CHAPTER TEN
she drove into the compound and parked her car,she noticed richard was already home.she went inside after carrying her handbang from inside the car.immediately she entered she could feel the aroma of something coming from the kitchen as she saw different kinds of wine on the table she wondered what was going on.as she about stepping into the kitchen richard came out,they almost bumped into each other.
"richard whats going on?"
"well i thought we should after the meeting with the foreigners,i was really proud of you,so all you need to do is just relax the food is almost ready and then we make a toast"
"oh..thats so sweet of you but you shouldnt have bothered"
"its been a long day so you need all the rest you can get,so its not a bother its something am happy to do,so just do as i have said"
"alright"she nodded and placed her handbag beside her,sitting down,on the table she saw roasted chicken,just what she needed,she quickly took the cutleries,without wasting time she began to slice and eat.the taste of the chicken was great.after some minutes he came back,opened the wine and poured some into two glasses,the both stood up to make a toast.
"for the success of the meeting and for a greater future for the company.cheers"they raised their glasses up,and one could hear their glasses colliding.both took a sip from the glass.
"the food is served,do you want to eat now?"
"of course"she finished the content in the glass and headed to the dining table,richard took a plate and served her with jollof rice and fried rice which was hot and a whole roasted chicken beside.she swallowed her saliva as she couldnt wait to start eating,he also poured her a glass full of juice richard also served himself and sat down.they both said a short prayer and began to eat.after eating about halfway they heard the horn of car at the gate catherine and richard looked at each other and wondered who it was,he stood and looked through the window,he could recognise mr anthony car.he went back to the table.
"its your dad"
"my dad!what is he doing here by this time of the day"she checked her wristwatch it was almost 8pm.perhaps he was coming from somewhere.she stopped eating and covered it as they both went to meet him.he was coming down from his jeep when she came outsdie
"dad! What are you doing here?.its late already
"i just came to congratulate you on the success of the meeting,when i heard the report from my P.A i felt very proud of you.so i said i must say hello to you once i finish service from church"
"i understand your point,but you could have called instead of going through all the trouble of coming here"
"still i wanted to see you myself.he looked at richard who was smiling as he prostrated.
"my son how are you?"
"am fine sir.you came at the right time sir we were already eating when you came in,so lets go inside and you join us for dinner"he looked hesitant
"my wife is going to scold me,am sure she would have prepared dinner for me.and she hates it when she prepares dinner and i dont eat it
"i understand dad but you should at least eat something,just a small quantity will do
"alright"they all went inside as the driver stayed in the car.once at the dining table he served him and poured him juice also.catherine couldnt help but admire her father as she watched.
"dad,how is your health?"
"i feel great these days the fellowship am attending is helping enormously as they very loving and understanding people.i fell like i can run a marathon race."she grinned at the word marathon my foot.totally impossible his sense of humor is still intact.richard bursted out laughing as he couldnt hold it in
"thats really good to hear.and make sure you relax very well and take your drugs"
"of course your mother see to it that i always eat and take my drugs".he finished eating and stood up.i think i should be on my way.
"alright dad"they both accompanied him to his car and waved him goodbye as his car drove out of the compound::::TBC

CATHERINE
she sat down in her office as she was working on her computer puting the finishing touches to her presentation.soon the investors would be around and she needed to be prepared.the landline started to ring and she picked it.it was her new secretary whom she just hired some days ago
"hello ma.someone named mr fred is here to see you"she wondered what he was doing here.she could remember telling him he was going to be busy all through the day,the last thing she needed was someone disturbing her with useless talk
"alright let him in"he the receiver,some seconds later a knock sounded on the door
"please come in"the door slowly opened and fred came in
"hey fred whatsup?
"am good babe.am really sorry to disturb you.i know you are very busy but i just wanted to say hello to you,am on my to visit one of my friends so i just decided to branch at your office and say hi."
"thats thoughful of you.thanks you so much for that.please have your seat"she watched as he sat down then a call came in she picked it and listened to the caller after droping the call she stood up
"am sorry fred i need to go.i just received a call that the foregn investors are here i hope you understand"she said this as she packed the files containing the necessary materials
"of course.i understand i remember you mentioned something like that yesterday"
"thank you "after she finished packing she quickly huried out while fred followed behind,she locked the door to her office and headed to the meeting room::****

