National Youth Conference: The time to come to the table is now, Youth Minister

The Nigerian Youth have been urged to take advantage of the forthcoming National Youth Conference 2021 to engage with each other and the government in the most amicale and productive manner possible. The honourable Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare, said this on Wednesday in Lagos, while launching the website for the conference, www.nationalyouthconference.ng.

The Minister said the collective and individual energies and intellect of young Nigerians must be harnessed before the country could achieve much desired progress.

"Our youth are some of the most courageous, creative, enterprising and vocal in the world," Mr. Dare said. "However, we need to have a platform to harness the thoughts and views of the Youth and this must be done under a cordial, organised and productive atmosphere. The time to come to the table is now. That is why we have put together the National Youth Conference 2021. The conference is being powered by the private sector and development agencies."

The theme of the conference is "Energizing The Youth For Development: Inclusiveness, Governance, Security & Employment." It is scheduled for three days at The Velodrome, Abuja. Over 500 Youth are expected to physically attend while millions will be watching and contributing to the proceedings online. Each state and the FCT are expected to send 10 delegates cutting across genders, educational attainments and disabilities. .

-Greedy BDC/speculators/ Abokifx that are making millions of naira every day, just to get dollar at a good rate, hoard it, and create scarcity, then increase the value. And make aboki to publish it, then all Nigeria use it as new rate.

SOLUTION TO THIS DOLLAR TO NAIRA are:
- Let any registered business owner be able to get Dollar from any Bank, so parallel market won't have much effect again. It can even be certain amount per month.

-Let China Yuan be in our foreign reserve, so Nigerians can send yuan to China, bypassing the dollar that is not useful for Nigeria and China. Since 70% of importation is from China.

-CBN should have a functional website that everyone can check, than relying on site like Aboki that can be compromised by speculators for their own gain.

It’s amazing how many of us here don’t realize why. It’s just the same reason corruption is endemic in Nigeria.
There’s a huge chasm between LOVE and RESPECT; and the two don’t always go together. Love may be an emotion and is dynamic but respect is usually earned and legitimate. We dread disrespecting because there are consequences, same way people will dread corruption if there are penalties.
Men cheat on women apparently more because they have no respect(fear factor) for them even though they truly love them. In the event he is caught, there are virtually no real penalties. Where there are penalties, he won’t.
In comparison, women tend to be a little restricted after a certain age. As they get older and have kids, the demand for them falls. If they cheat and are caught, the marriage ends, she gets berated and usually there isn’t another viable man out there to take them in. Even worse, they may not have been independent. SO THERE ARE GRAVE CONSEQUENCES, unlike what happens to the males.
So if a man is married to a woman who has earned his respect, he cannot cheat. He will keep weighing the consequences. Mostly, he can’t get a woman of that quality ever again. So ladies, build yourself up and try to earn respect in your homes and you can be sure he won’t cheat on you.
