jhoci: I also had/have same issue. WES made a note on my ECA about the dob from my institution (B Sc). The dob is completely different from my actual dob, day , month, year. I did a search on Nairaland and saw a couple of similar cases and the people affected ahve gotten PPR. Anyway, after consulting within and outside this thread, I decided to go ahead with my application and provide supporting documents/LOE to prove my correct dob.
Also, I sent a message to WES attaching the supporting documents and requesting an update on my report. This is three weeks now and they are still reviewing my report. I contacted them on Twitter last week to show my displeasure at the delay. And I got a response saying they were looking at updating my report and I should exercise patience. Makes a lot of sense. Please how did you send the message? Was it an application letter? I won't mind if you give me clear details on how to go about it please. Also did you involve your school? Thanks in anticipation |

Tojued: If I were in such a situation I'd do an loe, back up with my birth certificate. In my opinion the error is less implicating since your real age makes you older than the fake. Football age tins is usually the other way round.
Otherwise contact your school to make correction and forward new info to wes, so they correct your eca report. Might not be a quick process, this option. Thanks a lot. |

smslive2: Which date did you use to register for your Bsc? Why did you even evaluate BSc when it has been said times without number that if you have MSc, only the highest degree should be evaluated. You might need to contact both your school and WES to correct this if indeed its an error from the school and not a case of Rashidi Yekini You don't need to be sarcastic in your response, I'm not a child. I did my ECA two years ago and almost dumped my Canadian journey after series of ielts frustration, thank God its over now. Then, I wasn't fully aware of what should or shouldn't be. And for my BSc I registered with my actual birth date, where they got the July from I don't know. Thank you for your suggestion anyways. |

Hello house, Please i noticed that my ECA has two different date of birth for my masters and BSc which obviously is a mistake from the school. Masters 1st June (actual birth date) BSc 10th July Both are same year.
Please what do I do? Will it pose a problem? Thank you. |

COPR: If the institution that issued the MBA cert is not a Nigerian institution, use WES and you wont need to evaluate your WAEC/NECO but if otherwise use ICES.
IQAS is shit right now. It takes them weeks to open your transcript after receiving it, plus another 12 weeks or more.
If you use ICES, you can ask the institution to send your transcript via their official email, to save cost and time. The only drawback here is that ICES report is ONLY hardcopy and must be sent by post which costs about CAD$75. Thanks a lot. Will go with ICES. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by MaSisi: 3:16pm On Aug 17, 2018 |
COPR: There is no implication. Let him evaluate only his highest degree (MBA). Evaluating BSc wont add any point to his CRS score.
The rule is evaluate your highest degree if you've BSc & MSc/MBA/PhD; but for OND & HND, evaluate both to get 2 or more certs with WES.
Why does he wants to use IQAS? Why not ICES? No reason oo. I was the one that advised him to use IQAS after I read what you wrote. You think ICES is better? Please I need your candid opinion. Thank you. |

showerses: your CIPMN did you write to P2 because i have written only Intermediate 2, can i evaluate only Intermediate 2 and if i can do you know how many marks i can earn and its equivalent in canada study program It was a two year prog I think. I completed it, got my certificates. Diploma and associate member. I don't think you can verify intermediate two alone cos you may not have been issued with any certificate. |

I have 5 years customer service experience with the bank, but I'm currently in a federal civil service doing a job I'll best describe as administrative officer. Been doing it for 5years now. I have a masters in HRM. And a BSc in Sociology. What will be the best NOC for me pls? |

Biakwa: Good day house,
Please I want to ask if my NIM(Nigeria Institute of Management) certificate can give me more point on EE, does WES verify NIM certificate, and how do I go about it.
Expecting your response.... WES verified my CIPMN and equated it to a 3 year degree prog in Canada. But I don't know about NIM. Was it a full course or just a certificate program? |

Newmum0615: I am not sure requesting for a remark is a good idea. Listening and Reading and objective components of the test and you are marked based on the correct answers you ticked for each question. But if you have spare cash, you can give it a shot but it'd be best you practice more and prepare to write another test so that you don't lose out on time. I understand you but I'm quite surprised at the outcome of the result. This is not my first test but it's about the most straightforward I've written. I was even more concerned about the speaking part cos I was nervous but surprisingly I did well. I'm just sad. |
