Bola Ahmed Tinubu has crossed all political Ts and dotted all strategic "I"s required to win an election. He has consolidated State power through conversion of governors, installation of cronies in key election machinery positions, and elimination of loopholes opposition can take advantage of.

However just like a business SWOT analysis where you can control weaknesses but not Threats, the Iran-US war will prove to be the major decider of the coming elections. The Iran war has resulted in a paradox, the government is cashing in on oil revenue due to the closing of the strait but the people are suffering due to rising inflation creating a huge chasm between the economic position of the government and the realities of the people. That is to say, the people are suffering but the government installed to govern them is enjoying massively. More so, the fact that some superpowers such as the US itself, China and Russia are greatly profiting from the war has reduced the chances of this war coming to an end quickly inorder to restore normalcy. With the way world economy is going, and the fact that Nigeria has nothing to fall back on, the situation will likely escalate to the point where hardship will be so severe that the people will revolt right around the election circle. This will be the final nail in the coffin.

Just drove past the NDC office in Lafia, Nasarawa state. The premises is choked full of cars and people after 10pm this night. This is a party I'm not even sure had an office in Lafia few weeks back. I'll not be surprised if aggrieved aspirants from the APC port massively to the party.

If APC cannot even conduct primaries without rigging, is there anyone who believes they'll be able to partake in the general elections without massive rigging as well?

APC is the only party that is conducting true primary. Haven't you heard senators, reps and anointed candidates losing. Have you heard what happened in Kwara State governorship primary within twenty four hours? For almost two weeks now the entire nation is focused on APC primaries.

Have you been hearing anything like serious political primary in other parties? Obi can't survive in this level of competition. Are you aware that one unknown aspirant bought presidential form and refused consensus? Because of him APC will conduct presidential primary from ward, local government and state in all the 36 states to elect their presidential candidate. Can you hear that? Can you compare this to baby primaries of ADC and NDC?

We’ve never witnessed primaries this chaotic in the history of Nasarawa State. The growing culture of impunity is dangerous , when leaders believe institutions and the judiciary can be bent without consequences, democracy suffers and the people lose faith. Sad times. Governors have grown balls to rig anyhow because the president clearly support corrupt practices

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, on Tuesday declared that politicians would only find God and solace in the All Progressives Congress (APC).



Alia made the remark while speaking at the distribution of food items for Christmas and New Year celebrations organised by the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, in Kaduna.



According to Alia, the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly informed him during the budget presentation in Makurdi that six of the remaining Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members in the assembly were already in the APC “in spirit” and that their full defection to the party would soon be celebrated.



"The APC is where you can find God. You can only find solace in the All Progressives Congress,” Governor Alia declared.
APC has 2027 elections in the bag courtesy of well meaning Nigerians decisions so statements like this are on point. I wonder what Christains make of this statement by the governor.

The citizens brought that to themselves. Nigerians are big time cowards that shy away from the glaring truth. Everybody is catching cruise while suffering and smiling, forgetting the main issue to be tackled.
Nigeria can never move forward cus we have different people from different backgrounds with different poor reasoning. Everybody just bark like wild dogs on social media, but runs inside when it's time to take action.
Nigerians will rather beg 100 100 naira from all moving vehicles or SM platforms (you can even see them doing that in this thread) rather fight the issue and people that made them poor.

Now tell me why the government won't take the citizens as nobody.

But it is funny and lame how someone is complaining of how university authority is cheating students and some of NLers here are blaming him for not living off campus. It the same attitude with interrogating government on their policies. Some will raise an issue against the government, other people will either trivialise it or derail it with useless remarks.
