I counselled a young guy who was addicted to masturbation
He told me he can't do without masturbation.
One thing that struck me in his confession was when he said, 'my mum caused all this for me'.
Curiosity got hold of me & I asked him, how?
He said;
he started masturbation since when he was 4 years old';
my mum has always been dressing up naked before me, I am used to seeing her unclothedness.
I am not moved to have sex with her but I always long to see mature ladies naked just the way I always see my mum dressing up naked before me.
I still remember seeing her unclothedness regularly till I was 8 years & my dad do shout on her, 'send this boy out before you dress',
but my mum would always reply by saying, 'will my son sleep with me?
Stop planting evil thought in his heart'.
Anytime I see my mum's naked body, I long to see ladies' naked body.
I then went into sex at age 10 and till now I am not free from sex & heavy pornography & masturbation...'

HABITS THAT SHOW IMPROPER UPBRINGING IN CHILDREN

Please, carefully look into the list below to see where you may want to make amends on yourself or the young ones you are caring for.

Children, if not properly groomed may never get to the top in life, even if the parents are at the top of their career.
Manners take you to where your education can't irrespective of your status, money or the "who you know" factor. This is not meant to hurt anyone or pinpoint on someone for their upbringing. Its a general message targeted to all the parents of today.

1) Going to your child's school dressed indecently? Think again.
2) Speaking rashly to your child's teacher.
3) Cursing, using foul words or swearing in front of your children.
4) Using makeup on children.
5) Dressing with tight clothes and indecently for children (they loose the sense of their princesshood and may not listen to u in future)
7) Your child hold the cup or glassware by the brim and you don't correct.
Your children don't greet and you just feel they will come around one day because they have a mood swing. ( You will be blamed for it)
9) Your children eat with their mouth opened and you feel they will grow up some day.
10) Your children bring home something you did not buy for them and you say nothing. ( that is the beginning of stealing)
11) They talk back at you and you conclude it's okay since you are a 21st century mummy. ( You will hate yourself if they do that outside and they are disciplined )
12) They interrupt when you are speaking with another adult and you think they are bold and clever. (Its really bad manners)
13) They exercise authority over their nanny and domestic staff and you let them be. ( that is bad parenting)
14) They say things like "my driver is on his way..."
I am not an advocate that children should call your domestic staff aunty or brother, calling them by name when they are not young people is not poise either. The use of Miss, Mr or Mrs will look good on them.
15) Your children don't say- 'Thank you' when they have been helped or served something and you are cool with that. (Bad parenting)
16) When your children cannot stand children who are less privileged.
18) When they pick their nose with their hands.
19) When they don't wash their hands after visiting the washroom.
20) When your children take something from the fridge without taking permission. (Bad parenting)
21) When your children don't knock on closed doors.
22) When your children don't collect from your hands the stuff you brought in as you walk in through the door.
23) When your children request for a bribe to carry out their home chores or extra task. (That is disgraceful )
24) When your children act like their grand parents irritate them.
25) When your children have not learnt to get up from the chair for the elderly or visitors to sit.
26) When your child tells a lot of lies. (You will both cry in the future)
27) When your child asks "who is that?" at a knock on your door instead of "please, who is there."
28) When your child is always seated by your visitors when being served drinks etc.
29) When your children still point their fingers at other people.
30) When your children play and jump around when prayers are going on.(age 4 above).

Dont be a 21st Century parent who cannot correct a child. Train your child in then way of the Lord so that when he grows up he will not depart frm it.

IT IS BETTER TO LET YOUR CHILDREN CRY AT AN EARLY AGE WHEN YOU CORRECT THEM, IF NOT YOU WILL BOTH CRY AT NIGHT WHEN THEY BRING DISGRACE TO THE FAMILY WITH BAD AND TERRIBLE BEHAVIOURS!

