Gentleman, with a serviced apartment rental model, you can eat your cake and still have it in real estate investment. Investing in serviced or short let apartments in Nigeria can be a great option for you as a modern day gentleman. They do not only offer a stable source of income, but they also offer the flexibility of being able to use the property for personal use. With serviced apartments, the time to get your ROI will be shorter, compared to long-term rent/lease. In addition, with the growing tourism industry in Nigeria, serviced apartments are in high demand. Consider looking into this investment opportunity for your portfolio. So, my man, while you're making the income from your businesses and jobs, you can look into real estate investment to fund that your luxury travel when you retire. Let's go get it! reenxtus001:Thank you for your motivating comment. I'm glad you find it resourceful. |
WORTHWHILE LONGREAD. Gentleman, I want to help you succeed while I help myself in maximizing my potential. So, I want to share a recession-proof business/investment idea with you. Think food. Everyone needs and wants food, unfortunately, while we live in its abundance in Africa, it's wasting and there's food shortage. Meanwhile, I am of the "Think & find solution" school against the "complain only" school. So I profer: Agribusiness. My man, Agribiz isn't farming, but farming is a part of agribusiness. You may choose not to do farming directly, if you want to do agribiz, and especially if you are thinking as an entrepreneur, rather than a business man. My man asked: What then is Agribusiness? Manspace replied: Agribusiness is the complete value chain agriculture, which involves production, processing and distribution of agricultural goods. The economic activities involved in getting these goods to market and to the final consumer is where the goldmine hides. So, my man, the farmer, financial institutions, transporter, butcher, food vendors, grocery store owners, fintech guys, Dangotes, BUAs, Obansajos, Otudekos etc are all doing agribiz. However, you can start small, like some of my friend here are already doing, with diligence and patience, you'll grow big. HOW DO I START AGRIBUSINESS? Starting an agribusiness involves several steps, but I'ld try and break it down as much as I can. First, conduct market research. Understand the demand for the products or services you plan to offer and identify potential customers. Then, I would advise you to develop a business plan, if you want to build a structured business. This should include your financial projections, marketing strategy and operational plan. Secure funding. You may need to secure funding from banks or other financial institutions, or from relatives/investors. You can also take opportunity of available business plan competition offering grants/seed funding i.e USADF grant through TEF. Application is still open for 2023 applicants till March,2023. Rent/acquire land or space. Identify suitable area (land or processing plant) for your agribusiness, rent or purchase it, then obtain the necessary licenses and permits . Procure equipment and supplies. You can also purchase or rent the necessary equipment and supplies for your business. Hire staff. Depending on the scale of your operation, you may need to hire staff to help with production, processing, marketing and other tasks. It is essential to build relationships with suppliers and buyers. Develop relationships with suppliers of raw materials and buyers of your products. You need good deals, to help you in your pricing and quality and timely supplies. Implement best practices. Adopt best practices in farming, processing and packaging to ensure quality and compliance with standards. Seek for technical and advisory support. Consult with experts in the field to help you navigate the complexities of the Nigerian agribusiness landscape. Stay informed. Keep abreast of developments in the sector by attending relevant conferences, seminars and workshops. So, gentleman, I'm not here only to tell you about how to enjoy money. I'm also here to show you how to make money as a discerning gentleman. Let's go get it! Yours manly, Manspace.
