Christianity Etc › Re: Before Indulging In That Sexual Intercourse by mariovito(m):
If sex was meant for only two married people, God will have made the sex part of the Instruments to become active only after marriage.

Ps.
All of ona wey dey bash me, see, I don talk wetin I talk.

Marriage, just like law, justice, God, countries, limited liability companies are all fictional concepts that only exist in our imagination. We agreed to believe in these things, meaning that at some point in our history, they didn't exist.

If human life was created strictly through marriage sex, many of you won't be here.

Let's even go by your Bible, after creation, the admonition was to be fruitful, multiply and subdue the earth, not admonition on marriage.

Marriage only came much later in the Bible. Marriage is good as it creates some order and responsibility, but that's not enough grounds to vilify sex before marriage.

Human nature does not understand grammar. What should be talked about should be taking responsibility for our actions.

To the one talking about a two year old, my guy your back must be aching you for how far you're reaching.

You guys always switch the narrative when it's convenient.

You mean a full grown adult could bow to peer pressure to do something that'll like cost her her life?

Accountability, be accountable for your actions..

Emmaomotob:
You mean sending your child to a substandard Nigerian school will make them better? Also, you are very naive if you are oblivious to the way many secondary students behave nowadays. Also, consider the trauma of having to live in a disorganized society like Nigeria and the ill will the child is likely to harbor for his parents.

No, DSS and cia are not equivalent

The equivalent of DSS is the United States secret service.

The Nigerian equivalent of the CIA is the National intelligence Agency.

So DSS is the automatic attack dog of any APC president. To think that DSS is the American equivalent of the CIA. Them really destroy this country

For me, I think a Nigerian or African should allow their kid grow up a little over there then send him down to Nigeria or their respective African country to do secondary school under the tutelage of their grandparents.

Yes, I know that grannies may not be as tough on the grandkids as they were on their own direct kids, but the training they'll get plus the African sense will be a lot better than what the west has to offer.

Music/Radio › Sinead O'connor Dead: Irish Music Legend Dies Aged 56 by mariovito(op): 8:23pm On Jul 26, 2023
Irish singer Sinead O'Connor has died at the age of 56, it was reported last night
Sinead O'Connor has died at the age of 56 after years of mental health battles, her 'devastated' family confirmed.

The Irish singer shot to stardom across the world in 1990 by her heartrending cover of Prince's Nothing Compares 2 U

It comes a year after the mother-of-four's son Shane, 17, took his life in January 2022 after escaping hospital while on suicide watch.

At the time of her death, the musician, who changed her name to Shuhada' Sadaqat in 2018 when she converted to Islam, was thought to be spending her time between Co Roscommon, Ireland, and London.

In her last Tweet, O'Connor posted a photo of Shane and said: 'Been living as undead night creature since. He was the love of my life, the lamp of my soul. 'We were one soul in two halves. He was the only person who ever loved me unconditionally'.

In a statement, O'Connor's family said: 'It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sinéad.

'Her family and friends are devastated and have requested privacy at this very difficult time.'

Tributes have been pouring in for the adored singer after her death was announced.

Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said: 'Really sorry to hear of the passing of Sinéad O'Connor.

'Her music was loved around the world and her talent was unmatched and beyond compare.

'Condolences to her family, her friends and all who loved her music.

O'Connor was born into a troubled family in Dublin on December 8, 1966.

Later in her life she claimed she started having mental health issues because her mother physically and sexually abused her as a child.

She was placed in corrective school aged 15 after bouts of stealing. An Grianán Training Centre, in Dublin was previously a notorious Magdalene laundry for 'fallen women'

Although O'Connor said it was no longer an abusive place, she said being kept away from her family was upsetting.

However, one of the nuns there spotted her musical talent and bought her a guitar and pushed her to have lessons.

Through an advert in a Dublin music magazine she met Colm Farrelly and together formed the band Ton Ton Macoute, which brough O'Connor to the attention of the global music industry.

After signing with Ensign Records she released her album, I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got in 1990, which sold more than seven million copies and included her breakthrough hit Nothing Compares 2 U.

Depends on your perspective on life.

If you see the glass as half empty, you may not want to come back.

If you see it as half full, you'll probably hold the philosophy that the best thing in life is life and will want to reincarnate.

But above reincarnation which is a very debatable pseudoscience, your perspective as it relates to my analysis above will reflect in how you live yourself.

So one group may lead a fulfilled happy life regardless of possessions and position, while the other group may feel miserable even if they may have more possession.

Banana Republic.

All this is because he's hobnobbing with the president and then thinks he is invincible.

Anyway, na governor wey nor know him power this criminal go chance.

With power of incumbency and access to state funds, if the governor plays his game well, this fat pig will be slaughtered by the guy standing fanning him.

On the other hand, that immunity he thinks he has because he is in bed with the president can be withdrawn any moment if the president feels he is becoming dead weight, a fly in the ointment.

For a company as big as Twitter, you'd expect that they'll have some of the best corporate legal counsel.

How can you go ahead to execute such an action with far reaching consequences without first carrying out appropriate due diligence and paperwork?

Musk might just be digging Twitter's grave and also driving the nail into the coffin.
