Amaechi got Port Harcourt as the Book Capital of the World due to investment in education. That is record-breaking. Princeton University did not call him to crack Jokes with him. Download the full text and read the records of your next President |

TheGoodJoe: Record-joking.
Amaechi got Port Harcourt as the Book Capital of the World due to investment in education. That is record-breaking. And Tinubu made Lagos state the first choice for Investors in Africa. Something all of Nigerians are now benefiting from today, something that did not exist before 1999 |

JohnBullMySon: It's not about using the best language. Someone who you claim was in the details of improving Lagos should definitely be able to speak in details on what he hopes to achieve.
However, he has not said anything of great value, only stoking party loyalty and trying to become the flagbearer based on sentiments.
By the way, hope you know that BAT is a weaker candidate than PYO. He's strong in the party but weaker in the country. Because he will not defeat Atiku in the North. The South East are more likely to give votes to Atiku than Tinubu even though Obi is definitely strong there. The SS is definitely going for Atiku.
The Middle belt are definitely voting Atiku but it might be a close contest. Only the south west is secured for Tinubu. Go and read his speech. |

TheGoodJoe: Abstract Bola Tinubu, former governor of the state of Lagos in Nigeria, reflects on his administration’s successes in reforming the civil service, reducing corruption, and improving state infrastructure. He details the process he went through to reform the state government, from the waste management system to financial mismanagement within the public sector. Tinubu lays out the steps he took to improve incentives for civil servants, including salary increases, improving quality and hygiene of working environments, and teaching investment principles and how to work toward home ownership. His payroll-system reforms removed thousands of ghost workers from the system. Tinubu explains how he applied principles he learned in the corporate world to the public sector reform effort. Tinubu also details the steps he took in removing endemic corruption in the public sector, which included eliminating cash payments to the government. He discusses how he brought back expatriates to improve the hospitals and transportation system. He also touches on the difficulties in working with a federal government that sometimes undermined reform efforts.
Na wa. This is what he had to offer as Governor. Like men... More Terrible than Terrabel.
This is who they are comparing with Amaechi. Thats an abstract from an Interview that was conducted for him by Princeton University in the USA, one of the best Universities in the World. He was interviewed about his record breaking achievements in the state of Lagos. I suggest you download the full Text to know the mammoth you are cmparing with your turkey |

JohnBullMySon: Before Tinubu and after Tinubu, Lagos has always been a favourable investment destination. It doesn't matter who sits there.
If Tinubu was this good, it should have shown in his statements. However, he has ridden on sentiments to assert himself. Nigeria under Tinubu, hmmm..... You all will still complain. We don't need someone that can speak eloquently but has no vision. The Lagos of before 1999 was an eye sore before Tinubu came on board. Most notable Investments Like the Eko atlantic, The IPP project(stolen by the fg) etc came after Tinubu. Dangote wanted to stay in Ondo, Tinubu and the then Lagos state govt where the ones that convinced him to move to Lagos. Lagos was reorganized from the dying slump the Fed govt left it to a states that now gives Life. Now, there is an array of vital infrastructures like road, train, improved security, viable business environment, housing, better health care systems, schools and others when compared to other cities in Nigeria. These were not there when your Fed govt was using it as capital He did not ride on sentiments, he rode on his past achievement as Governors |

Viraltrends123: LOL, when it comes to achievement, if you are conversant with Nigeria's politics, you will give it to Tinubu. Oil companies pay tax to Federal government, stop lying.
Host states gets 15% derivatives and other offers.
Just say you like Ameachi. I wanted to reply him, but when I saw " it was not Tinubu's brilliance that helped lagos cope" Tinubu that met Lagos IGR at 600 million and increased it to 7 billion within 8 years of his tenure. Teachers did not go on strike Doctors did not go on strike Free health care He even built schools in various LGAs |

People supporting Tinubu are of sound mind infact Intelligent and Objective in their thinking, they are not following the crowd. I personally, is supporting the Jagaban because of his blazing past record and the Opportunities he has created for alot of people, directly and indirectly. When the records start rolling out about how brilliant and what an achiever he his, the only support base Peter Obi will have left in the SW, will be the Labour Party secretariat.
They call him corrupt but even an opposition govt in power could not pin any thing on him |

tonididdy: Oh please... Recall Lagos was the capital of Nigeria before, what do you expect You also can not compare the vibrancy levels between then and now. Tinibu is old, worn out and is best a godfather of the SW. Lol Lagos was a capital, but the present Capital pf 30years can't compare in terms of Investment. Capital states don't attract investment, Idealistic states do. Eko atlantic, Lekki free zone, Light rail, BRT, Independent power generation facility, where were they before 1999. Even Tinubu had a hand in the movement of dangote refinery to Lagos from Ondo We are always thinking upside down in Africa. Biden you made Reference to in your previous message, what is his age again? But it is tinubu that is to Old to run for office. Straighten your thinking before you talk. |

tonididdy: Osinbanjo will stand out standing besides Biden Putin Trudeau Boris Olaf
... In the same context picture tinibu besides these same men... It will be an awful sight.
A man who can match an Englishman diction word for word. A man aware that this is the 21st century of flying cars and space expeditions. No candidate spoke of technology advancement unless PYI. Does tinibu even know the names of all the solar planets ?
Obi is good but the party doesn't cut it. They have no grassroots. In Nigeria only PDP and APC have grassroots stretches. just imagine a combo of PYI and OBI as VP
I hope the crowd in the eagles square today be wise, take the bribe but do what's right!... I watched an Interview session conducted between Tinubu and some white investors. This was when he was still a Governor. When Oil was still a booming business in the Nigerian international space, tinubu during the process of the interview called Oil a curse. Instead of investing in the Oil exploration activities in Lagos, he called it a curse and focused on making Lagos state have the New York view. He was telling investors about, how they were going to build Lagos to standard and create better Infrastructure to ease the stress on their investments. And now Lagos is the official Investment hub of Nigeria. Tinubu is not your average Nigerian. |

Obasanjo only suspended local government allocations for about 2 years due to the disagreement over creation of local governments by Lagos State Government. Tinubu went borrowing from banks. Yaradua released the backlog of allocations to Fashola immediately he came in. What did I say that is wrong, did Obasanjo not with hold Allocations that came from the Federal Govt, which was meant to help the state function properly Do you think any average Governor today can function well, If half of their Allocation are with with held. |

When it comes to Positive achievement as Governors, Tinubu dwarfs Ameachi, even with limited resources. If Ameachi was in Tinubus shoes with no federal allocation, no 13% derivative. I wonder how he would have performed. When comparing them on the basis of their performance as Governors, Tinubu comes Ontop. |
