Politics / Re: Photos: Funny Things Nigerian Politicians Do To Remain In Power by Marleysmith: 12:02pm On Aug 26, 2014
Bluetooth2: You can never satisfy an average black man. A supposed politician comes home to identify with the masses, you will complain he's looking for votes. If he doesn't come and operate from Abuja, then he's arrogant and will likely win by hiring thugs and stuff ballot boxes with fake voters' card. If he's indifferent, it means he doesn't care about his constituency.

What is funny in Oshiomhole and Obi going to see people whose homes were awash by flood ? It may sound funny but you need to go ask George Bush what happened in the wake of hurricane katrina and its aftermath.

Yes, lobbying exist everywhere when it comes to political campaigns !
Bros, what's satisfying in this one?
You think every Nigerian would be deceived by their publicity stunts? Hell no! when it is time for election, that's when you see the rogue politicians identifying with the 'lowly' in order to gain favor and garner much votes to remain in power (exception is Gov Rochas; he has been doing that before now). Most of our politicians do not even have visions and foresight; they just go there to embezzle.
What pains me most is when a LG chairman makes borehole in a community and calls all the media houses to applaud him; it's crazy and annoying. SMH for Nigerian politics.
Family / Re: Some African Parents Destroy Beautiful Love Relationships With Their Prejudices by Marleysmith: 7:22am On Aug 22, 2014
My mum says do not marry an ijebu lady because they can kill at an early age. My father says do not marry from igbo tribe because they like money; they can force someone into money rituals. I became a little bit confused. And I love igbo ladies. But as I grow day by day I realise that my parents prejudice was bourne out of fear and false notions cos I see people of different tribes and backgrounds with successful marriages.
To even get a good future partner is not an easy task talkless of considering tribe and background. So if you have the gut feeling that this person is the right one for you, you had better convince your family in a gentle and subtle way to marrying them.
Education / Re: Male and Female Students Living in Same Apartment: Have Your Say by Marleysmith: 6:55pm On Aug 21, 2014
Dannyxy: cohabitation is a sin..

btw, I wonder why a lady will be giving a guy that she is not married to, everything that is supposed to be reserved for her husband, you cook for him, you have sexx with him, you wash his clothes, ahn ahn, which one you wan reserve for your husband now? nawa oh

That's why I say I must marry a virgin, call me judgemental, but that's my standard, if as a guy I can do without sexx, then what does a lady have as an excuse?(if she was ra.ped then it's understandable)..

Heheheheheheeh!!!! I laugh in swahili. You had better join Boko boys cos they easily get virgins. Out of 10 girls, you would probably get one to be a virgin (of which she has romance with some guy you don't know).

This is a very sensitive issue some folks are joking with.

Business / Re: Africa's Growth Potential- And Its "Next 10" Biggest Cities by Marleysmith: 6:15am On Aug 20, 2014
I always knew that some day IB will develop economically. Soon enough the days of amala and ewedu will be over and the city will move to the next level.
I certainly rep IB.
