If you're the one would you mention? True or not true, the best is not to mention it.
On a more serious note, let's allow him to work and leave all this unnecessary distractions and animosity. Judiciary is there to do its work. Try an contribute your part towards a better Nigeria.

Our boys were slower to react.
The Brazilian were encouraged to be little more aggressive by the ref.
Overall we played well. We were just unlucky from the start. If we had scored that first goal, the story would have been different.

Tunisia and Uruguay are playing each other. This means that no one can make up to 6 points anymore in 3rd place. So Nigeria is confirmed the first placed best loser.

Does it mean we're playing Argentina?

No. Who we will meet btw USA and Argentina depends on which 4 team finish as best 3rd placed teams.

Which of the tommorow's game does it depend on?

How exactly is it determined?

3rd placed teams are ranked from 1st to 6th.
Matches has concluded in 3 groups, remaining 3 groups. The permutations at this time is that we can only meet team in A or B. The remaining teams that qualified will determine which of those 2 we are meeting.

You can check it out in attached image from Wikipedia. Green denotes possible permutations.

What if Brazil beat us and Italy beat Dominican Republic? All 3 would be on 6 points. Italy beat Brazil, Nigeria beat Italy, Brazil beat us.

In any case, goal difference is what would be used in this tournament. So if above happens, it will be
Brazil, then Nigeria or Italy in second depending on goal difference.

This isn't exactly accurate though. What the EPL does better than the others is grandstand and posture, but when it comes to addressing racism they are all the same. Isn't it the same England that Saka and 2 others were subjected to racist abuse after that euros penalty misses?

The EPL has learnt from the USA playbook;
Just kneel before every match, wear special wrist bands, donate to causes that "fight racism" etc. The most important thing is that you be seen as an ally.

Sadly, we can only learn to manage these things, racism isn't going anywhere. It's hate plain and simple and It is innate to the fallen man. It disguises itself in different shades and nomenclature but borne of the same source. It's called tribalism in African parlance but racism abroad. We saw it in our elections just a few months ago. It rares it's ugly head on this platforms too from time to time.

I wish there was a legislative solution to this, but you can't legislate love into people's heart.

Acidosis:
NTA is such a stupid organisation for believing that they can run 37 stations in a single country. The multiplicity of NTA in nearly all the states of Nigeria is why the station will NEVER grow beyond the state of mediocrity and eternal backwardness.

For NTA to function optimally, all 36 base stations must be scrapped, but Abuja's (headquarter) station must be retained and upgraded. NTA is probably the only television channel in the world with 37 offices in one single country. CNN or Al Jazeera has never at any time attempted such a high degree of quota system stup!d!Ty.

The days of establishing several stations to boost viewership are long gone. We have outlived the era of antennas but I bet many Nigerian leaders are too senseless to evolve. Why do we still need NTA Lagos, NTA Lokoja, NTA Ibadan, NTA Benin, etc. in this age of internet, dstv, gotv? Why?

At this point, it is a complete waste of time praying for a sick country. I hope their buildings continue to collapse until they stop wasting the resources of this country on mediocrity. Channels tv has only two physical stations/offices (Lagos and Abuja) but they get more weekly views than NTA's 37 offices will ever get in 50 years!

Lolz. There was plan few years ago to establish one in each senatorial district.

Else, what killed Ajaokuta Town, Oku Iboku?

Deve contributed but wasn't the sole reason the town fell. Policies by FG is largely responsible. Or should we say that the death of textile industries in Kaduna was caused by Deve too?
PH has same issue yet is not dead.
The death of the the port, DSC and adjourning companies, rubber plantations, etc as well as neglect by state is partly responsibl.

You could have added your own advice without taking a jab at him. He hasnt said anything extremely out of order. Everyone here is a student of Alternative/renewable energy. Even Our Ogas here still learn to get better daily. And 5kva is huge, it can comfortably power 2 1hp inverter ACs. You don't need humongous, power hungry inverters to power basic household load.

5kw inverter without reducing the loads? Are you assuming that the entire 5kw is available for use perpetually? Even the odogwu in this place hardly do 70% sustained load on their inverter.

At startup, 2 1hp inverter AC is about 2200W, except in gen mode. Can ensure that they are always in gen mode? I doubt. If all 6 ACs are connected, how sure are you that not more that two is ON at the same time?
He mentioned fload lights of 400 * 6 = 2400W. He mentioned water pump (if its 0.5hp that's about 600w in real life). He mentioned fridge and freezer (about 300W). The fridge and freezer needs 3x to 5x starting power headroom for about 3 to 10seconds.
This is excluding other lights, television, fan, and other minor stuff.