mr anthony just received a call that the meeting with the incestors was a success,he smiled as he was very proud of her daughter who was doing a great job at the helm of affairs of the company,he was relieved that even if he died he would not be worried about the future of his company.he looked at his wristwatch it was almost time to go for fellowship,which was now part of him since his death was near.he did a short prayer and after doing that he changed his clothes and headed outside.:...*****

she stood there not knowing what to do,she just had a flat tire,worse she was standing in the sun looking around hoping to see a vulcanizer but there was none,passerby didnt offer to help.she picked her phone from her purse and dialed richard number but it was unreachable.suddenly a black g-wagon packed in front of her own car she wondered who it could be,a young handsome tall man came down he was wearing dark shade making it difficult for her to see his face clearly,he approached her,removed his spec,she couldnt believe his eyes.
"fred! Is this really you?"she forgot her problem for a while and threw herself on him almost throwing him off balance.
"yeah..its been a long time cat."she smelled nice there was no doubt about that,which was one of the reason he liked her before he went to the u.k,scotland to be precise.she always dressed in a killer way making all men drool at the sight of her.he detached from her
"what is an angel like you doing in this hot sun?"he asked her concerned
"i had a puntured tyre,and i was looking for help but none came"she said that still smiling at him,she was truly happy to see him
"now am here,am going to be your helping angel if there is something like that"she smiled at the joke.he looked at his wristwatch."where exactly are you going,so that i can drop you off"
"am going back to the office and moreso what about my car?"
"i will call my mechanic and he will help you fix it then he will drive it back to your house"
"i cant leave my car to someone i dont knw"
"dont worry,i assure he is a trustworthy person.we will frist drive to his shop and you will drop your keys and everything will sorted out"he could see she was worried
"alright."
"i know you are scared but anything that happens i will take full responsibility"she was convinced and nodded in agreement,she locked the car after taking her handbag.and they walked to his car.

he sat on the sofa which was in his large sitting room,he had never imagined that he would meet catherine one day.he could remember when they were both in the university they had dated and planed their future together,but God know best for all his creature.he smiled at himself as he drank the wine.he picked up his and dialled her number.they had previously exchanged numbers during thier encounter.it rang a few times before she picked it
"hello cat its me fred"
"oh! Fred thanks for your help today,i really appreciate it"
"dont mention,i only did what any good samaritan would have done"
"alright.i wanted to ask about your family the other time but it skipped my mind.hope everyone is okay?"
"of course,dad and mum are in the u.s for a business seminar while my two sisters are in school"
"extend mah greetings to them"
"of course.the reason i called is because perhaps we could hang out tomorrow"he was hearing a voice in the background,it was a male voice he could tell.
"am sorry fred i wish i could but i have a lot of work in the office tomorrow some froeign investors are coming,and moreso now that my dad has left the management of the company to me,my workload has increased two fold.am sorry"
"its alright.maybe some other time when you have time"
"sure"
"is someone there with you?"
"yes.thats my husband"he thought he didnt hear her well
"your what!.you didnt tell me you were married"
"sorry about that,i got married some weeks ago.i will introduce him to you later"
"alright"he heard as she yawned as he could tell she was tired"alright let me release you.i wish you a beautiful night rest"
"and you to"he ended the calldropping the phone beside him..he couldnt believe she was already married..he stood up and went inside.