+~+ Another CONVERSATION ... A rare encounter [On Sacramental Confessions cum Absolution]. +~+ On my way back from a fateful funeral, I branched at a Petroleum Filling Station here in Owerri City ... Was on my Priestly Regalia. Hardly have I alighted from my car did I hear a highly welcomed command from a wealthy and comfortable looking young man as he said, "Fill up his tank ... He's a Man of God". Both I and the sales girl conceded, of course, he paid later for everything. The young man then with strange tears in his eyes earnestly begged to have some words with me. HE IS A PENTECOSTAL BUT FROM A PROTESTANT LINEAGE. We both parked our cars at a quiet corner of the large filling station, sat on a long-bench close to our cars and then started our discussions which ended up becoming an unplanned and unexpected counseling session. He broke down in tears and in heavy sobbing several times before he was able to put himself together ...under grace and encouragements, he began to speak: "Reverend, am so sorry for bothering you, am not your church member, am a hardcore Pentecostal from a Protestant family ... I hope you don't mind. I have great regard and respect for Ordained Ministers, especially Catholic Priests. Please Reverend, help me, AM A MAN DEEP IN SIN, IN EVIL RITUALS AND IN ABOMINATIONS FOR YEARS NOW AND AS A HABIT. My soul is thirsting for forgiveness and for peace, my shadow is pursuing me all around too, even though am very rich, connected and comfortable. Reverend, please I need Confessions and Absolutions as you used to give to your church members .... I have several Catholic close friends too". He said out several private, scary and touching things as we were still discussing along ... BUT I MADE IT QUITE CLEAR TO HIM THAT SACRAMENTAL CONFESSIONS AND ABSOLUTIONS FROM A CATHOLIC PRIEST IS A RESERVE FOR ROMAN CATHOLICS ALONE; BUT AS A PRIEST AND A SPIRITUAL FATHER FOR ALL, I WILL ALWAYS FIND ANOTHER BIBLICAL PATH OF HELP, COUNSELING, PRAYERS AND PENANCE TO ATTEND TO HIS REPENTANCE AND TO HIS READINESS TO RETURN BACK TO GOD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS. [ I actually attempted to refer him to his Pastors later on ... and even to suggest him into becoming a Catholic along the lines, but, he declined in both ... At least, as at that moment ]. He earnestly needed Confessions, Absolutions, Prayer Assignments and a new sense of direction. THROUGH GRACE AND MERCY, WITH THE HELP OF THE BIBLE, WITH COUNSELING SESSION AND WITH PRAYERS, I DID SO MUCH AS WAS POSSIBLE TO MINISTER TO HIM, GIVING HIM A NEW SENSE OF PEACE AND TRUE RESOLVE ... STILL MAINTAINING TO HIM THAT THE SEVEN SACRAMENTS [even Sacramental Confessions and Absolutions] ARE THE RESERVES FOR ROMAN CATHOLICS WHO ARE IN HEALTHY COMMUNION WITH THE CHURCH ~ ~ The young man, brightened up in soul and in the externals after the gracefilled encounter at an unusual place [a filling station], he took some detailed Prayer Assignments from me, collected my contacts/address, promising to maintain regular appointments .... Which he's already maintaining, to the glory of God ~~~ BUT TO YOU ROMAN CATHOLICS: [1] WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU EVER VISITED THE CONFESSIONAL FOR A SACRAMENTAL CONFESSIONS? We were created to ENJOY a LIVING, VITAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. There's something supernaturally wonderful about reading the Word of God and hearing Him speak His promises to us. His Word to us has inherent power in it; His words are spirit and they are life " It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh conveys no benefit [it is of no account]. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and life [providing eternal life]" {Jn.6:63}. If we do not SEEK GOD and spend time FEEDING OUR SPIRIT with HIS TRUTH, WE WILL NEVER BE FULFILLED/SATISFIED/CONTENT.
I do not think there is anything worse than being LOW-LEVEL STATE of spiritual dis-satisfaction all the time.
