Career › Re: Inflation: Why Are Salary Earners The Hardest Hit? by mariovito(m): 10:51am On Jul 24, 2023
Other business people can quickly adjust their charges and fee to meet whatever the prevailing economic realities are.

Not same for salary earners.

Salary increase may take long to come for those who get it. And in most cases, the increment won't do much.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Congo: Soldier Kills Wife, 2 Children, 10 Others For Burying Son In His Absence by mariovito(m):
That was very irrational.

Do we blame this on PTSD?

While there are spoils of war, there are also things war spoils.

This is one of them.

You can't keep breaking things and expect not to be broken yourself, or kill others and think something in you is not dying.

Most of this can be traced to imperialism.

As long as western interests is vested in the resources rich central African country, war and instability in Congo translates to gain and profit for western interests.

Sierra Leone and Liberia had their own share of the blood diamonds.

Congo is experiencing here own share of blood coltan, blood columbite, fact is every resource in Congo quickly turns bloody because that's the only way access to resources without having to pay much Orr abide to rules.

Same thing happening to the blood gold in zamfara where vested interests engineer insecurity and you know the rest.

FCT is cosmopolitan.

In fact, the north may even be a minority in fct.

Pauladex:
Funny people, if 25% in FCT is determinants of who becomes President, it like nailing their coffin because north will make sure no southerners ever get 25% in FCT till the end of ages. Either today or tomorrow Aso rock is getting far from children of anger and hatred.

I agree.

The thing is no one really cares.

Growing up before TV and home entertainment became very easily accessible, we're just happy to have something screening regardless of what it was.

I'm not a parent yet, but I think parents should as much as possible monitor what their kids watch.

Many will think it's impossible, but it is.

With the advent of smart phones and smart TVs you can monitor and restrict what your kids watch.

When I eventually do have kids, I will take it as a full time job along side my full time job, what they see on the screen will be in my focus especially with woke new age ideas being spread through social media, tv shows, video games and almost everything. The best you can do for their nacent mind is to screen what is screened and expose them to only wholesome contents that will build up their young minds untill they're developed enough to handle these other media l.

These are some very serious claims.

Do you have anything to prove them?

FrankishKing:
My family created the Knights Templar and I am a direct descendant of Grand Master Hughes De Payens the first grand Master and I am a direct descendant of Grand Master Jacque De Molay the last grand Master. All 9 founding members of the Templars were my ancestors they oversaw about 150 knights who came from the Frankish kingdom in 1119 a d. Godfrey De Bullion, King Baldwin I, Ii, III and IV were my ancestors and they were administratiors and kings of Jerusalem. There was no France or French nation we are Franks and we had several small kingdoms that made up the Frankish Empire. We are the tribe of Benjamin and we lived in Germany before we burnt down the Western Roman Empire and conquered it. The Nation France bears my family's surname De France which means Of The Franks. The last king is as of a different dynasty he bore our surname because King Louis the 16th was a Frank of the royal house of Carpet, his name was King Louis Augusto De France. It's alot of people today with our surname but back in the kingdom days no one not even relatives could wear the royal name unless they were of the King's family. De France is a royal name it has been in my family for 1400 years it came from Franco the son of Prince Hector who escaped the destruction of ancient Troy. The name is passed down from father to son from the king to his sons.

I'm an old Gen Y, and I can tell you, I envy Gen Z.

All the the millennials tried and struggle to be, Gen Zs became that without any efforts.

They have No stomach for BS.

Financially smart, whether legal or illegal.

Davidtalo121:
I kinda love these current generation z, probably because I'm also part of them but they're like way cooler than the previous combined, no time for emotional or bias shit.

They just want to drink, smoke and party. No time for religion bullshit and they're more open to modern ideologies like LGTBQ culture, promoters of diversity, open minded and more feminist. It's good.

Though tbh it's kinda among the millennials as well but compared to the gen Z, they're boring.

Oh i also forgot educated ASF

Bro, when e reach your turn, you fit romance am o.

In Florida, it's completely okay to kill certain species, pythons, alligators and some other animals because why?

They're invasive species.

The guy has the right to treat a forest python in his room as an invasive species.

Guy should thank his stars.

Imagine the snake had gotten into a hermitage only to emerge in the dark.

Sleeping and then cold slithering thing winding round you legs, at first you want to not think much of it, and then it intensifies while crawling and rising all the way up.

At this point you realise this is as vivid as the air in your nostrils but by then it's already too late as the slithering coldness that you are just about to identify finds it's way up to you face as you pick up a semblance of What it is, a serpentine figure with the eyes of a dog and the dentition of a bovine.

As your heart rate races while you're wondering why you're all helpless and can do anything, you jolt from your sleep because it's all been a lousy dream.

This guy should be grateful.

Fruitful Monday you all.