after dropping the call he wondered who it was,he guessed it must be a guy,but he couldnt ask her.more importantly he hasnt been able to sleep after how he spoke so rudely to her,she deserved better treatment from him,he stood up from where he was sitting and sat beside her.she shifted immediately as she as scared.what was he trying to do!.he noticing this quickly spoke in an attempt to assure her.
"am sorry i scared you,but i dont want you to be scared.i just want to say sorry"
"for what exactly?"
"for the way i spoke to you yesterday and what i did"she finally got the message.this was her own chance to also get her revenge "i never knew you also have a brain because if you had i wonder why you didnt use it"what the hell!.he was trying to be a gentleman but she was insulting him.he stood up
"whats that supposed to mean cat.just because am apologizing doesnt give you the license to insult me"
"oh!you came with the thought in your head that if i just apologize to her she would accept.am not a fool richard."he knew she was upset but he never imagined it would be this hard.he didnt know what else to do,so he went down on his knees
"am sorry cat.am really sorry,fighting wont do us any good,lets just put our differences beside and live in harmony,pending the time the contract will expire and moreso think about your dad,if he hear us fighting he wont be happy.so let the sleeping dog lie."what he said sank into her as she felt sorry..
"am sorry also for what i said earlier.and you are right.we are two matured people,so we should act matured.have forgiven you"she smiled urging him to stand up.he stood up and said goodnyte and retired for that night::TBC

she wondered what they had been doing for the past one hour,she dropped the remote and walked slowly she stopped abruptly when she heard moans coming from the room..what the Bleep! She couldnt believe her ears.how can he be doing that kind of thing in their matrimonial home what if one of their family members comes in.she was more than pissed.she went back and continued wacthing t.v..
after about thirty minutes they came out,she could see the wicked grin on sandra,which suggested to her that she did it deliberatetly,she felt like grabbing her hair and pulling it out.but she managed to control her temper..she heard her saying goodbye with the wicked grin still on her face nd she and richard went out.he came back after seeing her off..she stood up immediately.
"richard we need to talk"he looked at her surprised,what could she want to possibly talk about.
"about what?."he sat pouring himself some juice.rxpecting her to talk
"have you lost your mind,richard how can you do such a filthy thing"his facial expression changed immediately.
"whats that supposed to mean?.what could i possibly have done to make you make such a statement"
"i think you know better what am talking about.and if you want to do your thing not in our matrimonial home"he finally got the message.she must have the moans coming from his room.
"are you talking about what happened between me and sandra..i thought i was free to do anything i want.you said so yourself.whats exactly your problem cat?
"doing what you like in our matrimonial home.what if one of my family member come in?
"and so?listen carefully to me catherine.i want you to always remember the fact that this a contract and nothing more.so dont lecture me on what to do.as to what you said it is my problem to solve not yours.so stay the hell out of my business!!"he grabbed his car keys and stormed out
of the house.how could he be so cold to her..she felt almost felt like crying..as she strecthed herself on the sofa and turned the dstv to another channel..TBC

it has been a long day there was no doubt about that he was very tired.the work load was very heavy.and he has just been promoted to the assistant to the CEO,which was because of the deal he had with catherine.the whole company was filled with the rumors of thier wedding which left a lot of staffs shocked.he was also hungry,he didnt know whether he should stop by at a restaurant to eat something but he was someone who doesnt fancy food from outside he believed home made food was the best.he pressed the horn loudly twice before the gateman opened the gate as he drove in.he saw his wifes car outside,she had left the office earlier because she left all the work to him..he came down,locked the car and went inside,timmediately he entered the strong aroma of the delicacy hit his nose,which made his stomach groul all d more,he tipped toed to the kitchen and saw catherine busy prepring soup.

catherine felt a presence,she turned and saw him just staring
"what are you staring at?.he was jolted back to life when he heard her voice.
"i just came in some moment ago and the aroma of the soup drew me here"
"i heard the honking of your car horn"
"so what is it you are preparing?"
"just efo riro with amala.am sure you are tired,so just go in and shower then come back,the food would be ready by then"
"alright.and thank you"he licked his lips as he couldnt wait to devour the meal,he quickly rushed into the bedroom since they had both decided to have seperate rooms.he removed his clothes and went into the bathtub...****

