The way Osho dey talk plenty while a supposed loyal party man... Are things falling apart due to a faulty center? Abi as him spoon no reach pot again, him wan scatter di table kpatakpata? Just thinking aloud |
Goodevening Team Mayorall, Let me begin by appreciating the offer because its bound to better the lives of 4 nairalanders (hopefully i get to be one of them). To your core question of how i intend to use the laptop if selected, i just have a simple answer. It will help me resume and complete my 3MTT training on Data Analysis and Visualization which i had to abandon because of lack of a good laptop. The system specifications required for some of the software that is required were beyond reach of my current HP Compaq 6730b. If this is achieved, it would mean one person less from the dependency quota and this would as well provide me with better opportunities than i currently see to make a living and contribute meaningfully to my society. Please find attached screenshots of my 3MTT page for your kind perusal. Thanks once again Manduwem M. Udom mayorall:

My only layman observation is that... I hope this promotion is not with the 2027 elections in focus (my opinion entirely)... Because now that lots of our elections cases terminate at the appeal courts, the nature of jurors there is now of grave importance |
While this is true, A question remains - as a coequal arm of government, why is it that it's another arm that's now building for them? They should have a part in the yearly budget covering their matter (as is done in developed societies we copied our democracy from). That indeed maintains the independency of the judiciary arm (because wether we believe it or not, he who plays the piper dictates it's tune) Richtaiwo: |
And it happened exactly as you called it... The rest they say is history patrickcollins: |
Hmmmm the lacuna of the unforeseen is what is playing out, but i think the courts should be the one to settle it since the explusion aspect wasn't captured in the constitution (yes many may interpret that since the constitution says you are not eligible if you dont have a party...that it also means if you got elected and become party-less you're disqualified. i think this is where the courts come in as the valid interpreters of the law -my opinion entirely). On a lighter note, Senator Karimi Sunday (Kogi West) – (Formerly APC) also defected and his letter was read alongside all others. Is there division in the APC? |
I hope the whole effort pays off on election day... Cuz 9ja election dey pass game of thrones |
Hmmmmm i fear more... not for the justification this ruling has given the past action, but for the precedent it has set for successive governments (all will be down to the discretion of the 001) |
SpencerForbes:Exactly, I live in calabar and I've known it for years as Eto Fig. Even my BSc project in Biochemistry department of Unical was on jackfruit so its a common fruit in this area and its grown here. (But it has a smell when fully ripe most people say is pungent) |
I sha missed this. But Thanks for the nice gesture |
Next move is simple. Kill the snake, take d money, Sell the dead snake and get extra money. That's a double blessing |
Nice one, proudly Naija. but the sound engineer of the event forgot to reduce Timi's volume during the chorus... He's a lot older than when he first sang that song and his real voice was over strained to meet up the pitch |
kossyablaze:I hope to be one |
Odua4life:All these are nice innovations but I always wonder just one thing when I admire the pictures attached, do we have roads for such low carriage abi they will make different models for different parts of the country (cuz if this bus enter Calabar itu road... Na scrap yard e go end up) |
Judolisco:The first two lines summaries the situation. But it's my opinion that why all this back and forth exist is because if they are permitted to build dams on the River Niger, it will affect the amount of water coming to our dam and this will inturn affect what our turbines can generate. |
Hmmmmm please o, make DANA leave rough play o. The memories are still evergreen |
richiemcgold:Same thoughts I've been pondering on with the way it takes a new twist each day |
If you don't have a very thick liver, don't engage in long distance relationship. The way your BP can be rising any how will be like magic (My personal opinion tho) |
I'm always surprised at what's priority for the government... |
Atarakpa:Great response. |
abuhusna1:Chai this one strong o. Thank God say the guy no dey NL else him for cry blood this night with this comment |
Well as one who suffered that just last December I can relate with how he's feeling. Good enough my family rallied around for me because it almost got to a point I wanted to call everything off as other families in the place even frowned at how they took advantage of me since I'm not from their place (although I'm from a neighbouring state). My own shege started from introduction/first visit of my family to theirs and my inlaws insisted I must cook for the visit. My advice OP is that you continue to be a good wife to him, support him as much as you can, most importantly when you're hurt or angry please don't rush to say anything because it'll bring up this extortion again (and yes it's extortion). With time the pain will ebb and he'll rather see it as a worthwhile suffering he underwent for a good wife. P.s. my wife is now maintaining a healthy distance from her family (call me harsh but it's the condition I stipulated before paying all their pages of marriage lists). So your husband deserves kudos for not doing same to you. |
Well whichever side Gov Otu leans to may end up having a upper hand in the tussle. |
