I strongly suggest Wenger should go for another CB, despite the fact that Djourou would be coming back, am not so confident with him and Senderos either. . . . . Wenger should go for an experienced CB by the new year.

Considering we were on our way to losing that was one hell of a turnaround. Although I pray Wenger will say to the board we need a quality cb cover for when Touré is away , I mean for fks sake , we could well win the title this season so spend some cash! I will cry if a whole seasons hard work is undone because we didn't bring in quality reinforcements in January . Imagine if Gallas got injured and we had Djourou and Senderos playing for a run of games , what a scary thought.

Not much talking, Arsenal would win.

This is a massive massive fixture for both sides especially considering that Man Utd. travel to Anfield and we will know the result of that game before we kick off against Chelsea.
Whether we win the title or not does not hinge on this game but the result will have a major impact on who wins it. we have had an up and down December having won only 2 games of our last 5 in all competitions. Injuries and fatigue from 4 consecutive away games did not help but we should have rolled over those teams even with the team that we put out.

Everyone here will again harp on about whether we will have Fabregas and/or Hleb back to give us creativity. Games like these are more often than not very cagey affairs and generally don't live up to the billing and hype. Everyone talks about how many we will be able to score, because for us 1 goal has never been enough and that is the major concern for me going into this game. These sort of games are not won on who creates more but on who has a more stubborn defence and our defence has looked very shakey to say the least. We have developed a habit of conceeding goals whether that be when we are 3 goals up like against Reading or 2 goals up like against Steaua _{God help us}. I don't remember one game this season irrespective of our start where we have played at the same level of concentration and committment over 90 minutes. I understand the level of pace dipping but we do tend to become lax at some stage of the game.

For me defence is the key, how well we are able to defend as a team will determine what result we get out of this game, them not having Drogba and Essien will be a major handicap for them, although[b] Lampard [/b] thinks differently.

Its difficult to make a call on the composition of our team unless we know more from Wenger about the state of our injuries, it would be good to have Fabregas and Hleb back though, that is if they are 100% and their injury has completely healed and there is little threat of it recurring.

Wenger has funny ways, make of this what you like: He [Van Persie] is ready physically, yes. We have some other players who are injured, like Fabregas, like Hleb, Flamini, and we'll have to assess the situation of these players in the next few days, though I will certainly have to take a gamble on one or two. Can I take a gamble on three or four? That would be a very risky so I'll have to assess the situation in the next three or four days.

I don't understand what he means by taking a gamble, whether it is with respect to playing them, or whether it is with respect to not playing them? I just don't want these players injured again as the fixtures come thick and fast and are tough.

I ll reserve my prediction till i read the news on the injuries, but as i said, it hinges on how we defend in my opinion.

I think you are being over-protective here, she maybe your kid sister but that doesn't mean she doesn't know what she is doing. If she feels that is the right man for her, I think all you need to do is to give her the right support.

Maybe you should talk more to your folks, they should make sure she and your cousin would be kept apart for a long time so the fear of the unknown won't happen.

what do u think about these churches advertising deliverance,salvation and miracles in their t.v and radio adverts? why commercialising what should be given freely?

They are many that are in need of such so the advertisement would lure them into your vincinity in the area that affects them, or how do you think people attend churches these days, If not for the media?

6years of Courtship and no marriage yet? why did you waste so much time like that? Or was it that both of you were not as close as people in courtship, or you didn't play your path well? I think this question would be maybe she thought you were not really serious about her, maybe you should try and go closer, look for a way to get her attention back to you and see what come out of it.

I noticed that Arsenal has been shaky ever since the Sevilla's game, that was due to four straight away games and the available/rusty players that was on ground then, there would surely be a change against Chelski, I believe.

Middlesbourgh deserved the victory no question about it. I really am getting frustrated with Gilberto in the 11, i don't know why but he is a mere shadow of himself from last season.

I hope we do see the addition of a classy playmaker winger in Jan because Rosicky & Eboue need to be fighting for thier spots in the 11 even after injuries.

I don't know what to make of[b] Eduardo[/b], i wan't hm to succeed but I just don't see how it will work given our style of play doesnt invlove lots of crosses or angled balls into the box.

Almunia is not a Premiership winning Keeper. I like his attitude and spirit but he was responsible for the first goal, running off his line like a spring chicken and not gathering the ball was suicide - I thought he would have learnt from the Man Utd match! It was a soft penalty but what Almunia did was plain stupid!!!!

Finally I just wish we'd stop looking like victims whenever the game gets tough!! I don't think Arsène helps the matter too much with his comments about physical play. Football is a contact sport and I'd rather see our players stay on their feet and fight instead of looking to go to ground and grab the free kick.

I'm glad the unbeaten run is over - it is nothing more than ego & hype building process that often leads to teams playing too defensive to clinch draws rather than going hell for leather to win the match. I couldnt believe the lack of urgency from our side after going 1 nil down in the opening 4 minutes.

Anywayzzzz the league is still a marathon and is wide open, we should continue the chase.

I will be ready to sympatise with Chelsea

I don't know why everyone is so confident about beating Chelsea. If I'm not mistaken, Hleb and Fabregas won't be back for the Chelsea game as well but I'm not so sure about Flamini though. Yes we need to put things right after this disappointing loss but it wouldn't be surprising if we lose to Chelsea as well.

I'm much more disappointed about the performance than the loss tbh. Boro are an average team in poor form and we as title challengers should be beating, or at least drawing with, this kind of teams. Our key players are out but our backup players seemed to have the ability but not the passion. If we wanted to we could've won this game, as shown from towards the end of the match.

Now we're just 1 point above Man Utd and we must beat Chelsea in order to maintain top, which I cannot see us doing. However, people who are saying we cannot win the title already are having a kneejerk reaction. Last I heard the title was won in May and not the end of December. When our key players are back, even if Man Utd should overtake us, we can still catch them up and win the title.