after the meal,he sat in the large sitting to watch the evening news,a call came in it was sandra,
"hi sandra.how was your day?"
"it was fine am at the front of your house"he looked at catherine surprised,who wasnt even looking at his side at all.he stood up and went to the gate,he opened the gate and saw sandra standing looking very sexy,he swallowed hard,she was wearing a short gown which was above her knee and the gown was revealing her cleavage,he was totally lost.
"i know you are surprised to see me but i intentionally wanted to surprise you"
"there is no doubt,you are a good presnt,come in"he moved aside as he allowed her to come in,and closed the gate,as the gateman stood and watched on as they both entered.catherine was surprised when she saw sandra.
"sandra,why didnt you call ahead and tell us you were coming"
"i wanted to surprise richard"richard stood up
"so what would like to take?"
"ha..dont worry richard am alright.i ate before coming,so i would rather take juice"he dissapeared and was later back with a tray with some meat and juice he served her on a stool and sat close to her as they continued gisting..when she was done he returned it back to the kitchen,he later came back and pulled her up
"lets go into my room"he helped her with her bag as they both went inside the bedroom..TBC

after the food mr anthony called him richard,he knew the old man wanted to say something,he could feel it.he was sitting in the garden with juice in front of him..the man was still handsome even though he was old.he stood in front of him,waiting for him to say something,he pointed at the seat in front of him,indicating for him to sit down.he took and another sip and relaxed back..
"richard,what are your plans for the future?"the question sounded strange,
he thought about what kind of answer he would give
"well..my plans is for me to take of care of my wife very well and am also thinking about starting a business"
"thats good plan for an average man,i believe you can do more than that,am not saying your plans are not okay but i would be glad if you can be a little more ambitious.i was once like you thinking once i get a good job and some business i would be able to take care of my family but i found out later that human wants and needs are insatiable and also in this world that we are in,only the rich and influential people are recognised.the poor continue to suffer,so my bottom line is be ambitious."

"am tasking you and your wife with the work of the company,you know i am capable so am leaving everything in your hands.i want you to assist your wife and from now on you are now a member of the board of directors,i will tell othr members about it"

"of course.i have no doubt that you are up to the task.well thats all i want to say and when you go inside tell your wife that me and my wife would soon be going"
"why?i suggest you spend the night here,the house is big enough"
"no..no.i dont want to disturb you guyz,am sure you will need some kind of privacy,so we would be on our way"
"alright sir i will tell her"he stood up and walked back into the mansion,he saw catherine sitting with her mom he walked up to them and relayed the message,mrs anthony stood up and went outside to meet her husband.while it remained two of them,he sat down where she was sitting before and poured himself a drink.
"i think we need to talk"she was surprised.
"talk about what exactly"
"about what happened in paris".she had always been avoiding talking about that incident and today wont be an exception
"am sorry richard there is nothing to talk about,i told you whatever happened,happened because of a moment of weakness,i hope you dont make it into any big deal"

"of course,i hope you had a great time over there"
"definitely,it was fun.since you are here,you might as well take a seat"
"of course i should"she located a seat and sat down while richard sat beside her as they continued with thier conversation...mrs anthony beckoned on her daughter to come."mom,why did yu call me?..he pointed at the lady who came in some moments ago
"who is that lady who just came in"
"you mean the one talking with my husband".she smiled as she got her message
"ohh.dont worry she is a friend of his,he told they met when he was serving and they have been good friends since then"she quickly thought of that lie to cover...
"alright,just be careful women of nowadays can do anything"

the air was nice,it was so good to be back,the saying that there is no place like home is indeed true.he couldnt wait to get back to sandra his love,he smiled at the thought.the car was already waiting when they got down from the plane.with the help of the driver their luggages was loaded into the trunk of the car and they drove off.in about two hours time they got to the mansion,when the car drove in he was surprised everyone was waiting to welcome them.mrs and mrs anthony,emeka and some of his colleaugues at work were also there.emeka was outside ready to greet them.one citing his friend coming down from the s.u.v that brought them,he moved closer for a hug.."welcome home my friend"
"thank you so much emeka."he smiled as they both detached.
"well i must say you look different i think the weather over there is nice"
"of course"emeka looked at catherine was smiling.he bowed his head in show of respect"welcome boss"she felt a little bit uncomfortable with how he adressed her even though she was his boss"please emeka stop it.am just a human being like you.and i would like it if you could be free with me"..he looked at her confused how was he supposed to do that.he just smiled as he ushered them him.richard was surprised that almost everyone was there.mr anthony put up a smiling face and walked up to himand drew into a warm embrace"my son welcome back,i hope you guyz had a great time"