Is there a possibility that the inverter will see greater than 5kw for extended period of time? YES
Will the owner be there to to ensure above doesn't happen at all times? NO

Painting the correct picture to the person who asked the question, will help in managing expectations and in avoiding regret.

I thought its based on points not goals scored.

Yes points first then goal difference for 3rd place teams. Their matches against 4th place team won't count since group C has only 3 teams.

South Africa thus has 0 points and -3 goal difference in ranking of 3rd place teams.

If Burkina Faso vs Cameroon ends in a draw, South Africa will be out. Their win against Zambia won't count.

solonnachi:

It means South Africa faces Senegal in quarter final and Nigeria faces the second placed team
in Group C between Burkina Faso & Cameroon who are playing tomorrow. I think Burkina may win.

Quarter finals
Senegal v South Africa
Morocco v Algeria
Mali v Congo
Nigeria v Burkina Faso/Cameroon

You seems calm so I think we can engage in an intellectual conversation, what makes you think or how was Peter obi rigged out?

Except you're not in Nigeria. How, rigging is done in election is common knowledge. I can't tell who won or who would have won, but all I can say is that the election wasn't free nor fair.
Ways election are rigged:
1) late arrival of material in stronghold of opposition. By the time material arrives, most people would have given up. He who controls logistics controls this and some parties with structures on ground have some of these companies as their allies.
2) alteration of figures and replacement of ballot papers.Upload of result at polling unit was to checkmate this.
3) issuance of fake result sheet and replacement with original result sheet elsewhere. Upload at polling unit would have thwarted this to an extent.
4) disruption of counting in units that is not favourable.
5) threat and intimidation to scare away opposition voters. Blame goes to security agencies for this. The ratio of police to citizen is to low for any meaningful progress here. Poor renumeration and collusion too is a problem.
6) financial inducement of voters, and electoral umpire and security personnels. Too much poverty in the land made so many to take irrational decision. If you look at the stats, Obi won in cities excluding the core north where he couldn't penetrate.
Etc

The parties that were guilty of the above were in this order APC > PDP > LP > NNPP.

My response may come a day after as I'm not always here 247. But I'll surely respond.
Again, these are just my thought and may be prone to personal bias.

In as much as I'm pained that Obi was rigged out, Datti's comment was democratically wrong.

1) he adjudicated th function of supreme court to himself. For a case already in court, he didn't need to say what he said. Moreso he's a party to the case.

2) asking that tinubu should not be sworn is wrong. What happens after May 29 if he's not sworn in? Wait for judiciary to decide let's see if they are enemy of the people like INEC.

3) I also feels, the interviewer on channels should have called him to order. Datti's outburst was out of pain and is understandable cos the prices wasn't fair.

4) APC as a party thrives on propaganda and intimidation. What has treason got to do with this? I have seen to my dismay, how they plant series of articles in national dailies to give legitimacy to the selection they did in conjunction with INEC.

Is that how abnormal politics has turned some of our Nigerian youths into?
Or have they always been this stupid?

No sane human being would support this daylight rigging with compelling evidences irrespective of political affiliation.

If what you post is correct, there's no point hiding the identity of the person. Robbers should be exposed or shamed. That way, their parents or religious leaders can caution them.

Democracy is just a waste of time in Nigeria.
After waiting time to vote, few people would just change the result. If that is difficult, they'll pay poor people peanut to vote them. If that's difficult, they will hire thugs to disrupt the process in areas they are likely to loose.

To achieve the above, once they enter power, they steal enough money so that they can game it in the next round. Their families live in affluence while the people who run the show for them wait for 4 yrs to collect another peanut.

I knew this fake news would eventually find its way to Nairaland.
1. I scoured the internet for the offending video that dumbo (the people ridiculing jesus), was talking about. Turned out it was a play about the crucifixion of Jesus. *And it wasn't in a carnival. And not just that, or happened on March, 2019, 4 odd years ago.*
2. The person acting as devil is still alive and kicking(as of today 13/03/2023)
3. Even if the story was true, why would Yahweh be mad in a play that is made with unreal forks, when there are many movies of Jesus taunted and abused. Flogged, thrashed etc.
Besides, didn't it happen in the bible. Weren't they re playing what was written there?
Logical reasoning is huge problem for folks. The way people avoid it makes it look like its illegal
4. Why would Yahweh also be mad when Africans do more 'devil' worship with al sorts of gods etc

I realized christianity (and religion as a whole) don't give a Bleep about reality or truth, but as eveidenced by the sheer number of Whatsapp forwards, and viewership of this video on Tiktok, Youtube, the sheer number of cretards is mind-boggling. No one bothered to verify the video or events. Just swallow whatever you're fed, hook, line and sinker, by people that want to perpetuate the lie called religion

The funny thing is that the video was made up of typhoon images from other countries.

Religious people always looking for vague validation.