SEEK GOD EARLY AND DILIGENTLY YOU WILL FIND HIM {Prov.8:17}
To Seek GOD means to desire and require, which is to CRAVE, PURSUE AND GO AFTER GOD with all of your MIGHT.
Many people want guidance from GOD, but they do not crave and pursue HIM or lay aside other things in order to go after A WORD FROM HIM. But David put together ALL THE THINGS that he wanted in HIS WHOLE LIFE to this ONE THING--- MORE OF GOD ALL THE DAYS OF HIS LIFE thus "ONE THING have I asked of the Lord, that will I SEEK, INQUIRE FOR and [INSISTENTLY] require: THAT I MAY DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD [IN HIS PRESENCE] all the days of my life, to BEHOLD AND GAZE UPON THE BEAUTY [THE SWEET ATTRACTIVENESS AND THE DELIGHTFUL LOVELINESS] of the Lord and to meditate, consider and inquire in HIS TEMPLE" (Ps.27:4).
I believe that the ONLY THING THAT TRULY SATISFIES THE LONGING WITHIN US is to KNOW GOD MORE INTIMATELY TODAY than we did YESTERDAY.
Take time to reflect on a moment with GOD that was more satisfying than any other event in your life. But if that moment was years ago or even yesterday then you are MISSING OUT on the RICH PLEASURE that comes from fellowshipping DAILY with THE FATHER, through HIS HOLY SPIRIT. The LORD says "I love those who love me and those who SEEK ME EARLY AND DILIGENTLY shall find me" {Prov.8:17} and "You will SEEK ME, inquire for and require Me [AS A VITAL NECESSITY] and FIND ME when you search for ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART" (Jer.29:13)
No matter what we own, where we go, or what we do, nothing can give us TRUE GRATIFICATION/SATISFACTION/FULFILLMENT but the PRESENCE OF GOD. Money, trips, vacations, houses and furniture, clothes, OPEN DOORS OF OPPORTUNITY, marriage, children and many other blessings are all things that can certainly excite us and give us a DEGREE of happiness for a period of time. But HAPPINESS is based on what is happening at the moment, while JOY is BASED on AN INTERNAL ASSURANCE/CONFIDENCE/SATISFACTION/FULFILLMENT that exist inside YOUR WHOLE BEING in ISOLATION OF/SEPARATION FROM/INDEPENDENT OF OUTWARD CIRCUMSTANCES.
The GREEK word translated JOY in the New Testament means "calm delight". It is not necessarily hilarity (something that excites you to laugh) although it can include that, but to be CALM and DELIGHTED is WONDERFUL. I do not think there is anything BETTER than just TO BE SATISFIED/FULFILLED/FEELING OF INTERNAL COMPLETENESS & PEACE. To wake up in the morning and THINK, life is good, praise GOD, I am SATISFIED and then go to bed at night STILL SATISFIED, that is truly living an abundant Spirit-filled life.
We will never be PERMANENTLY, CONSISTENTLY SATISFIED if we SEEK THINGS TO DO OR OWN in order to QUENCH that DESIRE/VOID/HUNGER/YEARNING/THIRST/EMPTINESS inside of us instead of seeking the INNER SATISFACTION that comes ONLY from TIME SPENT WITH GOD. I am PRESSING this point because I believe there are too many UNHAPPY baptized Christians, born-again and so-called Spirit-filled believers who are without knowledge of what to do about their DRY, UNFULFILLED LIVES. I say "so-called" because to be FILLED is to REMAIN FULL of the SPIRIT OF GOD by acknowledging HIM and PURSUING HIS WAYS EVERY PASSING SECOND OF OUR LIVES.
God's Word says, "But EVER be filled and stimulated with the [HOLY] Spirit" {Eph.5:18} EVER means ALWAYS, any-time, any-second, daily. Our stomachs never stay filled if we do not keep eating and drinking. One good book, one classroom study, or one good conversation with someone can NEVER satisfy our thought life and one-time encounters with God are never going to keep us contented spiritually.
