Ofcourse Obidents like living on lies. I have mentioned Soludo's sources severally and yet you keep asking for the same thing. Is it illiteracy? Again this is soludo source https://www.nigerianstat.gov.ng/pdfuploads/Nigeria%20Poverty%20Profile%202010.pdf
Please can you post the link for the one of Obiano that is lower let me see and compare. This is because almost all the states are at par on this data, thus not a good indices of performance or effectiveness.
Also, if Soludo knew this why did he say he begged Obi to come and contest for president under APGA? Why would he beg a poor performer to contest under his party?
In same write up Soludo said he was begging Obi to come and contest for presidency under APGA. The question is why would Soludo beg a failure to come and contest in his party? Soludo is pained that his party lost him to another party. That's the summary of all the rambling.
Na wa o. So who do we trust again in this country. Buy from a Nigerian online, he'll send the worst goods to you or he'll inflate the price if he suspects you don't know the price. We are very very greedy and cunny.
I'm not going to get into silly name calling with you. That will be beneath me.
A boy of 19 is a man. He is a qualified installer. Maybe you think that people need to be 100 before they can become an installer. By the way, how did you know his age?
Yes, you apparently wanted to scam me. Thank God I sent someone who knew what to do.
Please deny any of these facts.
1. You advertised the inverter for sale. No indication that anything was wrong with it.
2. I dropped my number and asked you to contact me.
3. You called me to negotiate the sale. We negotiated 450k.
4. During the call and several other calls thereafter, you never mentioned that anything was wrong with the inverter.
5. You actually told me that you used it only for about a month.
6. I asked you to tell me when you will be available. You said from Tuesday.
7. On Tuesday morning, I called you to confirm if you are available. You said yes.
8. Just before the guy set out I called you to ask for the address. You gave it to me.
9. At no time during all these interactions did you mention that the inverter was not working.
10. It was only when the guy asked to test the inverter that you started telling him stories.
11. When he called to tell me, I called you back to confirm and you said you needed to replace one board and fix the display. You then asked if I wanted all these fixed and that you will not take 450k anymore, but 500k once you fixed it up.
12. Having seen that you are not reliable, I asked the guy to leave the place immediately. I was even scared you may harm him. I waited until he was on his way back to Ibadan before I shared my experience here.
Finally, I shared my experience simply to warn others who may make the same mistake I almost made. I thought that you are a honest person and you posed no threat of fraud. I was going to send my younger brother with no knowledge of inverter to come and pick it up. I suspect that you would have just packed the damaged inverter for him to bring for me.
I will refrain from responding to other needless comments you made. You clearly intended to dupe me, otherwise, you had many opportunities to come clean about the state of the inverter.
If you had intended to repair it before giving it to me, you wouldn't have allowed me to send someone from Ibadan only to start telling him stories. You wouldn't have also changed the price when you offered to repair it.
I hope that I have created enough awareness for anyone hoping to buy this or any other thing from you; they must shine their eyes.
I did not want to derail the thread. My earlier post was a subtle cry out for help.
...... I was trying to get a new freezer as replacement for the 'kaput' one. I decided to first go to the mall to get a few things and also use the opportunity to look at some freezers in a store that sells many brands. A particular one caught my attention. Same size as the one I want but everything about it looks substandard. It had a Chinese name at the front which I did not even bother to note. I proceeded to the thermocool showroom which was just five minutes drive to the mall. I went to where they have standing freezer and to my astonishment, I saw exactly the same freezer I was looking at few minutes ago with haier thermocool logo in front. That was when I realized that our much beloved brand is far gone.
Funny enough, the one I bought fifteen years ago is still working like new and has never been touched by any repair man
How Anambra State that was always featured as one of the states with highest number of out of school children in early 2000s rise to become the states with the best brains in the country is my number one reason for supporting PO. That is vision. When I look at unity school exams results the first thing that comes to my mind is his name.
Look at the Indians and Chinese today, it's education with good leadership that transformed those countries not building of stadiums. Education comes first before infrastructure.
Sorry if you didn't see someone to answer you, I am here now to answer. Here are the few things that Frugal Peter Obi did for the good people of Anambra. I think this will give you rest of mind and compare notes with the one you're supporting, that didn't build a single bridge for his 8 years as a governor. Peter Obi built from scratch to finish the following and many.