mr anthony smiled as he scrolled through the pictures on his tab,he was happy for the new couples as thier honeymoon was going on fine.he picked up his phone and dialed the hotel room number.richard was siited reading a newspaper when the landline began to ring he wondered who could be calling.it must be the hotel management.he dropped the newspaper and picked the call.."hello please who is this?"
"hello this is mr anthony.is that richard on the line?"he quickly recognised his father-in-law voice."yes sir.how is your health sir".
"i feel great this days,going to chruch regurlarly is really helping me"..he sounded relieved the old man was okay"thats good to hear".
"i just wanted to say hello to you guyz and to know how you are fairing and i hope you guyz are having fun"
"of course sir.and we are doing good sir"
"thats actually good to hear.is your wife there.i want to have a word with her"
"not at all sir she is not here,she is in the lobby relaxing,perhaps you should call back if its urgent"

he ran after her and caught up with her even though he had no idea what he was going to say.he just scratched his head.they got to were the lounge bench.she bent down and carried her bag and other things as richard watched on.he watched as she walked towards the exit and quickly followed.outside he waved down a taxi allowed her to enter before he entered,none of them said a word.they got to the hotel.immediately the receiptionist smiled as the both walked to her to get the keys to their room..she noticed they were exhausted"how was the place i recommended for you sir"richard put on a smile.."it was great,we had fun and it was quite romantic"he looked at her but she didnt flinch,the statement was meant to pass a message to her but he hoped she got the message.he collected the keys and they headed to the elevator.once in the large room,she undressed,took a shower and went to sleep without saying a word.was this how this is going to continue something must be done before it was too late.after also taking a shower he layed on the bed and slept off

am sorry for the short update..its becos of the phone am using..its bttons makes it hard for me to type longer..but i will try harder

it has been fun for them since morning,and strangely none of them wanted to leave,the sun was setting now.and people had started leaving except for a few others.seeing the sunset with her was great and beautiful.by that time it had begin to get cold,you when night is crawling in the beach gets colder,he looked at her,stood up and dragged her up.
"what?"she wondered the reason he pulled her up.."i want us to talk a walk.before we go back to the hotel"she looked at him not sure why he said but.taking a walk was such not a bad idea after all."alright lets go..they began walking slowly and gisting about some things,subconsciously they held each others hand and walked ang gisted.then they reached a palm tree.she relaxed against the tree
with richard a few inches away,they were both tensed as thier eyes were locked together,he tilted his head forward,he drew more closer,his heart was accelerating and beating very fast.he summoned courage and covered her lips with his..the feeling was unexplainable.it was the climax of the moment,her lips were soft.he drew her closer,as he intensified the level of the kiss.and he could tell she enjoyed it...something kept telling her this is wrong...she broke away suddenly..he looked at her hungry for more.."am sorry richard,this can never be.remember this is strictly business,we have an agreement in place so dont lets go beyond that.this never happened..erase everything from your head.she moved away..but cat..she didnt allow him to talk before she cut in.."i think we need to head to the hotel its getting late.."she said this and walked away,he just stood their clueless as to what he was supposed to do....TBC

