I have to say this cos any time I see a lady with so much make-up,I feel disgusted
Why not enhance your looks naturallly instead of applying chemicals to your face,to be sincere I don't trip for ladies with make-up,I hate artificial and fake things, why decieve us that you are beautiful?
Some even go as far as using very expensive wigs.I was at a friends house recently and I saw her without her wig,was rili disappointed to say the least.
Abeg,we guys are always natural so pls try and be natural too, someone will always love you the way you are

PoliticsWhy I Left Apc-nuhu Ribadu by MarshRiley(op): 7:29am On Aug 20, 2014
Former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, yesterday said that he left the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to establish good governance in the country.

Following his defection to the PDP, Ribadu also said in a statement, yesterday, that he would not to antagonise his former associates in the APC, denying a statement credited to him where he had purportedly disparaged Governors Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State and Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State.
“I know how difficult it may be for you to come to terms with my defection to another party. But I must assure you that it’s a carefully considered decision for which I do not wish to hurt anyone’s feeling.

“I’ll not embark on a needless animosity with my good friends, irrespective of political, religious, regional and ethnic affiliations.
“Let me quickly make it known that I did not issue a statement disparaging APC and its members, including Governors Amaechi, Kwankwaso…These were clearly fabricated, expected backlash, by mischievous characters interested in misleading the public and drawing a picture of non-existent feuds between me and my good friends.
“My defection shouldn’t be seen as an initiation of political antagonism with my good friends in another party. I still hold them in high esteem, and even where there are marked differences, I believe there are decorous and honourable ways of resolving them. So, kindly disregard any statement said to be by me attacking the personality of any politician since my defection. I’ll never allow myself to be drawn into such disrespectful exchange.

As for my next step in this political struggle, this would be made known in due time. For now, I wish to assure you that my defection is in pursuit of a good cause, and never out of any selfish interests as portrayed by a section.

Thanks for bearing with me on this decision, and for those who have been in solidarity with my struggles and still giving me the benefits of the doubt, I’m most grateful. I’ll never let you down on this new path,” the statement posted on his facebook page read.
Reactions continue to trail Ribadu’s defection to the PDP as many followers of the former anti-graft agency boss express disappointment over his decision.

A facebook post on April 9 also made the defection shocking to many as Ribadu had denied plans to defect, slamming rumour mongers as spreading malicious falsehood.

I felt personally insulted by rumours making the rounds in this space over my alleged intention to dump my party, the All Progressives Congress, APC. There is no iota of truth in that malicious falsehood being peddled by persons who do not wish me and my great party any good.

I am a committed member of APC and I have no reason to lose confidence in the party. For the past seven days, I have been in my state of Adamawa helping to see to the smooth conduct of ward congresses and other coming elections.

I urge all my friends here to disregard that rumour as what it is; cheap blackmail from mischievous persons,” he wrote.
With the deed already done, Ribadu will be focusing on the PDP primaries, as he hopes to become the flag bearer of the party in Adamawa State governorship election on October 11.

Tell me what you say now?
Tell me what you say
Come again?
If you cannot stay down
Then you do not have to pretend
Like there is no way out
I shoulda never let you in
Cause you got me face down
And don't take this personal
But you're the worst
You know what you've done to me
And although it hurts I know
I just can't keep runnin' away

I don't need you
But I want you
I don't mean to
But I love you
Tell me what you say now
Tell me what you say?
You said that you would come again
You (said) that we would remain friends but
You know that I do not depend on
Nothing or no one
So why would you show up
So uninvited then
Just change my mind like that
Please don't take this personal
But you ain't shit
And you weren't special
Til I made you so
You better act like you know
That I've been through worse than you
I just can't keep running away
Still I don't need you but I love you

PoliticsAPC Reacts To Ribadu's Decampment by MarshRiley(op): 11:12am On Aug 19, 2014
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described the defection of one of its chieftains, Nuhu Ribadu, to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as ‘very terrible’.
Nuhu Ribadu
Reports surfaced on Saturday, August 16 that Ribadu, a former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, had decamped to the ruling party, PDP.
Reacting to the defection, the National Chairman of the APC, John Odigie-Oyegun who spoke with Premium Times in a telephone interview on Sunday, said Ribadu’s action was merely a confirmation of the level to which the Nigerian society had degenerated.
Oyegu expressed disappointment that a man of his calibre would fall into temptation because of governorship position.

He said: “For a man of his calibre to say the things he has said on record and still did this, is disappointing. If he had done this six months ago that would have been understandable. But just because of nomination, you fell for it, even if it is the main election. (Buba) Marwa is there; the Speaker is there. This is rock bottom. Haba wetin! The disconnection is too direct.

I hope you understand the point I am making. I am not sad because of the APC, but because it reflects on the condition of the Nigerian elite and the kind of things they fall for. For the APC, there is no problem. People go, people come, but for this nation, it is a very sad commentary. It makes you unhappy.”

