A Yemeni hacking group announced that it has hacked the website, servers and archives of Saudi Arabia’s Foreign, Interior and Defense ministries and released thousands of top secret documents from the identity and contact addresses of the country’s spies to the most confidential correspondence of Riyadh officials in the last several decades.
“We have gained access to the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) network and have full control over more than 3000 computers and servers, and thousands of users. We also have access to the emails, personal and secret information of hundreds of thousands of their staff and diplomats in different missions around the world,” the Yemen Cyber Army said in a statement carried by several globally known hacking news websites.

A plan to speed up international efforts on asset recovery has been announced by the UK Prime Minister David Cameron at the Anti-Corruption Summit held at Lancaster House, London.

The Global Forum for Asset Recovery will bring together governments and law enforcement agencies to discuss returning assets to Nigeria, Ukraine, Sri Lanka and Tunisia.

Foreign firms that own property in the UK must also declare their assets publicly in a bid to stamp out money-laundering, the government says.
The meeting will be held in the US next year, co-hosted with the UK, and supported by the UN and the World Bank.

Mr Cameron’s plans for a register of foreign companies owning UK property would include those who already owned property in the UK as well as those seeking to buy.

Downing Street said the register would mean “corrupt individuals and countries will no longer be able to move, launder and hide illicit funds through London’s property market, and will not benefit from our public funds”.

It said foreign companies owned about 100,000 properties in England and Wales and that more than 44,000 of these were in London.

David Cameron said cracking down on corruption was needed to “tackle extremism,” adding that people in developing countries wanted justice as much as they wanted clean water and health care. John Kerry, US secretary of State, agreed that corruption fed drug and human trafficking as well as terrorism.

He is Ummaru Yalli by name, well over 6 feet tall and well built.
He was last seen at Rafin Atiku area, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State where he left his car in front of his shop yesterday morning 3rd of May 2016 and mounted a commercial bike (okada) then headed towards Haliru Abdu area not to be seen as of time of writing. All efforts to trace him have proven abortive. Please help spread this news as much as you can. Anyone with any information should contact the nearest security operatives or relatives.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has recovered jewellery worth over £2 million (N593 million) from former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke and the wife of Mr Jide Omokore, an ally of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
A top EFCC official told Daily Trust yesterday that the anti-graft agency also recovered a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment valued at N2.6billion from a Lagos hospital said to be owned by former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu.
He said several other property were also recovered from the former oil minister, including a wrist watch valued at £600, 000 (N185 million).
Diezani is facing various graft allegations, including the “missing” $20 billion oil money, among other deals executed by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

The Federal Government has completed plans to begin mass housing units in all the six geo-political zones of the country.A director in the Ministry of Works and Housing, Arch. Sani Gidado, who represented the minister,Babatunde Fashola, said the projects which were designed to suit the locations of the zones, would commence as soon as the 2016 budget is passed into law.

He said previous mass housing projects in the country were carried out without considering the environment and locations, and for over 16 years, government stopped financing housing directly, but the present government had reversed the trend.
Arch. Ikenna Ekeredu, a representative of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mohammed Bello, said out of the 17 million housing units being proposed, about eight million units would be built in the FCT.
