I'm really scared for this our generation, nobody has mention ken saro wiwa of blessed memory. Ken saro wiwa wiwa and the ogoni "9" died for this and you people are trading blames. Someone( after 25 yrs) has finally said he didn't died in vain and they would start the clean up, instead of following up to make sure they finish, we display our ignorance and bigotry. I can bet most of u would be checking on Google who ken saro wiwa is. |
omenka:103 nairal is based on 197 per dollar remember the marketers are now allow to buy dollar at 298 per dollar that is a 50% increase in landing cost this means 103 nairal isn't feasible I feel labour should focus more on minimum wage and the state govt that owe salaries, because a strike will bring more hardship to them unpaid workers how can they stock when they paid last about six months ago |
Do you have ball joints 4 honda pilot |
Obamina:Obamina please read this short story Sword of Damocles According to the story, Damocles was pandering to Dionysius, his king, and exclaimed to him that he was truly fortunate as a great man of power and authority, surrounded by magnificence. Dionysius then offered to switch places with Damocles so that Damocles could taste that very fortune firsthand. Damocles quickly and eagerly accepted the king's proposal. Damocles sat down in the king's throne surrounded by every luxury, but Dionysius arranged that a huge sword should hang above the throne, held at the pommel only by a single hair of a horse's tail. Damocles finally begged the king that he be allowed to depart because he no longer wanted to be so fortunate, realizing that with great fortune and power comes also great responsibility and danger. |
Just seeing this post, I'm interested Oreagba3d@gmail.com. thanks |
The OP doesn't understand the way the economy works nor about the balance sheet 1st You blame buhari for guiness nig plc decline in profit but fail to look at the part where buhari resumed as the president 5 months ago, out of a 12 year balance sheet , whereas profit and loss statement aren't usually released same month even if it's unaudited. So less than 5 months of the guiness profit decline issue was in buhari ' s term whereas d total income for this year and last was between the NGN 21 billion bracket just a reduction in profit based on an increase in expenses to keep sales up even while the country's purchasing power reduced as a result of decline in world oil price in a huge consumption, crude oil dollar based economy. In real life even before we had the last election crude lost value with our consumption based economy the govt started touching the foreign reserve. Op foreign reserve is what we use to pay for dollars that ur Mastercard uses. There are two options use the foreign reserve and let the naira loses value to maybe NGN 300 per dollar or more. You will Still complain dat what was buhari dat naira lost value and your would end buying for more than the NGN 300 because d Dollar still won't be available and d more expensuve black market is still d most viable option. Or Restrict use of dollars until the country's dollar revenue matches or surpasses our dollar expenditure. |
I would to know more about your products I intend to get the wet type extruder |
Nigerians Decry Witch hunt of Volkswagen CEO, Martin Winterkorn By Pius Adesanmi BY PIUS ADESANMI SEP 23, 2015 In the aftermath of the corruption and emissions cheating scandal that has rocked automobile corporation, Volkswagen, the company’s CEO, Martin Winterkorn, has resigned. Says Winterkorn in his resignation statement released on September 23, 2015: Pius Adesanmi Sahara Reporters media “I am shocked by the events of the past few days. Above all, I am stunned that misconduct on such a scale was possible in the Volkswagen Group. As CEO I accept responsibility for the irregularities that have been found in diesel engines and have therefore requested the Supervisory Board to agree on terminating my function as CEO of the Volkswagen Group. I am doing this in the interests of the company even though I am not aware of any wrong doing on my part. Volkswagen needs a fresh start – also in terms of personnel. I am clearing the way for this fresh start with my resignation. I have always been driven by my desire to serve this company, especially our customers and employees. Volkswagen has been, is and will always be my life. The process of clarification and transparency must continue. This is the only way to win back trust. I am convinced that the Volkswagen Group and its team will overcome this grave crisis.” Mr. Winterkorn’s resignation has been greeted by widespread condemnation among the users of Volkswagen products in Nigeria. Many of the supporters of Volkswagen products in Nigeria allege widespread irregularities and bias in the probe of Volkswagen by the American authorities. The general opinion of the aggrieved Nigerians is that the honest admission of guilt by Mr. Winterkorn notwithstanding, he has been a victim of an unfair witch hunt and lack of due process by the American investigators. Some of the aggrieved Nigerians wonder why the emission probe has to start with Volkswagen cars when it is common knowledge that the Bedford logging trucks (agbegilodo) used by loggers all over Nigeria in the 1960s and 1970s never passed emission tests yet Bedford was never investigated by the Western governments of the era. Many aggrieved Nigerians also recall that in the heyday of Peugeot 504 GL and Peugeot 504 SR in the 1970s and 1980s, the French company was never able to manufacture safe and secure doors. The door was always the weakest part of that brand. Yet Peugeot was never investigated by the powers that be. Other Nigerians are mad over the timing of the Volkswagen probe. They allege that the witch hunt against Volkswagen is buttressed further by the fact that a comprehensive, unbiased, and fair probe of the auto industry ought to have started with the first car built by Henry Ford in 1896. It is generally known that Mr. Ford’s car was deficient and caused a lot of environmental issues in 1896 and 1897. The Nigerians insist that no probe of the auto industry would be acceptable that does not begin with Mr. Ford’s 1896 car. The aggrieved Nigerians are planning massive protests in support of Mr. Winterkorn and Volkswagen. Arrangements have been made to sponsor paid advertorials in newspapers in support of Volkswagen. When reminded that the corruption and irregularities at Volkswagen which led the said auto maker to rig emission tests in the US may have caused damage to the environment and even led to some deaths, one of the Nigerian supporters of Volkswagen responded: “Ehen, before nko? And so? Is it only Volkswagen emission that has been killing people? What about emission by other cars? What is bad is bad. This is a clear case of witch hunt against Volkswagen. We will not take it!” http://saharareporters.com/2015/09/23/nigerians-decry-witch-hunt-volkswagen-ceo-martin-winterkorn-pius-adesanmi It really captures recent events |

Duru1:No disrespect but follow d events b4 d civil war ibo joined forces (and became friends ) with d north to form a govt in which a respectable igbo president emerged while the prime minister was north. then came d coup (lead by some igbo military officers ) after which an igbo head of state. Then a counter coup brought the igbo out of equation. There was a civil war. Yoruba wasn't in any of part d film b4 d War, d federal govt won d War and u Feel it's proper to blame yoruba for ur failed relationship with d north when u didn't carry them along in d 1st place. And for losing d War. Check history when there is war the loser usually has more casualties, Whether u like it or not we are citizens of d federal republic of Nigeria so we have to adapt and understand each other not trade blame for our grandfather's actions |