she came and sat beside him on the sand,also taking a look at the water as it came and went back.it was a wonderful sight.she smiled "its beautiful.he looked at her before he replied"of course it is,beautiful and romantic"he regretted saying that,they were not couples,he bit his lower lip.he felt in his spirit that she wanted to say something,he had noticed this since they day of their wedding,and it was obvious as she kept looking here and there.finally she talked.'am sorry richard'he looked at her surprised at what she could be sorry for'for what exactly'..he looked at her confused as he waited for an answer"for everything thing i have done to you,i hope you find a space in your heart to forgive me.i have humiliated and done all manners of things but i do hope you will forgive me".he said nothing as he picked up a stone and threw it in the sea,he repeated this action.he didnt know what he was going to say because he didnt expect she was going to ever apologize.he sighed before answering"its okay everything is now in the past,i have already forgotten about it a long time ago and i have forgiven you."he threw another stone."thank you so much.."she hugged him which was unexpected and he wondered what was wrong?after the hugging he went and lay on the short lounge chairs that was there.another one was beside him which was for her,after some minutes she came and stood in front of him,he wondered what she wanted,she pointed at a house been led by a man.he wondered what she was trying to say,he looked at the horse agian,it took him some seconds for him to get what she was trying to say."you want to ride on that horse"he looked at her as she nodded in the affirmative.thats going to be costly,and do you even know how to ride a horse.'yes i learnt how to ride a horse when i was in 300 level in the university.and it was fun'he looked at her again this time sitting up properly..why are you looking at me like that?..he looked back at the horse...'its just that am just surprised.and you never mentioned anything like this...'.she sounded surprised by the statement,they have nothing in common,so there was no reason telling him this things.but she kept quiet,but she was pleading with him to trust her and let them ride the horse,he finally gave him as he also saw it was an avenue for him to learn also.'yes'she exclaimed as she jumped up clenching her fist,she pulled him by the arm as they both ran towards the man who was leading the horse away.the man stopped when he noticed they were coming toward him.they greeted him and told him they purpose,the man looked at catherine and wondered if she could really ride a horse,he was not convinced,reading his face she quickly tried further to convince him,and told him that she had learned how to ride on horses and she was confident.after some convincing the man gave in,she thanked the man and mounted on the horses,he looked surprised as she was able to mount on the horse further strengthening her claim she an expert.she took the reins...'richard you wanna join me for a ride'he looked at the horses as he wasnt sure of how he was supposed to mount,the man noticed this and offered to help,he climbed up and sat comfortably.they told the man they would be back in thirty minutes time,and selected a rendezous.she saluted the man and rode on.it was his first time riding on a horse as she watched catherine holding the reins tightly and wondered how a lady could be so strong..they were close as he could smell the scent of her hair it was nice,she looked at him and smiled.'am going to go a little bit faster..'he looked with widened eyes'what!are you trying to get us killed'she laughed 'relax and be a man.dont worry i got it under control.'the next sound he heard was the sound of her voice'hyahhh..and immediately the horse moved at a faster pace..he was scared,but he had to act like a man.after running some miles she reduced the speed and he felt relieved...they took some pictures...to make it memorable

she came later dressing rather casual..which was perfect for the outing,she was carrying a bag,which he didnt knw what was inside,probably clothes or make up,you know ladies with thier things.they had earlier asked the receptionist and she had described the perfect place for them.when they entered the taxi,the told the man the adress of the place they were going,he nodded as he started the car engine,and started,he was relieved that he got what he said once and for all.he relaxed back,as he took a peep at catherine,she was looking outside and obviously admiring the city.she was beautiful there was no doubt about that.their history together has been crazy,but he hoped they will both be on good terms and let bygones be bygones.he turned when he saw she was turning back,she must have noticed someone was looking at her.finally they arrived at where they were going.after paying the taxi they went inside,they paid before entering and they were given their tickets.she stopped as if remembering something,she turned to him and said"richard please give me some minutes,i need to go into the ladies restroom."he looked at her surprisingly wondering why she would want to got to the restroom.before he could ask her what she going to do their she was already gone.he had no choice but to stand thier and just wait for her.
he looked at his wristwatch,it was over ten minutes now that she had gone,why is she not back yet.he was worried,he was about to go looking for her when she emerged from a corner at first he didnt recognize her but with a closer look she recognized her,he couldnt believe his eyes she was actually wearing a bikini and she was damn hot,he was already drooling as the shape of her two melons were obvious,it will be so sweet sucking those.what am i even thinking??.he wasnt even aware she was already at his front not until she tapped him"lets go.he just followed her without any complain,as she shaked her buttocks,he couldnt resist looking at it and imagining himself grabing those...what the helll!!!!!...