We spend time and money, we take careful plans and elaborate provisions to feed ourselves each day. Sometimes we even know today where and what we are going to be eating tomorrow! Just as our physical body needs to be fed, MUCH MORE OUR SPIRIT MAN MUST BE FED. Our physical body will DIE SOMEDAY AND BE EATEN BY MAGGOTS however OUR SPIRIT MAN CAN NEVER DIE; IT IS ETERNAL LIKE GOD, HE IS THE ONE that will FACE JUDGMENT, HE WILL SPEND FOREVER WITH GOD IN JOY OR IN THE PIT OF HELL (PRAY THUS "I MUST GO TO HEAVEN IN JESUS NAME. AMEN.). But somehow we seem to think we can have a great relationship with GOD without FEEDING ourselves with HIS WORD and FILLING ourselves with HIS PRESENCE.
JESUS SAID, "Man does not live and be upheld and sustained by BREAD ALONE, but by EVERY WORD that comes from the MOUTH OF GOD" (Mtt.4:4). Going further he said
"For the BREAD OF GOD is HE who comes down out of heaven and gives life to the WORLD" {Jn.6:33}
Yet we starve ourselves of life's most important requirement--- THIS DAILY BREAD FROM GOD---
The response that followed the above statement of Jesus Christ was "...Sir, give us THIS BREAD ALWAYS" (Jn.6:34)
THEN HE RETORTED
"JESUS CHRIST said to them, I am the BREAD OF LIFE, WHOEVER comes to me will NEVER be HUNGRY and WHOEVER believes in me will NEVER be THIRSTY" (Jn.6:35)
Desire, Pray for and Pursue WITH EVERYTHING YOU HAVE OR WILL EVER HAVE IN LIFE for MORE OF GOD'S PRESENCE IN YOUR SPIRIT, SOUL, HEART, MIND, BRAIN, BODY e.t.c EVERY NEW DAY much more than you had YESTERDAY.
GOD OUR FATHER I/WE thank you because you have released unto us ALL THE SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES in CHRIST JESUS (Eph.1:3) hence we stand on the finished works of your dearly BELOVED SON JESUS CHRIST "IT IS FINISHED/MANIFESTED/SATISFIED/ESTABLISHED" (Jn.19:30) we call to manifestation THE VISION OF YOUR PRESENCE INSIDE US EVERY PASSING SECOND OF OUR LIVES as we declare "IT IS DESTROYED" {Jn.19:30} for ANY-SPIRIT, RELATIONSHIP, BUSINESS, LANGUAGE, ALTAR, COVENS, PERSONS, AUTHORITY, CIRCUMSTANCES e.t.c that may or will like to distract our COMMUNION with YOU in JESUS MIGHTY NAME. [Rev.12:11] in JESUS MIGHTY NAME. AMEN. Let us Keep on creating the AWARENESS OF THE DEVILS PLANS/ANTICS as we keep on DECREEING OUR FREEDOM AND VICTORY IN CHRIST JESUS. AMEN. THE STATE OF EXISTENCE JESUS DESCENDED TO IS HADES where people who did not EVEN BELIEVE IN GOD AT ALL WHEN THEY HEARD THE GOSPEL IN NOAH'S DAYS WERE KEPT and this STATE OF EXISTENCE IS NOT HELL-FIRE thus " For indeed Christ died for sins once for all, the Just and Righteous for the unjust and unrighteous [the Innocent for the guilty] so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit; 19 in which He also went and preached to the spirits now in prison,20 who once were disobedient, when the great patience of God was waiting in the days of Noah, during the building of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons [Noah’s family], were brought safely through the water" {1 Pet.3:18-20}. EVEN IN THE GRAVE JESUS CHRIST IS LORD. THE POWER OF JESUS CHRIST TO SAVE A HUMAN SOUL IS NOT ONLY LIMITED IN THE PHYSICAL BUT ALSO IN THE LAND OF THE DEAD. "7 None of us lives for himself [for his own benefit, but for the Lord], and none of us dies for himself [but for the Lord]. 8 If we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. So then, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. 9 For Christ died and lived again for this reason, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living" {Rom.14:7-9}. THERE IS SIN CATEGORIZATION BY ST. JOHN thus "16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask and He shall give him life, for those who sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death. I do not say that he shall pray about it.
