REDACTED: Turkish source utilized footage from “Braquo” as footage of the Khashoggi murder. The shocking images were leaked today by Turkish authorities working on the case against Saudi Arabia’s murder of Jamal Khashoggi in the Saudi consulate in Turkey. The leaks are the first photographic reports that show the alleged dismemberment of Jamal Khashoggi by an ‘A-Team’ from Saudi Arabia’s intelligence authority. The Turkish reports have not been independently verified.
The Saudi team flew into Turkey after confirmations were made for Jamal Khashoggi’s appointment in the Saudi Arabian consulate in Turkey. A Saudi public prosecutor has stated “Khashoggi died after being drugged and then dismembered” as the trial on 5 members involved progress in the country. The body was then taken outside to be transported by another Saudi Arabian agent who disposed of the remains in an acid.
Initially, Saudi Arabia denied Khashoggi had been murdered, stating he left the consulate. Following an international outcry, the Saudi Arabian leadership promoted a narrative that Khashoggi was involved in a sporadic fist fight that led to his death. However, the narrative failed to explain where his body was and was quickly dismissed by Turkish investigators. Turkish investigators found evidence consisting of a highly planned murder by the Saudi Arabian government and have shared much of the evidence with international partners. Saudi Arabia is currently investigating 21 individuals tied to the murder, many calling it an attempt to “break the killer’s knife”, with no punishments anticipated for the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammad bin Salman.

Bunmi Ojo, an ally of Segun Oni, an aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election in Ekiti state, is dead.

Oni was the runner-up in the exercise won by Kayode Fayemi, governor-elect of the state.

A source told TheCable that Ojo was shot dead in Ado-Ekiti, capital of the state, on Friday night.

“He was trailed to a viewing centre in Ado-Ekiti. Immediately they identified him, his killers opened fire on him,” the source said.

Ahmad Salkida, journalist known for having access to the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents, insists that 98 of 113 Chibok schoolgirls in captivity have died.

In a series of tweets on Saturday, Salkida said many of the girls died as a result of crossfires from security forces that were supposed to rescue them.

“I regret to state here that only 15 out of the 113 #Chibokgirls are alive today, based on my investigations in the last three months.” Salkida had said, asking that, “what is the status of the remaining 15 girls as far as negotiations are concerned?”

He also said his investigations revealed that the remaining girls were no longer under the control of Abubakar Shekau, a factional leader of the sect. “According to sources, they are now ‘married’ and only their ‘husbands’ can decide their fates,” Salkida explained.

The federal government, however, dismissed Salkida’s claims.

Garba Shehu, senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, had said the facts available to the government indicated that all the remaining girls in Boko Haram captivity were alive.

The defence headquarters had also dismissed Salkida’s claims, calling it an attempt to discourage the government.

Reacting, Salkida, in a tweet on Sunday, challenged the government to provide video evidence that the schoolgirls are still alive.

“What I don’t get is, did Govt provide life saving drugs, bulletproof vests and bunkers for the #Chibokgirls in captivity amidst harsh conditions, daily crossfires and bombardments? I threw a challenge, Govt or the insurgents can only refute me with a proof of life video,” he wrote.
