Romance › If Your Guy Does These 5 Things, DON'T Marry Him by mascot87(op): 9:53pm On Dec 25, 2014 |
1. He gets violent, even if he hit you.You may think this is a no-brainer but honestly it isn’t. Most women I know who’ve been in abusive relationships have immense strength, only to shut down in the presence of her partner’s anger and violence. As a strong woman myself, I froze when a guy I’d been dating went into a rage one night, throwing things, damaging property and calling me names. I knew it was a deal breaker because even though he didn’t put his hands on me, he scared me. No healthy relationship can be built off a foundation of fear because you never know when his actions may escalate. 2. He cheats. Many people will say this point is debatable because lots of couples who have fidelity issues repair their relationship and end up in a better than where they were pre-cheating. But it’s not the act of cheating that’s the deal breaker here; it’s the disrespect, broken trust and significant risk to your health. (Hello, STDS!) With all the risks that hang in the balance for just a tiny bit of pleasure, it’s entirely inconsiderate and selfish when a man cheats on you. Do you want someone who puts his wants before your needs, like security and trust? I don’t which is why I’ve said BYE to cheating men. 3. He doesn’t claim or proclaim you. Many women will spend time in limbo-like relationships with guys who won’t give them the girlfriend title. Here’s the truth: If you’ve been dating a man for longer than six to nine months and he’s hasn’t made you an official part of his life, it’s time to MOVE ON. Stop making excuses for why things aren’t progressing to the next level; you’ll only waste time and your time is worth more than that. These days, I don’t settle for less because I don’t want a man who makes you a bargain-bin find. If he knows your worth, he’ll claim and proclaim you and there will be few conversations about how ‘he isn’t ready.’ 4. He suffers from addiction. There are plenty of honor badges to be earned by standing by your man when he’s fallen on hard times. But CAUTIONbif you stick with a man fighting demons, namely addiction. Addiction can range from less-severe, likebcigarettes, to major issues such as drug, alcohol and sex. Someone who suffers from an addiction will do anything —and I mean anything — to get their fix, even at the expense of those they love. So unless you’d like to be second to whatever vices he has, it may be time to ‘leave smoke.’ 5. He gaslights you. We’ve spoken about gas-lighting, which is the manipulative act of someone attempting to change your memory or perception of events in their favor, making you feel crazy or like you’ve forgotten something. But when is gas-lighting a deal breaker, you ask? The answer is when it happens! A man who resorts to manipulative tactics to have his way or ‘win’ an argument will continue to play mind games and be dishonest with you. When I experienced gas-lighting in my relationships, I felt crazy and my self-esteem plummeted until I understood the game that was being played. Take advantage of the situation and leave immediately — it’s the best thing you can do for yourself. https://www.yahoo.com/style/if-your-guy-does-these-5-things-dont-marry-him-105446894973.html |

[s] wecan: 1. On the 10th anniversary of Abacha's demise, Buhari said that Abacha stole nothing from Nigeria! Despite millions of Dollars recovered from banks around the world and the Abacha family signing a formal agreement to returnover $1 billion dollars, Buhari still said that, Abacha’s stealing remains an unproved allegation!!!! Why? Because Abacha set Buhari up like an emperor and let him use oil money from theNiger Delta to develop the North without supervision or questions.
2. He supervised the smuggling of 53 suitcases filled with cash througth the MMA against the protest of General Tunde Idiagbon and ironically,Abubakar Atiku, the then Director General of Customs, who later became the Vice President anda compromised politician himself. This smuggling of the suit cases were supervised by buharis ADC, Col.Mustapha Jokolo
3. He jailed Ndukar Irabor and Tunde Thompson of "The Guardian" on stories that were factually true. He again told Nigerian journalists then that, it did not matter whether the story reported was true or not, if his regime did not like it, the writer would go to jail.
4. He convinced all the northern political leaders against allowing the National Identity card program because according to him, this would unravel the myth of Northern population majority.
5. He has never been able to account to Nigerianswhat he did with the 20 billion Naira of the Petroleum Trust Fund of which he was the chairman under Sani Abacha. Also, He has not been able to point to any project he prosecuted outside Northern Nigeria with the trust fund.
6. Buhari, as part of his tribalistic practices, placed President Shagari under house arrest inside a palatia mansion in Ikoyi, while he locked up Shagari's Vice, Alex Ekwueme in Kirikiri Prison.Shagari is Hausa/Fulani like him while Alex Ekwueme is an Igboman.