17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not unto death" {1 John 5:16-17}. The sin that leads unto death which is ETERNAL DAMNATION IS REFUSING TO BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR OWN PERSONAL LORD, SAVIOR, REDEEMER AND GOD (" about sin [and the true nature of it], because they do not believe in Me [and My message]; Jn.16:9). HADES/SHEOL which is called PURGATORY was also referred to by JESUS CHRIST as the NEXT WORLD where sins could be forgiven thus "Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come" {Mtt.12:32} hence there is another world where sins could be forgiven and it is not HELL(STATE OF EXISTENCE FOR THOSE CONDEMNED FOREVER; Mk.9:47-49) NEITHER IS IT HEAVEN {STATE OF EXISTENCE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE ATTAINED PERFECT RIGHTEOUSNESS IN CHRIST JESUS; Rev.7:13-14}. Paul also made a reference to this STATE OF EXISTENCE CALLED PURGATORY thus "If what he has built survives, he will receive a reward. 15 If it is burned up, he will suffer loss. He himself will be saved, but only as one being snatched from the fire" [1 Cor.3:14-15] HADES/SHEOL which is CALLED PURGATORY BY THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS A TEMPORAL STATE OF EXISTENCE i.e it's function of purifying souls comes to an end thus "Death and HADES were EMPTIED of the DEAD that were in them and every one was judged as his deeds deserved. Then Death and HADES were thrown into the BURNING LAKE. this BURNING LAKE IS THE SECOND DEATH" {Rev.20:14}. if you are still doubting that there is also ANOTHER STATE OF EXISTENCE CALLED "THE SEA" {Rev.20:13} from there also people will come for judgment. THERE IS ALSO BAPTISM FOR THE DEAD "Otherwise, what do people mean by being baptized on behalf of the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why are people baptized on their behalf?" {1 Cor.15:29} just like aborted babies e.t.c. ALL THESE THINGS ARE BIBLICAL however CATHOLIC CHURCH DOES NOT TEACH HER MEMBERS TO DESIRE PURGATORY AS "AN ETERNAL TARGET" rather HEAVEN OUR HOME (Phil.3:20) but PURGATORY is only for THOSE WHO AIMED AT HEAVENLY HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS BY LIVING UNDER THE PRINCIPLES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT but there was something defined as "UNCLEAN" BY GOD'S JUST JUDGMENT yet does not merit HELL-FIRE "Nothing unclean will enter HEAVEN" {Rev.21:27}. This state of temporal cleansing is not for EVERY CHRISTIAN to pass before going to HEAVEN rather those who could not attain PERFECTION COMPLETELY ON THIS EARTH BEFORE THEIR DEATH{the next world where sins could be forgiven is applicable to them as in Matthew 12:32}. IT IS POSSIBLE TO LIVE A LIFE OF PERFECTION HERE ON THIS EARTH, DIE AND ENTER HEAVEN DIRECTLY ("Verily, verily I say unto you, he that heareth My Word and believeth in Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life" John.5:24). This STATE OF TEMPORAL CLEANSING FOR SINS committed on earth is NOT HIGHER THAN THE EXPIATING POWER OF JESUS CHRIST rather it is inside JESUS CHRIST; THE BAPTISMAL FONT/FIRE OF JESUS CHRIST FOR COMPLETE PERFECTION "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear. He shall baptize you with the HOLY GHOST and with FIRE" {Mtt.3:11}. MAY THE SOULS OF THE FAITHFUL DEPARTED REST IN THE MERCY OF JESUS CHRIST. AMEN.

