While it is a sad trend, light skinned girls have always had the upper hand on the general preference scale. This has always held true for black populations in any part of the planet.

It is surely true, there has been small media efforts to promote dark skinned women e.g focusing on the likes of Lupita Nyongo.
But men and women you should beware of why people prefer light skinned women (not all people), it has stemmed from British colonisation, USA becoming the largest media globally, thus we watch many of their films and actors.
Furthermore the oppression of blacks from the slave trade has made blacks perceive lighter skinned people as better and themselves less. The media also shapes our ideals of beauty. BUT BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER.

Yes men have a greater sex drive. HOWEVER the mindset of men / boys within the Patriarchal society of Nigeria, means that males grow up thinking they are somewhat more intelligent and on a higher level than that of females.
Women in many cultures across the world place emphasis on a woman's appearance as her ultimate worth. A combination of this and many other factors cultivate a sense of excuse for men to cheat and to have a derogatory attitude towards women, especially in a sexual manner. These things are subtle and people seem to think it has to be obvious, but these are the underlying vibes in society sadly.

Haul, I can't even respond to your comment. Just start from scratch and get a thorough education, your emphasis should be respect foremost. I can't even debate with someone with your primitive and sexist mindset.