However, Oyegun said the APC wishes him luck in his new party.
He explained that the time has come when the nation should have politicians of principle, adding that things like this cannot continue.
had told this newspaper that the former EFCC boss had registered as a member of the party and given party membership card.
Mr. Ribadu, a retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, was the

Reports surfaced recently that Ribadu was trying to decamp to PDP and had met with President Jonathanand got the president’s approval to go for the soon to be vacant governorship position in Adamawa state.
Ribadu was the presidential candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in the 2011 elections.
ACN later merged with the All Nigeria Peoples Party, ANPP, the Congress for Progressives Change, CPC, and a faction of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA to form the APC.

madamoringo: May you fhoolish posters call sick so seriously and need serious medical help in hospitals where all doctors and nurses are on strike! Then, may you sit and wait and wait and beg and plead while your life slowly leaves you as you beg for medical help while PDP and retardoGEJ keeps playing with Oboli and TAN. Ribadu is broke and needs money desperately. It shows poverty is powerful enough to rob almost anyone of their values and common sense. This is exactly the game governments and PDP have been doing for years in Nigeria with a lot of success! Make the people poor and suffer, even a Ribadu kick him out of EFCC and police and in just 3 - 4 years he will be grovelling before the same people be arrested and put in jail! He will be in the same party as ibori, Andoakaa, odili, Fayose and co! He will be next to the same Patience Goodluck he almost put in jail! Wishing him all the best and he better be right with this move.
You sound so bitter, try and get some positivity into your life bro.....and by the way,who told you ribadu is broke, nawa o,am very sure you don't know him in person
PoliticsWhat Ribadu's Return To The PDP Thought Me by MarshRiley(op): 12:02am On Aug 18, 2014
After news emerged that mallam Nuhu Ribadu has returned to the PdP,I sat down and thought of the repercusions
1.APC has lost a very important person in their party and have bin weakened considerably

2.GEJ and the current PDP chairman are chief strategist
3.PDP still has the upper hand in 2015 elections
4.APC's politics of blaming the opposition is failling
5.Politicians are not to be trusted, wether pdp or apc
6.Am waiting for el-rufai's statements(one of the silliest politician in the country)
I hope we've learned from this occurance that this people are just using us,a lot of people come here and quarrel with people they dnt even know over this APC/PDP thing, when the fact remains that they don't have us at heart,APC are just after power and PDP are just after retaining power
So pls when they tell you to kill your fellow Nigerian come 2015 election, tell them to send their Children
P.S-Am neither a PDP nor an APC member

PoliticsRe: Do The North Really Have Visionary Leaders??? by MarshRiley(op): 4:38pm On Aug 13, 2014
MeAboki: OP represents an increasingly growing number of educated southern illiterates, wallowing in bigotry, often too lazy to use their brain to reason when confronted with issues requiring basic logic; but rather relying on a preloaded mindset filled with stereotypical prejudices about their northern brethrens.

I bet the OP has probably never set foot anywhere northwards beyond the shores of River Niger; yet he still feels comfortable about writing and passing judgement on a ppl and region he hardly knows let alone understands.

Evidently, the OP had not been current or keeping abreast with the subject of his interest; otherwise he would have noticed several statements and advice emanating from prominent northern elders, some even availing themselves for service on the on the ongoing problem of Boko Haram insurgency - while some have even paid with their lives.
The latest of such being an ultimatum to the president to resolve the problem by October this year; it was even covered in a here on NL yet OP remains oblivious and completely ignorant.

http://dailypost.ng/2014/08/11/breaking-northern-elders-give-jonathan-october-deadline-end-boko-haram-insurgency%E2%80%8B-produce-chibok-girls/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter

https://www.nairaland.com/1853163/northern-elders-give-jonathan-october

In his myopic mind he expects northerners form a parallel government (allegedly like APC threatened) and a parallel army (like the Iraqis) to fight Boko haram, forgetting that we already have a government in place and not minding why is the said govt not doing enough; and what would be the consequence of having widespread weapons within the civilian population and even more worsening of the threat to national security.

Well, if northern leaders are not visionary then what would he say about the president, the current champion from the south, apparently representing the best from what the more visionary southern region could offer; but who in reality had been more a liability than an asset, a divisive clannish leader rather than a unifying one, a man who had chosen to preside over unprecedented corruption and who himself epitomise corruption, a man working towards a place in history as the worst president Nigeria ever had, whose ineptitude and utterances along with those of his embarrassing wife is turning Nigeria into the laughing stock of the international community.

OP, charity begins at home, before you can point accusing fingers at anyone else pls start with your own, the shoeless clueless one at Aso Rock, who has been putting personal ambition over and above man and God to the extent of forgetting/ignoring his primary constitutional responsibilities - such as national security.