The sun was rising and the view was beautiful their were many other people from different race and contries at the beach,he could a couple cuddlingand kissing and he felt jeaulous,how he wished he could do that also,he brought out his phone and took a picture of the view,he smiled after he was satisfied with the picture.he put up the iphonex in his hand and was about to take another picture of himself when she immediately came out of nowhere and stood beside him posing for a picture,he looked at her and wondered what was wrong."come on why are looking like that,just take the picture already"he looked at her and took the picture.after taking some more he sat on the sand enjoying the view.....

she woke up and turned on the bed,the sun rays hit her eyes,she winched as she struggled to get up,she drew the curtains,she must have slept for so long considering the fact that she was tried,she put her legs into her slippers and stood,she wondered were he was after looking at everywhere and saw no sign of him,she pushed the door open pepped,and looked at the hall way no sign of him,could he had gone downstairs,she locked the door and entered into the elevator.she saw the receptionist and walked up to her."good morning,have u perhaps have you seen my husband this morning"the receptionist looked her,this must be the wife of the man that had a reservation yesterday.i have seen him dis morning he should be outside in the compound"..he sigh and went towards the door hoping to see him where the receptionist said.she stepped out and looked right and left,she saw him in one corner sitting down and drinking some wine.she walked up to him,on citing him he dropped the glass he was holding on the table."when did you wake up?.she quickly noticed he had shaved,only Gods knows how long she had slept.she took a chair and sat opposite to him before answering his question."i woke up some minutes ago and you were nowhere to be found,i thought you had been kidnapped.he smiled cheekingly and grabbed the glass gentle and sipped some.would you like some?he pointed to the wine he was wine,she wasnt sure whether she should drink some or not as she didnt know how her intestine was going to react to it."sure.she looked as he took another glass and poured some into the glass and gave it to her.she sipped some.richard looked at her,she was still beautiful even without makeup,this was the first time he was seeing her real face without make up,it was nice.if only they were really marr....what am i even thinking??get a hold of yourself,this is just a contract and nothing more.its going to be a long day.but it will be boring if there is no activities lined up for that day,just then an idea came into his mind."catherine how about we go out today and catch some fun.we cant just sit here all day doing nothing."the sound of going out and have fun was tempting,but what she feared most will happen?and she wont be able to resist it,she has been fighting tooth and nail,so that he wont develop feelings for him,and so far it was working ,but going out was...catherine.are you alright?she came back from her reverie.she smiled awarkedly.."am sorry,you talked about going out,but i want to ask where exactly do you want to go and moreso we are strangers here.if we get lost,that will be disastrous..."dont be scared,we could ask from the receptionist,am sure she will have a lot of ideas on her head"that was actually true,all she needs to do is keep her distance and make sure nothing happens."alright lets go"he was very happy she agreed to go because going alone would seem funless.so where do u want us to go?..he rolled his eyes to think of where will be perfect..he got it instantly.i think we should go to the beach.and the sea will serve as a nice view...thats a good idea anyways..she stood up i think i need to take my shower.he looked at her ravishing figure and swallowed hard,he couldnt keep his eyes off her as she went inside,whats wrong with me??he asked himself..remember that sandra loves you and dont do anything to break her heart..it was really tough keeping that promise,catherine makes it very hard,he relaxed back on the chair and continued drinking his wine.....a fun filled day awaits,but only God knows what lies in stock for both of them..***TBC..

