Your sister is an adult and should know when to quit if a relationship is not leading anywhere. It's not you doing the calculations and taking decisions for her.

If the man is not financially ready at that age it's a bit disturbing, and looking at her own age too it's not advisable to continue waiting for him because the way this economy is going I don't think he will even be encouraged to do anything now. So, If she sees another man who's ready in all ramification let her go.

I'm not totally writing off her guy because anything can happen in just a twinkle of an eye but again, it may not happen so soon and your sisters age is climbing.. except she doesn't see who she likes because me na wetin still keep me at 42 I never see who I really like like my ex. I don't pray for hers to delay like mine.

If after trying to talk her out of the relationship she doesn't listen, let her be. Dem no dey tell blind man say run don start..

Good afternoon, it's not as easy as you think ok! 10 years sexual relationship is more than just a relationship. I believe that you are a woman but if you are not, please ask any woman what a 1p years sexual relationship means.

In a committed relationship, the more a woman have sex with a man, she changes mentally, emotionally and in other aspects of her life towards the man. Have you not realize that when a man and a woman is in a committed sexual relationship that the tend to resemble each other? It's not just physical but in all aspects.

She should talk to her sister but it would be easier for the man to adjust compare to her sister ok!

Food / Re: Are some retailers deliberately hiking prices? Whats happening In Nigeria? by Maobichek: 8:04pm On Feb 29
Offpoint1:
They are. Once they heard price of dollar has increased, these folks will automatically increase the prices of items. I keep wondering if Naira is Nigeria currency or dollar.

The one I can't fathom till date is garri. No part of garri processing involves dollar, but the price keeps skyrocketing.

When I entered Lagos 2018, a paint rubber of garri was sold N400. How it becomes N2500 today I don't understand.

Good evening, I'm not supporting any form of hike in price of stable food ok but let's look at garri: cost of producing garri have increased in the recent times.

Money is involved in fueling the car that will convey the cassava from the farm to the processing factory or home and processed garri will be transported to the market.

Please how much is fuel? How much is transportation? Bear in mind that most farmers farm from the village and need to pay for transportation, grinding and other expenses such as labour, tax(police checkpoint"s"wink.

They also buys firewood, palm oil etc during production; all these are no sold at the old price ok.

The garri you buy at the markets are produced in large quantities so money for production have increased. My parents hardly buy garri because we have lands that my mum cultivates but we pay for the labourers ok, and it for home use and not for sale, thank you.

I can't imagine a normal man will look at his daughter, mother or sister and imagine sexual thoughts.

You must be sick in the head to think of such, talk more of engaging in the act.

The man must be paranoid; there will be absolutely no enjoyment having sex with ones daughter, sister or relative.

Yesterday, I told my wife and kid that the last carton of indomie noodles I grudgingly bought 2wks ago for N11,000 would be the very last in my house. Women being women, just this morning, my wife was asking me if I really meant it and wouldn't get them even if na half carton if the one at home finishes. The bombastic side eye I gave her was enough to remind her that I'm just a level 11 FG worker trying to stay afloat.

Please don't transfer aggression to your wife, i believe that she is a good wife, just sit her down and talk to her.

Nigeria is in a big mess right now. Floating our currency remains the worst policy of this administration. BDC has been there for years, at Wuse zone 4 beside Sharaton, most BDC operators have been there for over 20 years, CBN gave them license and they partner with commercial banks. Government should reverse that policy (floating of Naira) and ensure measures to ameliorate the cost effect on the masses.

A worker of mine approached me last week Friday and said "oga with the economic situation of the country at hand, do you have any plans of laying us off or reducing our salaries?" Good morning, ppl are hungry, you may not understand but it's obvious. I pray everyday for people around me before the more they are in lack, the more burden on me. After service yesterday, at least 3 ppl approach me for help. God alone will save this country.

This is what any reasonable society should be doing.
Of what use is HAMAS to those children?
You didn't think about them before attacking who pass you ,you still can't defend them with your life ,rather using them as human shield.
Aren't making policies to better their lots in life, all you think about is tunnels, weapons and violence.
It's high time Palestinians begin to flush out HAMAS themselves so that they can have the much needed peace both Palestine and Israel deserves.

You have a point there but bear in mind that Hamas are their kit and kin i.e Hamas are Palestinians who felt dissatisfied over the activities of Israel in Gaza.

Let me take you down memory lane, if you are a Christian and knows the history of this war according to Bible; Palestinians didn't just move to Gaza, they have been there. Through warfare and conquest in the Bible, Israel once ruled places (countries) that are not originally Israel and this is the issue. We believe that Jerusalem is the city of David (according to Bible) but ppl were there (in Jerusalem) before God promised Abraham and even when the Israelites came back from (Egypt) captivity.

My opinion is that war(s) have not brought solution to this whole issue, they should sit down and reach a compromise on how to live together because Palestinians can't be drove out from Gaza in the name of fighting Hamas. More Palestinians will still join Hamas out of anger seeing their families/love once killed in a bid to annihilate Hamas as Israel desire.

Another senseless killing of innocent Palestinians by Israel

Of a truth, i feel bad about the Palestinian issue and Israel must excercise restraint on how they go about fighting "Hamas."

Palestinians must state their position on Hamas activities, let it be known whether they are for or against Hamas. Innocent ppl are dying on daily basis and something must be done, this war must not continue.

Food / Re: Checkout The Rice I Bought In A Local Kaduna Market by Maobichek: 4:40pm On Feb 15
simonlee:
So, considering the rate at which the price of foodstuffs keep increasing by the day, I decided to buy enough rice to last a while.
I went to a local market here in Southern Kaduna (where I work) to get my rice. These local markets are open only once a week, with traders and buyers from far and wide coming to make the most of it.
I was able to get local, clean rice at the rate of N1,500 per mudu (our unit of measurement here grin). I bought 15 mudus, that's N22,500 and got 1 extra mudu free after scoping the mama to the best of my ability.
I think it was a good purchase considering how our brothers in the south are lamenting the cost of food over there.
What's the situation in your area?

"...considering how our brothers in the south are lamenting the cost of food over there."

The above copied part of your thread drew my attention. Kano, Niger, Abuja etc have protested, they are not southern part of Nigeria. I live in FCT and i know the cost of things here.

These are all the result of Buhari leadership, i see Tinubu trying hard to implement a system that would balance the system of governance and promote huge economic development.

Buhari was there, ppl who called him out were tagged"enemies of the state."

I want to ask you a question: why is that Buhari now have more critics compared to when he was the president?

I believe after 2 years and we didn't see any significant improvement in the lives of our ppl you won't still call PBAT out but when he hands over, critics will spring from left, right, up and down against him.

Nigerians are not finding it easy now unlike what we had during Buhari's days, we must admit that and ask our leaders to live up to expectations, thank you.

Tinubu use your power now before they overthrow your. These guys are not coming to negotiate, they set you up and now they are ready to bully and disgrace you out of office, be smart. Divide the country now or back to region and you would never be forgotten

Good morning, the masses are hungry, price of staple food has resin to an unexplainable level. I believe that your position wouldn't have come up had the current government live up to their billings.

Buhari was not the best but if we are buying things at the same price we bought during Buhari's era, many people would keep quiet. Things are extremely hard now and everyone bears witness to that.

If you have solution, profer and not PBAT dividing this country because people are speaking up on hardship ravaging the country.
