Amorc hasn't done half the atrocities the Roman Catholic has committed.

Neither has eckankar done half of what redeem has done in brainwashing and systemically robbing their sheeple.

Yeah, literally, you are right but most are lenient with their members while some have intense restriction and rules that scare plenty away except you have strong motive like looking for prosperity charms or artificial security etc. You can't compare Catholic with AMOK or Redeem with Eckankar.

At a point in our history when humans didn't have an explanation for a lot of natural events, it was convenient and necessary to have religion and God as the raison d'etre.

But over the years, through hard work, science has been able to give a logical explanation.

As years go by and more scientific milestones get broken, the more religion will be put to the back seat.

So yes, traditional religion has expired, the new religion that is been born is data religion.
