She also uses a combination of starch, pap (ogi) and salt on the umbilical cord.

Lastly, she gives the babies a mixture of boiled roots and that gin in small green bottle to drink.

Please lets know if this the practice in some cultures. And how safe is omo, salt and the gin.

Pls I need ur honest advice because I am at d verge of filling for a divorce. My marriage is just 3 yrs old and I hav two sons for him, we are currently separated and living separate for 16mnths now and all dis while he never called nor checked up on his kids to knw how dey are fairing, I hav been d one taking care of the kids alone. He is very heart less and full of pride and ego, he never apologise wen he is wrong, and from all indications he has not changed. I am being pressured into goin back to him even wen he has not apologised for all d Ill treatment he meted out to me. all I really want is a divorce. Pls wat should I do?

If you are relatively OK where you and the kids are, still remain there, tell your parents to give you more time to pray over it(moving back), don't go back yet, don't file for a divorce yet. Some people have stayed much more longer, and came back as brand new couples otherwise, allow the union to die a natural death, it is only a Monster that will allow his wife and innocent children sleep on the road, no matter what the woman did.

Pampers have become the general name given to disposable diapers. OP, there are good and affordable disposable diapers, a low income family can use, it must not be Pampers. My opinion, people who cannot afford Pampers, can go for the cheaper, yet good disposable diaper, and mix it with the reusable cotton napkin. U wouldn't want to be seen in an occasion, with ur baby wearing the cotton napkin, and the child poops every 45mins.
