Truth is that, there is something that attracts a woman to a man, his commitment, wealth, appearance, focus and determination, nobody really has it all. Secondly I believe that you can grow to love someone, ending up neglecting his or her obvious shortfall(s), but do not marry out of desperation. If you really do not have an iota of love for him, that can be nurtured and u think his appearance does not just cut it, you need to tell him on time and save they both of you a lot of problems in future. Thirdly, learn to bridle your mouth, ladies with uncontrollable mouth are turn offs, even to that prince charming you hope and dream for. Lastly, If you decide to end up with that 'young man' you just finished described, I hope that you are very very pretty so as to neutralise that his genes that will be passed onto your daughter otherwise....

That is why we can never get things right in this country, bunch of unserious people. The OP has brought to fore, a comparison that begs for an answer on what and where we've gone wrong as a country, but you, is f00lishly talking about the poster's skin colour undecided if he bleaches, you'll be the first to crucify him, he stays Black and real, you tell him to Bleach, Tufiakwa!!!!

They should sew up the ear. Marriage these days undecided na just God, look at what it has turned this pretty lady. Madam when you've recovered at the hospital, make a formal police report, then pack your things and leave, you might not be as "lucky" as this, next time.
Crime › Re: Woman Allegedly Killed By Her Husband's Brothers...they Butchered Her [G.PHOTOS] by MARKone(m): 8:42pm On Nov 20, 2015
koyyes:
I guess it's partly true what people say. When you marry someone, you marry the his/her family also. So if your lover's family are questionable characters, ditch the relationship or you'll pay dearly in future. This woman would still be alive if she was single and not married into a criminal family.
Word.

Even when you've entered, and notice that the family has traits that will endanger you and your kids, just jejely pack your things and run. See no marriage is worth anybody's blood, talk less of life. One would rather remain single than to meet death in the name of marriage. This is vicious.

Boko Haram can never take 105 soldiers captive. They soldiers absconded, and will gradually start appearing one by one, that is assuming the story is true.
Crime › Re: Robbers Storm Banks In Agbara, Ogun by MARKone(m): 12:02pm On Nov 19, 2015
lemolemo:
Our government is not interested in combating armed robbery. Way too many things they could do, one of them is the death penalty. Can't remember last time a condemned death row prisoner was executed in Nigerian. Last one was 2006 until 4 in 2013 according to Wikipedia. That is 4 execution in the past 9 years while in 2014 alone over 600 convicts got death penalty, that equate to over 5000 inmate awaiting death penalty. When you take up arms to rob violently including shooting policemen, innocent public and pregnant women as in that picture then if convicted death is appropriate. But our governors are dirty themselves, they rob with pen and get 100 times more than this robbers get.
You made a very sensible comment. I think during Babangida regime, public executions(firing squad) were televised live. Some parents back then who have stubborn kids, take them there to witness such executions, many change afterwards. Nigerians need iron hand, no need sugar coating it. Armed Robbers, Kidnappers Ritualists, Terrorists, if found guilty, should be executed immediately and publicly, no time, wasting scarce resources feeding them in prisons is not just it. Same should apply to rogue politicians.
Events › Re: My Pre Wedding Shots by MARKone(m): 8:15pm On Nov 18, 2015
OP Congrates, and a happy married life. Don't mind these kids here, whether your wife 22 or 70 is nobody's business, and you don't need to prove anything to anybody, as long as they both of you are happy, understand and support each other, in good and bad times, then you'll have a very happy home. Good luck.

Trut:
Lubbish... That cement road will not last more than a year, with the rate of heavy duty trucks that plies every nook and cranny of Aba. Go and see the silly drainage they're building along Aba-Owerri, at Umungasi market and Osisioma. It has take them more than 4 months in that drainage and work done so far is from here to there.

Tell your Governor to visit Enugu and see the quality of roads done in that state.

The annoying part of it that the contractors doing the works doesn't have LABEL.
Yeah, sullivan did a very fantastic job in terms of road construction there in Enugu metropolis. Problem is maintenance, last I visited, some of the roads are getting pretty bad, i hope the new government will look into them, Sullivan left a legacy.

Family › Re: Any Possibility Of Meeting My Father After 42yrs? by MARKone(m): 2:31pm On Nov 15, 2015
montanaguy:
I was born and brought up in the east, in Awka, Anambra state. My dad is a yoruba man while my mum is an Igbo woman. From the story I was told, my father served in the Nigerian army during the civil war. His last unit was in Agulu in Anambra state. His name is Olu as I was told. My mum was staying with him when she conceived me but due to the tradition, he was denied the paternity because he did not pay the dowry. My mum's parents forcefully brought her back home. By the time my father came to pay the bride price, my mother ran away. He left with frustration and since then has not returned. He does not even know if my mother later delivered me and if she does, wether a boy or girl, he does not know. My mother has hidden my father's identity from me. She claims that all she knows is that he is from Ondo state. Please what can I do to locate him?
Of course there is a possibility of reuniting your dad, hopefully he would still be alive. But you really need to make your mom open up, the info she holds within, will go a long way in helping you achieve your mission. Don't you know is surname, do a Google and face book search, narrow it down to Osun state, then you ask questions. Good luck.
