I really want to know everything from their post utme to their admission system ...infact just tell me everything and what you also scored in jamb and post utme to secure a spot in the school? Unical post UTME is marked over 400
40 questions which implies each question is 10marks.Those for medicine will write bio, physics,chem, English and current affairs.
To me,their post utme is one of the cheapest to score very high.Many persons do score 300 and above even those with jamb scores of 190,215 etc
The exams last for about 30 minutes .
What you score in the post UTME will be added to your jamb score and then divided by 2
The outcome will be your aggregate which will determine if you will be admitted or not.
One thing I can say is if you aren't under their catchment or Eld try as much as possible to beat their merit cut off.They usually don't joke with their merit list.
As at 2017,I got in through catchment
I scored 282 in jamb and 280 in post UTME

Guys, help me thank God OOOOOO... The Master Physician has done it for me. I have been admitted to study Medicine and Surgery at the prestigious University of Benin. After 3 yrs, the Lord finally did it.. Chai, from Uniben to Unilag and finally back to Uniben..Right now, I'm just simply the happiest guy on planet Earth. I thank God for not allowing the waited years to be wasted years.
To my Ogas in the house, U guys have been of immense inspiration to us , believe it or not. After reading from the beginning of this thread, I had enough inspiration and believed I could succeed.. to the other aspirants ,pls do not give up, the Lord will do yours IJMN..

A piece of advice
Unical is no more using olevel criteria for admission so you having weak olevel grades has nothing to contribute to your admission.
Everyone is subjected to post utme after jamb exams
Dentistry is getting quite competitive so I will advice you score like 260+ in jamb and 280+ in post UTME .
That will give you greater chances of admission.
If you beat the cut off, most especially for dentistry you will be admitted.
Every school in Nigeria has its own issues when it comes to admission..most schools place greater priorities on their indigenes
So pls and pls if you are not an indigene aim higher than what the normal person (indigene) will aim at.
Last year cut off was about 254 or more but was not up to 260
Get a good score and watch Unical admit you

That's a nice one bro,just as a suggestion ,if I were in ur shoes I will register for a new one and select a school around the south region,in my own veiw I feel gaining admission around this location is quite flexible
I will also take jamb with hopes of scoring high so I can get in also through Utme incase anything goes wrong with the DE...

What dept were you admitted in biological sciences.
If BCH or MCB you may change to medsurg if you have good connection + high G.P not less than 4.5.
PSB and ZEB have a very slim chance of changing to other depts, sometimes they select only the best performed student or through voting.
Though, students with long legs ( connection) do have their ways.

I advise you pick a jamb form as you work towards accumulating high G.P if truly you have passion for Medsurg.
Back then in 2015 I had same intention of crossing to medicine, I had much trust in my self that my G.p would t not be anything less than 4.5, I was told to buy jamb form but I did not welcome the idea. I would have Been in 200lvl MBBS by now had I listened.

MBBS is a calling, you answer to it anytime you think you can.
Despite the fact that I'm in 300lvl Bch UNN, I'm still waiting for unical to release their second admission list because I got higher than their cut off point for MBBS but yet to be admitted.

The decision is yours bro..

One of the greatest fantasy of every fresher is to observe fresh bae's /Boo 's hahahaha....its very very funny...you find a pack of guys just chilling under a tree,observing babes and will be like oooh menh I love this one,I need to show her some flows ...wow....I laugh at that thought right now...
And the girls will be like ..ohhh sweedy...(to her fellow girl)..do you know about two guys are asking me out ...they look so cute ...I don't know which one to choose ..I love both of them...maybe I should double date them....hahahaha I am actually also laughing at that thought...
I am not trying to say you won't date anyone but as for now ...see this time as your transition period ..whatever you do at this period will stick on till your graduation. You want to be a first class student .it starts from your 100 level...In my own opinion it will be of a great help for you if you stay away from anything relationships for this period of life ..Bae/Boo won't help you..this is your time to be refined ..try your best to maintain a normal relationship with your opposite sex.you who is thinking of coming to date all the girls you see and find attractive.. What will it add to your life ..what positive thing will it add to your personality...
Be wise ...make a decision that won't cost your future ...
