Maybe I should just double my own worries , if being worried can get it fixed Don’t be worried bro your eligibility review hasn’t started yet doesn’t mean there are not working on your application, don’t you know there are people Whose application are rejected days after submission? I know a friend who’s status didn’t change for a day, no eligibility, no background check He’s in Canada nw So relax ur mind You can request for Your GCMS notes to be rest assured It will end in praise |

Hello guys, please I have a question someone was denied her visa based on the fact that she has a valid study permit in SA however now she has decided to interrupt her study and has returned to her home country. So now her supervisor has asked her to write a letter stating that she has interrupted her studies. She would please like to know if she should say that she will come back for the studies to use like ties to come back after her studies in Canada. The course is she actually doing now in SA is quite different from the course she is going for in Canada, the PGD she applied for in Canada aligns with her work experience. So please how can she construct the letter?
PS: I advised her to opt out of the program since it doesn’t align with her career and future prospects, that it would show seriousness and commitment..
Buh other advises are welcomed Thanks guys |

JustMellow: It is impossible to predict the outcome. What is important is that it was acknowledged and hopefully, included in your file for the perusal of the officer.
Some individuals have been successful in doing the same that you've done.
Stay hopeful Okay thanks bro |

JustMellow: Is it based on the officer's pre-assessment concerns? Based on the fact I have addressed the issues |

@justmellow What do you have to say on my case Remember I have addressed the concerns and sent LOE, which they have acknowledged, do you think they will do otherwise |

JustMellow: Hello Marcelonwa,
The bolded is not always the case. You might be surprised that your application may be in the process of being finalized and may be waiting on an updated letter without requesting for it or as the case may be.
You should try to relax.
Best of Luck Thank you bro If u say so then No problems |

Kayyyy: My dear ehn!!! Enrollment letter shows that you’ve registered for courses for that particular semester. So I must register my courses before I fly I don’t think it’s every sch that issues that enrollment letter |

Kayyyy: I paid 950 US Dollars CASH. Please this is my personal opinion; changing US dollars at the airport is really high, so instead of me changing the equivalent of the hotel fee of 1,075.32 CAD, it’s better to pay cash of it in US dollars ($950). Example; I changed $200 USD this morning at Calgary airport, I was given 200 CAD and some coins (like what the hell??!!!). So for that kind of large amount of 1,075.32 CAD, changing that equivalent at the airport will be too much of a loss. I don’t know if changing larger amount of money will be better but I think they have a standard exchange rate. Like I said earlier, IMO!!! So u can book And pay later na? |

JustMellow: Hello Marcelonwa,
You did right. Have you request your notes? Do so if not.
Best of Luck Hello @justmellow I requested for my first GCMS notes it came very late close to 50days, I saw some concerns raised in the pre assessments notes raised by the VO, I quickly addressed the concerns via a well detailed LOE and sent back to them via webform and emails, it was acknowledged 2weeks later, so wen I was still waiting for the first gcms, I requested for another one, which will be 30days by next week Wednesday, though I don’t expect to see much sha. Just hoping luck will shine on my side, my program has already begun, so I deferred and sent them my new LOA, my greatest worry now, since I now have new start date, they may choose not to expedite process, my application is already 4months, With all these 8months am seeing now, can’t wait any longer I just tire |

Kayyyy: Landing gist!! From Abuja to Toronto using Ethiopian airline; My flight was on the 17th of May by 1:35pm but I got to the airport by 9:15 to check in and prepare myself for excess luggage (which at the end, I didn’t get)
At the Abuja airport; they asked for; Passport, with stamped study visa Enrollment letter COVID test Hotel quarantine plans Flight ticket.
Little advice; you could wrap your luggage at the airport cause of change of aircraft to about tear or manhandling of your luggage. I think it’s 500 naira per baggage. To be honest, the food served on Ethiopian airline wasn’t bad for me, we were served basmati rice with either beef, chicken or curry sauce.
At Addis Abba I was only asked for my passport and boarding pass. Lay over was 2 hours. We stopped at Dublin for refuel but we didn’t get down from the plane. We were there for like an hour and 30 mins or so.
On our way to Canada, we were given 3 different forms to fill, which they asked for at the Canadian immigration center at the Pearson airport.
At the Toronto airport, asked for my passport and for me to drop my face mask so they could see my face, and give the reason for my trip. Then moved to a different side, where I was asked for enrollment letter, the forms I filled on the plane, COVID test result, ArriveCAN, admission letter.
One of the forms was signed and stamped. Then I moved to immigration side where I was asked questions like why I am in Canada, name of school, course, previous education, school fees receipt, passport, filled forms, enrollment letter. After everything my passport was stamped and I was given the official study permit. And they explained things like I am legible to work for some hours per week, and when the study permit will expire and co.
Went down stairs, got my luggage, then signed up for health switch for COVID test. Took a covid test and was given a personal COVID test kit to be taken on Day 8 of quarantine. Then hotel buses came to pick us from the airport depending on our individual hotels. Like 6 in the bus. I booked Crowne plaza, I paid $950 (USD) cash at the hotel. Will be leaving the hotel tomorrow morning ( done with quarantine).
So that’s it. Which one be enrollment letter again ? |

Spectro: Which is why it is advisable for everyone to do MBS.
I think MBS is more believable to these folks who evaluate other people's applications.
I am deeply hurt by the shitty ways some people have been treated. Some guy here was rejected after eight good months of application... If that's not shitty, I don't know what is. Some people have reported some disturbing stories about decisions by these folks.
I sense nonchalance and poor management with VOs vetting naija applicants.
If they are going to reject folks, they should do it as swiftly as possible.
But it is well. There are better days ahead for you all, irrespective of the decision outcomes. Me too I see high level of incompetence in there works too, that’s why people win them in JR |