7. Buhari discriminated against persons from other ethnic groups/faiths; and as PTF chairman, he employed an overwhelming numberof Fulani/Hausa/Moslem people at the detriment of other groups and concentrated PTF projects in theNorth. If in doubt, read El Rufai’s book.
8. Buhari snubbed the same Nigerians he now wants their votes by refusing to appear before Justice Oputa "Truth and Reconciliation Panel." Despite the fact that Buhari knew how important reconciliation is to the stability of democracy, buhari has never apologised at anytime.
9. Buhari after locking up Sam Mbakwe, who was governor of Imo State, from October 1, 1979 to Dec 31, 1983 in jail, he went for one of Mbakwe’s wives. He established himself for what he was/is letting Mbakwe receive in jail, news of the death of another of Mbakwe's two wives.
10. He is an Islamic fundamentalist, the Bin Laden of Nigeria, who told his northern followers never tovote for anyone who was not a muslim and he is a coup plotter.
11. He is an oligarch who does not believe in equality before the law. The way he jailed LateefJakande, Jim Nwobodo, Ambrose Ali, Pa AdekunleAjasin, Chief Ayo Ojewumi on cases that had no foundation and allowed Awwal Ibrahim, the then Niger State governor, who was arrested in Heathrow Airport in London with 14 million (Pounds sterling) and several millions of Naira and dollars to be under house arrest is my evidence. (Ayo Ojewumi became blind as a result of his imprisonment over false charges and died shortlyafter)
Facts and not fiction. Nigerians, behold the real buhari.
Stay tuned for part (2). [/s] |

Politics › Re: 'Chibok Girls Will Never Return Intact"- Obasanjo by mascot87(m): 7:14pm On Dec 15, 2014 |
Cyberbaze: Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has again criticized President Goodluck Jonathan saying that because of his inaction, the Chibok Girls will never be rescued. Obasanjo also spoke about his book saying that everything he has written about Jonathan, he has also said to him face-to-face. The former President stated this and more during an interview with Rosie Collyer of Radio France Internationale (RFI)
Excerpts below:
RC: Why have you chosen to publish your autobiography now, when Nigeria is politically charged ahead of February's general election?
OO: You used the word politically charged. There is no time Nigeria is not politically charged. One thing one can say about Nigeria is, since independence we have had some high ebbs or low ebbs but Nigeria has been very, very politically active. So the question of which is the opportune time or auspicious time for a book to be published, it is entirely up to the publisher and of course the reading public.
I completed writing the book, which took me about 18 months, about four months ago and I gave it to the publisher. And the publisher decided that after reading the book that he would like to publish it before the elections.
RC: Who is Buruji Kashamu and why do you mention him in your autobiography?
OO: He is someone who has been indicted in America […] And for a political party and for the president to be hobnobbing with him I believe leaves much to be desired, and I said that [in my autobiography]. RC: You are apparently critical of President Goodluck Jonathan in your autobiography. Why?
OO: Whatever I have said in my book, I have said it to President Jonathan one-on-one. I have said it in public statements that I have made over the past two or three years. So there is nothing in my book that is new that I have said about President Jonathan. RC: One area where you have criticised President Jonathan is his handling of the kidnapped Chibok schoolgirls. What advice did you give the president?
OO: It is unfortunate. What I have said to Jonathan before and what I have said also in my letter - and I have said it several times - is that, once active and concrete action was not taken within 48 hours, a period of 72 hours was already too late. We will never be able to get those girls again. And the story of those girls will go on for the next 30 years. Some of them will come out when they are adults or they will be sent back when they are pregnant by those who have captured them. If anyone is thinking of being able to get those girls released intact, he must be day dreaming. RC: Your autobiography is called My Watch in reference to your presidencies. What were you most proud of during your time as president?
OO: Well what was I proud of, is when I came in [as president] many people thought that I would be the last president of Nigeria, because after me Nigeria will be no more. I was proud that I was not the last president of Nigeria because after me there have been two presidents and there will always be presidents of Nigeria and Nigeria will continue to exist. And then, of course, we fought corruption. RC: Can you give some examples of corrupt people who faced justice?
OO: Oh yes, we took an inspector general of police to court. We took the president of the Senate to court. We took my minister for secondary schools and my minister of internal affairs to court. We took a few permanent secretaries to court. And we took a few governors to court. And then of course we recovered well over 1.25 billion dollars from the Abacha family. RC: Could you have done more to fight corruption? OO: No, I did all that could be done. Fighting corruption is not a one-day affair or a one-night affair, it must be continuous.
