before i was born i didn't have a choice to fill in an application form and tick the box to whether i wanted to be male female black african black carribean caucasian, asian hispanic etc.

Likewise i couldn't tick the box on the application form and chose whether my mama was going to be Madonna and my papa Iron Mike Tyson

Nobody choses their Nationaltiy just have to be[b]positive[/b] therefore proud of where u come from

Why would someone be proud of being something about which they had no choice? No-one had a choice about their skin-colour, nationality or tribe.

So i guess your trying to tell us that your ashamed of the colour of your skin, nationality tribe etc

None of these are attributes are earned by the endeavours of the individual. So why should one be proud of these attributes that are not the result of one's own endeavours?

So what are you trying to say? That i should i be ashamed of my tribal heritage because i couldn't chose my tribe or nationality before i was born?

As far as am concerned one has to be positive and you can link the word to be proud to being positive Nobody choses their identity but you should be proud of who you are

The American Civil War was fought to end slavery and keep the United States together. Most of the blacks in the U.S.A at the time were living in the deep South and were slaves. After the war they were all freed. Its only in the West Indies that slaves fought for their freedom not America ok

well its not the first time something like this has happenend to our African Brothers and Sisters. Its happened before. I remember hearing about it in a documentary where some Africans were just rounded up and dumped in the desert a guy who had an official UNICEF asylum document called med sen frontier a french charity organisation who were able arrange transportation and rescue them from their situation

i think the reason why most people say that England is not easy is because a lot of people here are doing menial jobs to survive. Jobs which only pay like 5.52p to 8.00 an hour like cleaning, security, working in Mac Donalds, Tesco's Labouring work etc

Then to add to that u need to pay your house rent, charge the light, feeding expenses, and probably send money back home

slave revolts stopped slavert. when lincoln signed the emacipation pf proclamation very few slaves were freed. majority opf the slaves were still enslaved.

when president lincoln signed the proclamation in January 1st 1963 he declared all slaves in the rebellious Southern slave states to freed men but actually in reality they wouldn't be free for at least another two years because the American Civil War was not over until April 1865

The South wanted to secede from the North coz the North wanted to abolish Slavery. So the American Civil war was fought eventually the South lost the war and slavery was abolished

Yeah, actually I have a Nigerian family where I will stay but it would be ok to find someone to make friends and talk, and I´ll probably hear the comment "Your are not Nigerian" more often than I expect. But this is how you learn the country.

I already travelled a lot around the americas and Europe so now its time to see little bit of Africa