I STAND ON CHRIST JESUS, I AM NOT AFRAID AT ALL OF FAILURE. HIS STAND IN ME, WITH ME AND FOR ME IS UNCHANGEABLE "JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAME, YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER" {HEB.13:8}. PURGATORY IS REAL however it is a TEMPORAL PHASE {"Death and Hades were emptied of the DEAD THAT WERE IN THEM; and EVERY ONE was judged as his DEEDS deserved. THEN DEATH AND HADES were THROWN INTO THE BURNING LAKE. THIS BURNING LAKE IS THE SECOND DEATH" Rev.20:14} for people who lived on earth believing in JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR OWN PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR but due to human inclination submitted/committed SIN while ALIVE yet they confessed their sin to God personally{"If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose]1 Jn.1:9, "My little children (believers, dear ones), I am writing you these things so that you will not sin and violate God’s law. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate [who will intercede for us] with the Father: Jesus Christ the righteous [the upright, the just One, who conforms to the Father’s will in every way—purpose, thought, and action]. And He [that same Jesus] is the propitiation for our sins [the atoning sacrifice that holds back the wrath of God that would otherwise be directed at us because of our sinful nature—our worldliness, our lifestyle]; and not for ours alone, but also for [the sins of all believers throughout] the whole world.1 Jn.2:1-2},

If you forgive the sins of anyone they are forgiven [because of their faith]; if you retain the sins of anyone, they are retained [and remain unforgiven because of their unbelief].”Jn.20:22-23] and they believed God has forgiven them however without faith we cannot please God (Heb.11:6) i.e without FAITH no one will enter Heaven then knowing that FAITH is believing in JESUS CHRIST {EVERY WRITTEN WORD OF GOD(HOLY BIBLE CONTENTS) AND SPOKEN WORD OF GOD[ORAL TRADITIONS]} and living according to the principles of the HOLY SPIRIT for example after telling God you are sorry for STEALING (ALWAYS BE SINCERE AND HUMBLE TO CALL SIN ITS ORIGINAL NAME; THIS SINCERITY IS AN ASSURANCE YOU WILL NOT DIE WITHOUT REPENTANCE TO GOD "THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE"Jn.8:32) this 20 thousand Naira from your Sister/Brother/Husband/Wife/Children/Relations/Friend/Govt-Office/Biz-Partner/Church-Offering/Church-Donations & Levies/Private-Office/Market-Associations/School/Students/Teacher/Judiciary/Clergy e.t.c then GOD says RETURN THE STOLEN MONEY, you AGREE, while giving back the STOLEN MONEY TO THE RIGHTFUL OWNER; you are GRUMBLING IN YOUR HEART "why should I return the MONEY TO HIM/HER/THEM? since you presume in your heart the person or group does not need the money more than you at the particular period/time" THIS KIND OF ATTITUDE is a clear indication of someone who partially believes that GOD HAS COMPLETELY FORGIVEN HIM/HER and if such a person dies with this state of the SOUL will not be thrown into LAKE OF FIRE because of the MERCY/FORGIVENESS OF GOD which he/she believed in and practiced while on earth and this MERCY TRIUMPHS OVER JUDGMENT hence will be placed in the BAPTISMAL FIRE OF JESUS CHRIST {"I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire" Mtt.3:11} for COMPLETE PERFECTION before COMPLETE UNION WITH THE FULL COURT OF HEAVEN {"But if the work is burned up, the builder will suffer great loss. The builder will be saved, but like someone barely escaping through a wall of flames"1 Cor.3:15}
"Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life" (Rev.21:27) hence if you are still committing SIN with impunity and assurance that you will have the opportunity to repent and amend all your ways before you die; BE-CAREFUL/BE-WARNED or if you are still living in SIN while HOPING TO GO TO PURGATORY; you are MAKING A SERIOUS MISTAKE BECAUSE YOU ARE MOVING TOWARDS HELL/SECOND-DEATH/LAKE OF FIRE/GEHENNA WITH IMPUNITY
