Travel / Re: U.S. Non-immigrant Visas: We’re Listening Pt 2 by mariam99ng: 1:17pm On Nov 20, 2018 |
I was at your office recently for an F1 visa Interview with a valid B2 visa at the time of my interview which was used to travel to the state for my second childbirth delivery. I have used my visa for the purpose it was intended for and I paid all medical bills to the last cent with all evidence of payment intact and provided to the interviewing officer at the time of my interview. I have traveled to the United State of America trice, all on Medical ground and I have not in anyway violated the immigration law. All medical bills are fully paid before departing the state, so I do not understand what the re-occurrent cancellation of my visas before expiry mean't because I think if I am found ineligible for my current visa class application, that should not be an automatic cancellation of my existing visa that has been properly used. I was at your office sometimes ago in 2017 to complained about my visa cancellation for unknown reason and recently my second visa was cancelled which I also do not know the reason behind the cancellation. I used my first B2 visa class for my first childbirth delivery in August 2015 and paid all my bills then returned back to Nigeria, I also traveled in January, 2016 for my baby follow up medical appointment which I equally paid all bills with all payment receipt intact. I scanned and sent all payment receipt via email to Lagos Consulate Office on request and a new B2 visa was issued on 02/23/2018 which was used for my second childbirth delivery in 2017 and I also paid my medical bills in full with all evidence of payment. I have spent nothing less than $40,000 into the U.S system on all my trips, and I never overstay my welcome nor violated any immigration law on any of the trip made so far. I appeared for an F1 visa interview and I was refused but to my surprise my existing visa that is still valid through February, 2019 was cancelled as well. I think my case has not been properly looked into and I need a proper investigation in order to continue maintaining my credibility in my future visa applications whether to the USA embassy or any other country embassy I am interested in. |

abujaniv:Thanks for your response sir. I was able to schedule an appointment and visit abuja embassy as earlier advised so that my visa case can be looked into but my visa was cancelled instead without giving any reason why it was cancelled after showing all the previous medical bill I paid in 2015 when I had my first son with detailed explanation to my interviewer. My estimated total budget for the trip was $20000 inclusive of the hospital fee, doctor fee, flight ticket, hotel accommodation, baby documentation, shopping and other miscellaneous. I presented the Maternity Price list the hospital sent to me via email prior to my appointment and the Itemized bill I signed at the hospital on my first appointment. I presented the zero due balance statement and letter of non indebtedness I got from the hospital after discharge, I presented the obstetrics receipt for the doctor, anastethia, pathology test respectively and all these were no way enough to prove that I am eligible for the medical visa I obtained about 2 years ago on medical ground and have also used twice for my travel to the state. I think my case has not been properly looked into and I'm deeply saddened that despite my genuine intention on all my trip to the state without committing any fraud, without violating any immigration law are being used against me as I have fully prepared myself financially and also do the needful this time for another medical visit to the state so that I can get a safe and adequate medical care and all these hopes are jeopardized. Kindly advise on how to resolve issues like this. Best Regards. |

RedReact:I applied alone, stated my hubby as family tie to my country in my letter and also submitted few nos of property investment deeds. I think I should order the CAIPS file check to know exactly what's wrong with the application 1 Like |

abujaniv:Thanks for your response. I sent a mail to Abuja embassy regarding my case and I was asked to schedule an appointment to come to the embassy in Abuja so that they will know what happened. So my question is, do I have to pay the regular appointment fee before I can schedule the appointment to visit the embassy or how do I go about it as I need to resolve my visa issue as soon as possible. OmoBendel24: $16k was my budget and the statement of account (hubby & I ) provided covers approximately twice the budgeted amount with evidence of income submitted alongside so no complaint about the fund. Travel history and purpose of travel was the basis for the refusal. 1 Like |

I thank you all for answering my previous question on my visa application for birthing but I was refused on travel history and purpose of visit which I don't seems to understand as I have traveled to Malaysia,US & UK respectively and I also stated childbirth delivery in the purpose of visit section and request 10 weeks stay. What's do you think could be wrong with my application? |

Good day Sir and thanks for the wonderful job you are doing here. I was stopped from boarding flight to the State as scheduled with my current and valid B1/B2 visa that I have used twice and ask to visit the embassy for more information. My question is: 1.Can I walk in to the embassy without appointment to go and find out why I wasn't allowed to fly with my visa? 2.My visa was issued in Abuja and I am currently in Lagos, can I visit lagos embassy for the clarification? Thanks in anticipation |

Hello ma'am. So sorry for all you have experienced. Cervical incompetence can only be managed by experienced and competent obstetrician/gynecologist and not just any how doctor. I was once in your Shoe and thank God I'm now a mother. I was given some drug after the procedure to ease my uterus and delay labor and was advised to stay off stress and sex for a while and it all end in praise. Let me know if we can discuss more about it and see if your doctor is actually doing the right thing. bevybay: 3 Likes |
