always make it look like we are constantly in a battle against adverse forces from another world. Instilling an iota of fear in us. majority of today's service don't depicts the reality on ground. So far in this recession, I've never heard any sermon which encourages us to go back to agriculture, or that which tells us to acquire a skill so as to support with the income we normally had. Rather they tell us to pray harder, sow financial seed, putting a good amount of money in offering, ensuring we pay our tithe so that God can open the windows of heaven to pour his blessings upon us and even after all these with continuous prayers things still remains almost the same with the country further going down.
Now clearly looking, one can see, if he/she removes bias, that the present day church aren't working with reality. Now my question is this, WHAT IS STILL THE ESSENCE OF GOING TO CHURCH ?

Well, I know 2019 is still over 2 years away from now and I shouldn't be bothering much about it for now. But I just have to. it is with sadness today, I tell you that, APC will Win 2019 election. This will spark up a violent protest across the country as the vote of the people would not count. Yesterday's election here in Edo state proved to me that, everything about APC is corrupt and inhumane. APC will not allow for a free and fare election come 2019. The votes of opposition party PDP would be manipulated. The Chairman of Inec will still remain a northerner. And the northern agenda will continue. PDP is in a very weak state right now. They have lost all there big wigs. They seriously needed the victory of Edo state to rise to a reasonable strength. In Jonathan's tenure he gave room for the votes of the people to count but this APC led government would not do such. Ondo election in November will still be won by APC. I've even lost interest as it is of no use when you know there will be still mass rigging by the APC. Come 2019, buhari and his fellow northern Inec chairman will do everything to ensure they retain power. They will use the military to influence the vote as well. It's just a shame. There can only be one Jonathan who wasn't power drunk. APC are power hungry and definitely do anything to gain it. APC will remain even til 2023. Brethren we just have to pray that they field in someone Knowledgeable, and not the certificateless Buhari. let's hope someone like fashola is picked. such a sad story that the masses are meant to suffer from the stupidity of April 2015.
