Congratulations on your successful application to the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM)!

This document outlines the necessary requirements and steps for verification and documentation at the Board and Commission Headquarters.

Verification Requirements:

To ensure a smooth verification process, please come prepared with the following documents:

Original Appointment Letter: Bring the original copy of your appointment letter issued by SUBEB or TESCOM.

Qualification Certificates: Bring original copies of your academic qualifications, including:
Primary School Testimonial
West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE) or its equivalent
National Certificate of Education (NCE) or its equivalent
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree certificate (where applicable)
Birth Certificate: Bring an original copy of your birth certificate or a sworn affidavit.
State of Origin Certificate: Bring an original copy of your state of origin certificate.
Local Government Area Identification: Bring a letter of identification from your local government area.
NYSC Discharge Certificate (where applicable): Bring an original copy of your NYSC discharge certificate.
Change of Name Affidavit (where applicable): If you have changed your name, bring a sworn affidavit.
Verification Process

Reporting Time: Arrive at the Board or Commission Headquarters on the scheduled date and time.

Registration: Register your presence with the designated officer.
Verification of

Documents: Submit your original documents for verification.
Biometric Capture: Undergo biometric capture (fingerprinting).
Photography: Have your passport photograph taken.
Documentation Requirements
After verification, you will be required to submit the following documents:

Completed Documentation Form: Fill out the documentation form provided by the Board or Commission.
Photocopies of Verified Documents: Submit photocopies of your verified documents.

Medical Certificate:

Bring a medical certificate of fitness from a government-approved hospital.

Additional Requirements
Submission of Surety Form:

Submit a surety form, which must be signed by a reputable guarantor.

Important Notes
Punctuality:
Arrive on time to avoid delays.
Dress Code: Dress formally and modestly.
Original Documents: Bring original documents, as photocopies will not be accepted.

Avoid Proxies: Do not send proxies or representatives, as you must appear in person.

OYO TESCOM RECRUITMENT
The next step for the Oyo State Post Primary Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) 2024 recruitment is to check the government's portal for the list of qualified applicants. The list was released on Monday, November 25, 2024, on the state portal at tescom.jonportal.oyostate.gov.ng. Applicants should check the portal regularly for updates.
Successful teaching applicants and 80 caregivers will undergo a verification exercise at the Board's headquarters. The dates for the verification exercise and other relevant information will be made available to the successful candidates in due course.
