Georgry: Nigerians will begin paying a e fee.”
Source: https://saharareporters.com/2026/01/14/breakingb_6vg So I sat down yesterday to analyze this Vat of a thing.
Mama Nkechi is the owner of a Mama put. She peels yam with her hand, boils the yam and pounds the Yam with mortar and Pestle to make pounded yam (added value).
Mama Nkechi sells the pounded yam to Yinusa that comes to her store. Yinusa pays VAT on the pounded yam. ( Mama Nkechi is the one that added value to the yam by pounding it to make pounded yam, but it is Government that is collecting Vat money on the value that Mama Nkechi added to the yam. Which Value did Government add in the above if I may ask?