Pls answer this:
Are northern leaders the Commanders in Chief?
Do they have access to or manage our defence budget which run in billions?
Do they control or have access to the security agencies or intelligence?
Do they control the Nigerian army?
Have they not been speaking against Boko Haram, and have they and their ppl not being killed like chickens without adequate protection?

Pls if you have nothing better to say, don't come here and vomit nonsensical propaganda which even you yourself cannot defend.
I wasn't going to reply anybody here but I think its necesarry I clear somethings from your head
1.Am a northerner
2.I school in the north
3.I live in the north
4.Because of your silly way of reasoning, you think anybody that critices the north is a southerner...
You need to grow up and widen your knowledge,am sure that'll help you

PoliticsDo The North Really Have Visionary Leaders??? by MarshRiley(op): 9:18am On Aug 12, 2014
Peregrino Brimah of the Every Nigerian Do Something initiative, in his article titledAs Boko Haram takes Over The North: What Northern Leadership?, says only the iron grip of a strong, "young, dynamic" men will save the region from the claws of Boko Haramand other ill-wishers.
"People usually carelessly refer to a ‘Northern leadership,’ like such body exists.
A certain spook body that sets itself up and positions itself to procure certain advantage for its people.
A so-called Northern leadership that ensured Northerners led Nigeria for about 60% of its life-span, and that this leadership hold was for their advantage, in the North that is.
"Today, as Boko Haram again seizes a huge chunk of the North and displaces thousands more farmers, the North’s only source of income, I am tempted to ask – What Northern leadership? Boko Haram has been comfortably sitting on Damboa and surrounding territories.
"We have not heard a sound from that Northern leadership as a deadly menacing army is being empowered and enabled to soon conquer their North. Northern leadership? Boko Haram killed the former Emir of Gwoza. Where was that so-called Northern leadership to ensure his killers were brought to justice? We didn’t hear a sound.
"Now, my expectations of a Northern leadership may not be clear to you. Let’s take a look at what the leadership of the APC said in reference to anticipated rigging in Osun State. The leadership said as regards that act of sabotage, that if it so happened, they will establish a parallel government in Osun. Yes, this was a brazen, spine-full, deliberate promise of serious action in the event of the electoral undermining of the people of Osun.
"This was a statement that if the people of Osun are terrorized by the government, the APC will not mind going to whatever cost to secure the rights and protection of the people. That was a leadership statement from a people concerned about an issue. So where do we see the similar leadership statements and reactions from that "Northern leadership" in answer to the arming with arsenal, APCs and tanks from the Nigerian military, of Boko Haram to displace millions of their Northern citizens (4 million farmers in latest counts) and the killing of almost 100,000?
"Where is the Northern elders’ urgent summit on the terror situation affecting the North and the deliberate resolutions to take over the security of their dying people and territory? Are the so-called Northern leaders waiting and looking for dancing Jonathan, who has done nothing toward safe-guarding the life of their citizens in 5 years so-far, except systematically transfer ammunition and vehicles of the Nigerian army to the terrorists, to suddenly turn a new leaf and help them address the crisis in their ward?
"The instance ISIS began its reign of terror in Iraq, within the first week, the religious leadership in Iraq called for the arming of civilians, to volunteer to fight. 1.5 million Civilians answered the call, and these men have been the critical resistance that prevented a globally armed and trained anti-Syria ISIS militia from conquering the entire Iraq. Where is such a call from the so-called Northern leadership? What have they done and decided must be done in the reality of the worst terror situation in the world today at home in their region in Nigeria?

I see a vacuum in the North. Some young, dynamic Northern or North-based men need to step-up and fill this vacuum, because if not, Boko Haram will continue gleefully occupying it."
What is, in your opinion, the best way to govern Northern Nigeria and eventually solve the problems of the region?I think our so called leaders from the north should think of our people first before their own selfish political ambitions
Nairaland GeneralThe Nigerian Youth Of Our Time by MarshRiley(op): 11:08pm On Aug 11, 2014
I have always thought Nigeria had a very bright future until I joined Nairaland
This forum has helped me to get an insight into how the average Nigerian youth from the West,East,South and North thinks and this is what I have noticed

1.The Average Nigerian youth have problem reading and understanding a writeup once its upto 30 or more lines

2.The Average Nigerian youth will see the truth but act like it doesn't exist cos of Religion and Ethnicity

3.The Average Nigerian youth doesn't know more thanm he's told,he belives his/her boss,Religious leader, political mentor is always right

4.The Average Nigerian youth has little or no thirst for knowledge,he's after quick and easy money

5.The Average Nigerian youth never takes things serious, like ASA said "there's fire on the mountain and no one seems to be on the run"

6.The Average Nigerian youth is just a tool being used by first and foremost His/Her Religious leaders and then her political leaders
You just need to go through comments on Religious and Political post to see whar am talking about
May God help the future of this country(Amen)
