Insurgency had been a gradual seed germinating in the North but the government at that time did not take any action to curtail it until it became a large iroko tree that a bulldozer cannot easily pull down. I remember when I was serving in the North in 2010/2011, the election that happened in 2011 witnessed a lot of killing in Bauchi, Yobe, Borno and some other states, yet the government at that time did virtually nothing to fight back and stop them, and now it has become the fault of the present government not to have performed magic?

At least we will have a president that will take the killings seriously and do something about it not one that will pretend that nothing is happening whenever his kinsmen attacking others. Does it not surprise you the speed at which Buhari acts whenever things happen in the south or if one of the northern minorities attack the Fulani but whenever it is the Fulani attacking he does nothing? Even this present attack we are talking about, up till now there has not been a single comment from either the federal government or The Kaduna state government. They just pretend nothing happened and are moving on yet these are the corpses of Nigerian citizens including innocent kids brutally massacred in their own country and their President doesn't even say anything about it talk more of doing anything. How did el rufai identify the murderous herdsmen and instead of bringing them to justice, he decided to pay them money? Confront Buhari about it, he will say they are not from Nigeria or blame the conflict in Libya. Is that how a true leader responds to the massacre of people he ought to be protecting? Stop deceiving yourself, any of the other candidates will have been an upgrade to Buhari. Yes, they won't make the killings disappear overnight but at least they will start taking serious steps to bring it to a stop in the near future

Southern Kaduna did not vote for Buhari, in fact el rufai knew they would vote against Buhari so on election day, they sent soldiers to prevent many of them from voting. That's how Buhari won Kaduna state