1. Peter Obi built from scratch Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Amaku, Akwa with 25 building structures. 2. Revenue House Awka 3. Judiciary quarters Onitsha 4. Government Lodge Onitsha 5. 2nd Onitsha business Park 6. Anambra state fire service headquarters Akwa 7. State Secretariat in Awka 8. Rebuilt and expanded head bridge, Upper Iweka Road, Onitsha, to ten lanes. 9. Six pedestal bridges in Anambra, three before Headbridge, one at MCC Onitsha, one at Nkpor and last located in Unizik Awka 10. Awka sub station was built under Peter Obi 11. First open heart hospital in South-east was built by Peter Obi 12. Peter Obi revamped Harbour industrial layout Onitsha which is now the biggest industrial estate in South-east, under Obi's administration many industries were established like, Innoson vehicle manufacturing, Sab Miller, Tiger Food, Orenge drugs, Ekulu group, Eastern Distilleries, Juhel Pharmaceutical company, Activa 13. Onitsha business Park 1 was established, the business Park houses Nigeria stock exchange, banks, tax office, licensing office, restaurant 14. Agulu Lake hotel with access roads and two bridges was built by Peter Obi, the hotel was built for tourism 15. In order to promote reading culture in the state, he erected and adequately equipped Prof. Kenneth Dike Digital Modern Library, Awka. He also rehabilitated the Divisional Library, Onitsha. 16. Onitsha shopping mall was built under Peter Obi 17. Peter Obi reconstructed old Enugu/Onitsha Road from Awka to Onitsha and Zik's avenue Awka which is still standing today without pothole 18. Formed and funded state Vigilante and distributed to them 250 vehicles 19. Peter Obi distributed 500 school buses to all the secondary schools in Anambra 20. Accreditation of 12 Health Institutions, among are: Iyiemu Hospital, Ogidi Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Ihiala Holy Rosary Waterside, Onitsha Saint Joseph Hospital, Adazi-Nnukwu Also built different Health Care and Maternal Centres across the state. 21. He was the first governor to purchase medical equipment of about 135 million and 50 life ambulances to some hospitals. All still functioning till date. 22. Anambra was the first state in Nigeria to distribute 30,000 computers and 32,500 HP Computers at different times. 23. He donated 3M and 444M naira to Anglican and Roman Catholic Churches respectfully to rehabilitate their schools. Considering their needs at that time. 24. He gave 1M each to Anambra First Class Graduates in all Nigerian Universities. Before his tenure was over 160 Anambrans were beneficiaries. 25. He gave 500 thousand naira to each secondary schools in the state to provide library materials and books to their library. This revolution tremendously boost the performance of students, as the state went from 26th position out of the 36 states in the federation to 1st position in the federation. 26. He gave one security vehicle to each of the 177 communities in Anambra. This in turn improved the security situation in Anambra tremendously. 27. He cleared pension and gratuity owed since 1991 by paying the beneficiaries a whooping sum of 37B. 28. He gave monthly #10k stipend to any Anambran above 80 years of age. 29. Adopted the best practice in waste management disposal by providing over 300B worth of Waste Evacuation Trucks. 39. In 2015 Anambra was adjudged as the least indebted state in the federation by Debt Management Office. This was due to his judicious use of resources coming to the state and not put burden on the unborn Anambra people.
You may not be satisfied, here below is the video for your digest.
Here again is his exploit in security during his tenure and what the IGP has to say about Anambra state because of his dutifulness to help to combat insecurity during his time.
You are not incorrect about cable gauges & transient voltages but there are so many factors to consider in the matter of surge protection.
I have reproduced below key portions of my original response to the OP - the binding constraint is that the SPD installation was not part of original design so except for redoing the whole main panel, 50cm or 1meter rules required by the various standards would be hard to achieve - thus the reco was use the SPDs in a tiered fashion.
About cable gauges, see attached an excerpt from the resource you shared on minimum conductor sizing for limiting voltage rise and short circuit current withstand
The minimum conductor size is so that it can withstand short circuit current and is not intended to limit the voltage the protected device sees if surge occurs.
Your original recommendation for upsizing cable was to offer protection (not for short circuit protection).
NiyiOmoIyunade: Perhaps you should upsize your cabling between the SPD and main panel to counter the extra length - it would have been easy to put the SPDs close by if you had planned for it from the get go.
