Odidigboigbo: Another angle is where he said he was given a loan of 500k in a company that he has not spent up to 3 months, where his salary is less 50k. How is that possible? You all should be reading with understanding. He collected a loan of N500k where he earned 84k per/months. |

iHart: Interesting,...
When we see fiction we know.
You are a tailor consultant. You collect money, buy materials and give tailors to sew. You pay the tailor his labour and cash out. Now you got a contract of #2M, with a down payment of 800k. You forgot to buy materials, send to the tailor and pay for his labour as usual. You just wired the whole advance payment to him? You no even cut anything from it. OK, no problem. You then used 500k to salvage the problem and didn't get your balance of 1.2M. That is to say, you used 500k to deliver a job of #2M. My question now is: if 500k could have delivered the job, why pay 800k to the tailor? He did not mention he delivered the job 100%. He used his 500k to deliver the first batch and never mentioned he delivered 100% job. He was only expecting to collect a balance of #1.2m to complete the job and deliver the rest of the clothes but due to the bridge of contracts, the man did not believe in him anymore and decided not to balance him. If I were the man I would do the same. So cut the OP some slack. I enjoy his story and I learned some lessons as well. |

lecoeur: So I met this guy on telegram and we got going, he introduced me to one group like that where he sells Fake logs and said I should work with him. I do chat him up frequently and just yesterday he came requesting for my account details that he wants to bless me. I'm a student, really broke in fact I haven't eaten properly for like 2 days straight honestly (Crypto did me sh*t) so I didn't hesitate in sending my details, shortly I got credit alert of #14k. I informed him of the alert and he told me to give him any amount I wish to give him out of the money, at this point I became confused and was like how I just blocked him immediately and deleted our chat, right now I feel bad cos obviously he's a scammer and truly I pity the person that may have been scammed as I've been overthinking considering the trauma this person may be going through. Is there anything I can do? I haven't taken anything out of the money yet.
Modified.... I went to the bank and they keep telling me to come back, I will be going with my uncle hopefully on Monday. Thanks everyone for your contributions, I'll update once everything is sorted out. If I get you correctly, you want to carry your uncle to the bank to withdraw 14k. Is it in Pounds Sterling or in Dollars. Funny actually |

Eauxclaires: On the contrary, Ladies I have seen that people really like (both men and women) weren't extremely beautiful. They were just in between. I would like to tag them as attractive The beautiful ones that from after looked very pretty...when you finally have continuous contact with them you discover they were just 'meh'..They are very beautiful but nothing else to keep your attention The ones I discovered usually had men around them were even average..and these men seem to genuinely like them. Though I discovered these ladies were nice, relatively selfless. Character seeks a lot. Beautiful or ugly, every human being is drawn to each other by the character. The reason why the not too beautiful ladies are being chosen by men is because of their good character and being cultured. Character and attitude towards people generally will determine what you attract. Beauty attract attention first but does not determine acceptance. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Which Should I Choose? by mankind9(m): 2:00am On Apr 14, 2021 |
Slimslimqq: Good afternoon house,
I need the opinions of the experienced people here.
I just resumed a temporary job today as a data entry collector for 2021 jamb students at an IT firm and the pay is 2k daily which will run for a month, there's no expenses of transportation and there's breakfast and lunch.
While I was on the job today I received a call from an interview I had online last week that I will be resuming fully on Wednesday. The salary is same as minimum wage. Transportation is upto 700 daily.
The difference between the two is first one is temporary(1 month) while the second one is a full time job, and I just resumed the first one today.
Am confused I don't want to make a wrong choice, that's why I brought it here to hear from the experienced ones.
It's urgent, I need to make a decision asap.
Thanks.
Lalasticlala please help me move to Frontpage. It's very very essential to train one's children how to make wise decisions in life. Imagine how confused someone can be in this simple situations. Which ever one you choose to serve you right. |

Some intelligent folks have said it all. Marrying a firstborn does not really have a negative effect in marriage and neither do marrying a girl from a poor background will affect you financially. Everything boils down to the fact that marry someone that has vision, goals and dreams. Both should get their priorities right and understand eachother's goals. It is very essential for both to communicate their relationship goals and get it right.
For me I can marry a lady from a poor background provided she has what I can invest on in her. The greatest mistake a man can ever make in marriage and in life is getting married to a lady that has shallow insight to achieving her goal. It can be very draining. |

Venerealisles: So this year my family decided we were gonna come back to naija early for the Xmas celebrations, we also wanted to do Thanksgiving in Nigeria hence the early arrival.
Well, we were back home in Lag, so I decided to go hang out with some of my long time friends, and what I saw shocked me ooh. They were really big now, felt like they were way older than me. To make matters worst, I senior them pretty damn well, but my tiny physique just makes them think otherwise.
The last straw that broke the camel back was when I went over to my cousin's place, only for my Aunt to start saying stuffs like "I look like a toothpick" she even went as far as saying I should start eating enough beans!! Chaii I have suffered .
I will be 25 by December, but yet most people I come across still think I am a teenager, Little did they know that the so called teenager is the owner of a business in Lagos and also a degree holder.
Inspite of my achievements, I feel what they are saying is beginning to get to me, i can't change the way I look, if I could, I'd probably add more height to my physique . Babe you are beautiful ooo... Can I send you a dm? |

