Okeke hostel of University of Nigeria which has been on fire since 7pm today has not got any responds from the fire service team until now, 9:50pm. The fire service team who came previously an hour to the fire said they are in lack of water. However, on the move to go and get water, they took another two hours. What a country.....

University of Nigeria, Nsukka have taken a new look prior to Christmas celebration. The incumbent Vice Chancellor Prof. Ozumba Benjamin has put in his best to see that this year's Christmas and new year celebration is marked one of the best in the history of the university.

However, the decoration which is still ongoing has covered the areas of VC's office complex, Mary Slessor hostel, PRO building, Central roads around campus, Economics department among others.

Wow!! That is a nice one.

Meanwhile, could this be seen as an achievement since the students have clamored on his forceful imposition of laptops on all first year students on campus?

Wow! I never believed that MTN Nigeria would ever enthise me. Starting from their irritating spam messages, to their spam calls……..
MTN has devalued sms messages with their spam. Nowadays, I rather read watsapp message than sms message.
However, I was about to delete this particular sms when my mind told me to stop and read. As usual, it is from MTN. I opened it and it reads thus;
“Y’ello! Get FREE 100 minutes to call your loved ones. Simply put your other MTN SIM back in your phone and recharge it NOW to get this offer. Valid till 14”
Shuu!! I was not moved by the message. I took it as normal MTN spam. I received this message on the 4th of this May, 2015. Meanwhile, I did not delete the message shaa

On the Saturday 9th, I decided to check this out since there is no harm in trying. Afterall, if they do not give me anything, I will still use my 100 box. So I inserted my second MTN sim in my other phone and recharged N100.
#OmoSeeGobe!! When I checked my balance with *559*4#, I saw a whole sum of N2,500 with my 100 box still intact.
Wow!!!! Is this MTN? I couldn’t believe it. Since that day till now, I have been making calls like mad.
I have called almost all my contacts beginning from my nursery school friends….LOL!!
The money even counts slowly, it does not want to finish. Still remaining N1,633 as of time of posting this.
Like the biblical version, “nothing good can come out of Nazareth”. But something good later came out of it.
LOL… Is this part of the“CHANGE”we have been talking about?