the plane landed at charles de guelle inernational aurport which was one thier most used airlines, it has been said that the air in paris was really nice,it was a long journey indeed,it wasnt an easy thing sitting in the plane for close to seven hours it was no joke,they both came down as they went to check out thier luggages,they waved down a taxi,luckily for them the man could speak english so communication was not a problem,he showed a small sheet of paper to the man,inside the paper was the adress of the hotel they were to lodge for that night,which mr anthony had already made a reservation for them,mr anthoony had known there were going to need some france currency which was franc as he gladly gave them some.after agreeing on the fee the luggages was put inside the trunk of the car as he drove off,in aout two hours they got to the hotel it was a very tall building.the name of the hotel was bodly written le paris continental suites.the taxi drove away after unloading there luggages from the trunk of the car,he alone carried the whole luggage without getting any help from catherine,he could see how tired she was which was understandable considering the fact that they had been on the plane for so long.they came to the lobby,catherine sat on a chair while he appraoched the receptionist,she was a blonde and very beautiful.she smiled at him 'please sir what can i do for you?'.her perfume hit him strongly'i believe a reservation was made here'the lady studied him carefully before answering'when was that sir'what kind of question is that"he quickly replied herhow am i supposed to know that?.he brought out a sheet and gave it to her,she looked at it carefully before typing what was on the paper,she looked up after she was done"am sorry sir,i have confirmed it,sir one mr anthony from nigeria made reservations including feeding for three days for mr and mrs williams.it also shows you came for your honeymoon".he heaved a sigh of relief"of course we just got married two days ago and thats my wife sitting over there"he pointed at catherine was already dozing off"she is very tired,its been a long journey"he turned back to the lady who was still smiling"congratulations.he thanked her as she gave her a key"your room is 303 the third floor.he gave her a tip and walked up to catherine'she stood up as they both entered the elevator.once on the third floor it was easy locating the third floor.he opened the door as they went inside.he put the luggages inside the wardrobe while catherine went to sleep after removing her shoes,wristwatch and jewelries.he undressed and went to the bathroom for a cold shower****TBC

he couldnt believe what he was seeing,right in front of him was the mansion his father-in-law was talking about,he opened his mouth in awe at the sight,he was expected to live here,in this big house,emeka had drove them to the house like he said there was a car which was parked and covered with a large clothe,he wondered which kind of car it was he remover it and it revealed a brad new venza,this was his dream car,the car he had always admired and wanted to buy.the compound was big enough to build another house entirely and there was a modern hut,which was for relaxing,this was perfect.they all went in together,the sitting was very spacious as it had a small bar with different kinds of wine stocked in it,there was a 64inches plasma t.v hung on the wall and a stereo.with the little he had just seen he was really going to enjoy his stay here.he located the bedroom as he put his bag insde the giant wardrobe.when he came back catherine just sat on the settee playing with her phone.emeka stood up indicating he was ready to go.he escorted him to the gate and locked the door.soon they would have to get a security man and a gateman,a maid who would take care of the house and other things.he went back inside and still met her sitiing there.he walked past her but her voice stopped him,he lloked back and saw her staring at him
"do you have something to say?"she looked at him careful beforely talking.."please we need to talk,i wont take much of your time"..he wondered what she wanted to say,so he sat down and waited patiently for her,she watched as she dropped her phone beside her and faced her"what do you want us to do with the tickets my dad gave to us?"he looked left and right and wondered what kind of questions was that"what kind of questions is that,of course we should go,your dad paid a lot of money for tht ticket thats the least we can do,or dont you want to go?its a perfect place for relaxation"she quickly..of course i want to its just that i thought you wont want to go"..of course i want to go."he heaved a sigh and stood up.is that what you wanted to talk about.."yes..am going to have a shower..he walked back into the bedroom humming a song****TBc

so many dignitaries were present at the ceremony the minister of finance,minister of works and infrastructure to name a few,he wondered how mr anthony omar managed to get this kind of connections he was really a big gun in the society there was no doubt about that.during the ceremony he sighted sandra seated amomgst her friends he smiled.the m.c announced that it was time for gifts,anyone who was to give the newly wedded couple gifts should come forward.he was astonished by the gr8 turn out of people,he couldnt believe his eyes,so many kinds of gift which was wrappe beautiful and brought forward.the minister of finance came forward and held the mike."on behalf of my family and friends i donate this car to the new couples,i wish them fruitful marriage and i pray they be will never part and thier union which God has blessed shall remain till death do them part"he took the car keys and handed it over to richard,as the camera men did there job..he sat down and wondered in awe as people continued donating cars and other stuffs.when the time for gift was gone it was time for well wishers to dance with the couples.the dance began as people stood and sprayed them money both in naira and foreign currency.like mrs anthony said the wedding was one of a kind.it was perfect....

the party came to an end,he was talking with his best man and his other friends when catherine walked up to him.."honey,my dad wants to see both of us,he said there is something he wants to tell us".he noded and he followed herafter telling his friends that he was coming back.they got to his car,the door was opened as his wife sat beside him eating fried rice with chicken.