That new guy is really a good guy and he knows what he wants. Now theck this out before you make a wrong decision. That new guy decided to cut all communications with you because he is a disciplined guy and he is straight forward. He doesn't want to do to other man what he wouldn't want someone else to do to him. He doesn't want to destroy another man like him relationship. I bet you, if you force yourself on that guy and tell him you have broken up with your boyfriend afterwards, you will regret leaving your current boyfriend. Quote me now. If you leave your boyfriend for this new guy, you likely won't be respected by this new guy because he has totally got a perception of the kind of girl you are and he won't respect you. Don't ever make a man know you are leaving someone for him. He will treat you like trash and will use the decision you are about to take against you. Quote me |

Family › Re: The Biggest Mistake In Marriage Right Now For A Woman by mankind9(m): 7:11am On May 23, 2020 |
KingSatan: As a man, a father and a grandfather. I have lived life to an extent and this is my view on this subject.
The previous thread was simple and concise, "Never marry a woman who has no means of income".
But that is the truth!
Gone are the days when people marry "Obiageri's" according to the Igbos. Back then, things weren't this bad. Considering the family setting in those days, women had no other role than to cook, birth, raise children and clean the house.
So their parents prepare them for marriage, teach them how to cook, satisfy a man and raise children. They also spend alot of time grooming their hairs, taking care of their skin (Some parents send their children to fattening rooms) and waiting to get married.
When we got married, we married to keep them at home and show off to our friends. Only a few of us married because of love. Some of our partners were not our choice but our parents.
So when you marry, your wife and children should always reflect your wealth and networth. Most especially, YOUR WIFE.
I repeat, back then things were not this bad and everyone knew their roles.
But in today's world, so many things have changed.
Women should bring to the table as much as they expect from the man.
Raising children costs alot of money and shouldn't be the responsibility of the man alone.
So many marriages have crashed on the alter of poverty or "One stream of income".
We must learn to tell ourselves the truth always.
Back then, you don't spend so much to raise a child. If he or she wants to go to the community school or follow the white man's way of life, you send them as a punishment. But those humble and loyal sons, follow you to the farm and when they come of age, you give them farmlands and wives if possible. But that's not the case anymore.
Apart from formal education abroad, I also encouraged my children to learn sellable skills. One of my son is a fashion designer and that is what puts food on his table in the UK. His college degree only reflects on his call cards.
I told this to my children (Daughters inclusive) never to marry a man or woman who has no verifiable means of income.
Money is needed to run a home in the 21st century. Alot of money!
We no longer live in mud houses or drink from pots.
As for "Entitlement", I think every couple should have that mentality depending on the context.
The man is entitled to his wife's emotional commitment. She is his wife and this also applies to the man.
I am tired of typing.
To be truthful, i warned my son's against mingling with an average African woman. They simply don't want to know the truth. They hate the truth with Passion and that is why true feminism failed woefully here.
In the Diaspora, most men who want peace of mind avoid African women because of their "Entitlement Mentality" and how exploitative they are.
Many of these women don't work but enjoy proceeds of child support from numerous partners. You think it's a coincidence? No it not. It was deliberate.
They just want to seat at home, get fat, enlarge their butts and walk up and down the street like a pussy cat that resides in Buckingham Palace.
Should I talk about Nigeria, where you meet an average Nigerian lady and realise that;
1. She is a college graduate because a "Man" sponsored her in school (Both of them are no longer together as a couple).
2. She has a roof over her head because a "Man" made that available (She has no intention of marrying him).
3. She uses the best smartphone because a "Man" bought it for her (Just another random man).
4. She has clothes on her body because a "Man" gave her money for shopping (Obviously he is "One of those mugus" .
5. She has food on her table because so many men send her money.
This same woman has no other skill but sexual skills. The only thing she can offer is "Sexual Intercourse", "Birthing Children" and "Companionship" but she expects the man to "Mark her birthdays with a brand new Escalade", "Buy her parents a new house and train her younger ones in school". Is that not exploitation?
This same woman hates her mother inlaw because she sees her as her rival. Anyway, women have always hated themselves from time immemorial, don't get moved when you see them shout in solidarity, it's just for a few seconds.
When asked about their contribution in the relationship or Marriage, some will say "I birthed children for him". But that's your natural default woman!
Even if you sleep with a sexually active mad man, you will get pregnant and birth for him.
Some will even say, "I satisfy him sexually. I gave him my body and soul". But that is same thing you did with your numerous ex lovers.
According to Pastor Sam Adeyemi, he said "If a woman does not help her husband financially, then how else does she want to help him".
In this age and time, it takes two adults who have a verifiable means of income to build a healthy family.
Cheers! Wow!! I don't know who you are but this piece you have just put together to enlighten peoples here blew my mind. You are a bright man and I can tell your kids took same from you. Thanks for this. |

Disclaimer: Before getting married, learn how to tolerate each other, what you would not accept in marriage don't allow it and start cautioning it from courtship. Anybody that complains about something something in marriage must be a f**l because before marriage you should have taken time to know each other better. There are some basic things that causes rift in a marriage which could be addressed while dating. Cry cry after wedding is not going to work. One will have to deal with whatever he/she is passing through in marriage.. |