Do you have the MCOV and Clamp Voltage rating for the TOMZNs? This will give you an idea what level of protection they promise and you can then test using a high voltage generator (such as used for electric fences) whether the SPD is clamping any voltage at all.
The Midnite SPDs are rated for Type 1 and 2 usage I think.
Upsizing cable does not offer any advantage when it comes to transient voltage (lightening). The key is to ensure that cable length is short. Like in the diagram below L1+L2+L3 should be less than 50cm.
To achieve above, SPD should be close to load branches in the DB, the earth wire between the SPD and the DB should be very short, free of other wires and not coiled (should be straight).
If the above is not possible, he should opt for type 3 SPD at the point the device is located..
I want to warn members and the general public from buying from energymall.ng especially solar panels. [img][/img] I bought 4 units of 350w solar panels at 77,000 each for a total of N308,000. They showed me the original Felicity panel as sample and then shipped me fake 180w panels. I hope those panels are up to 180 sef.
Find picture of said fake panel nameplate below. All effort to reach them after has proven abortive.
It’s difficult doing business in Nigeria if people are looking to rip you off at any chance that they get. If only someone had posted their experience online, I wouldn’t have fallen victim.
Please do not buy from energymall.ng they will scam you
Mind you, the population of Dubai according to Dubai Statistics Center is 3,518,352 people. Even with the popularity and exquisiteness of Dubai, coupled with the investments and opportunities that exist, its residential population hasn't yet hit the 5 million mark. So the question is where will the 5 million people come from?
Dubai is a city in UAE. Saudi Arabia is a different country.
In your church mind, please be truthful. If you are one of the domestic worker of the two candidates and you were ask to vote for one person and if he becomes the president, you will work as a staff to that person either as driver, p.a, cook etc with your given analysis, who will you vote.
Do you think that the domestic staff of Peter Obi will be happy with him hearing the benefits enjoyed by jagaban's domestic worker. My brother, use your head
This is the problem with Nigerians and Africans in general. They only think of what they will benefit directly instead of the larger society. By your post you admit that one is good but is not liberal in doling out cash.
After earning so much, a greater part of that salary will be spent in sending your kids to private school, providing electricity via generators, enduring the noise of the generator, sibking your borehole, providing for your security etc. Added, those whose children cannot be the driver, cook etc would end up kidnapping you and you'll pay more if they don't kill you.
Why can't we pursue public good instead?
Edit: Peter Obi is not stingy but prudent. He pays his workers well. I understand you want someone who will steal billions and then share 1% of it.
PetroDolla2020: RUBBISH. You sound like an illiterate! 20 million nigerian children are out of school. even the ones in school don't even have good teachers. no wonder most nigerian university graduates can't even write good english how far with ASUU strike? [s][/s]
Away from soccer, Ghana's budget is comparatively better in all ramifications. Better per capita spending, better education allocation ratio.
Have you like me personally try to make a rechargeable battery with locally found materials here in Nigeria before? Have you?
When I Mr Dare DIAMOND C.E.O Thin Air Powers® is talking, It is out of practical experiences from series of research I have immersed myself into. Go do your practicals and surprising discoveries would be yours. NO BRAGGING HERE PLEASE...
brightk: if ur pv rated @ 190w de produce 130w .. its fair to me.. not my own rate 300w de produce 110... like u said na to bring am come down... but my guy u know how all this 300w panel de heavy to carry....
If it wasnt like this when it was new, its possible a diode in the junction box is open.
That's how some people claim ITK everywhere. I saw an approximately 4m setup someone with conscience installed for my boss and I weep. The offs in the setup: 1) west and east facing panels (16 in all) combined into one CC. The CC is a mediocre type. 2) tiny wires from CC to battery 3) no breaker or protective device between solar and CC 4) no breaker or protective device between CC and battery 5) no SPD 6) wire from battery to a 5KVA inverter 6mm2 wire 7) no breaker or disconnect between inverter and battery the inverter is the type with huge self consumption.
If someone mistakenly, plug a high power device, the cable from inverter to battery will just melt.
What I don't know is if it's a case of lack of knowledge or greed on the part of the installer. If it's the later, then we have a long way to go in our society. If it's the former, why would someone take up a job he's not qualified to do?
You spend so much money and what you get is a time bomb.
Is that why a 48v 200ah bank(10kw) should cost 1.2 million Naira? Meritsun 48v 200ah cost $1500 or 850k on alibaba. Is your battery better than meritsun?
