The boy has done his part of the CONTRACT, his father should keep his promise quickly |
Because he was a domestic help for 10 years gave him the audacity to reward himself by marrying a teenage minor without her parents' consent. I still see Yunusa as culpable. He should face the full wrath of the law to serve as a deterrent to others found in such habit. Yunusa ought to be in a position of a guardian to that exuberant girl. Instead, he encouraged and brainwashed her the more. Too bad. For Yunusa's father, he's doing the first thing last. He should have called the villagers when his son brought an "uncultured" stranger into his house. Doing that would have saved him this national embarrassment. |
OP said, "my mind is a mess, that I can't escape". |

If I didn't watch the parents on TV "yesternight" I would say it was just fiction. In this century? The problem we have in this country is that we don't take an individual's problem as a matter of concern. Northern elders should come up to condemn this development as quick as possible and ensure justice is done. If they had condemn terrorism and supported national course earlier, BH wouldn't have eaten so deep into our system. If we don't know where Chibok girls are, we know where Ese is. She should be repatriated back to her home. For goodness sake, that girl is too young for marriage issues. She needs to go back to school. #FreeEse |
Those 4,000 men really do wonder for this woman life o. See how dey do am, come abandon her. All dis tin men ar doing... |

She's too naive. Hasn't she read the Civil Service Rule? You can't criticise the govt that employs you. If you have to do that, you need to follow the proper channel and not turn yourself to a partisan civil servant. She's a state counsel for godness sake: I expect her to be more informed. Not just making flimsy comments all around online social media. My advice for her is to take legal action and hand the case over to human rights activists because her statement wasn't so harsh. Perhaps, she might have some luck. However, she should not forget civil service bureaucracy. |
That's maturity. Being divorced shouldn't make both parties sworn enemies. |

He should try anoda lifestyle 'cos... |
anonimi:I very much agree with you. Lazy Dump-Ass will not want to work. I've got this message for them. God will definitely bless your effort and you've got to try like this Olajumoke girl. Her little effort and prayer has just been answered. As for my genius guy from UniLag, excellence doesn't go unnoticed. Hid reward is coming soon. Mark 4:26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 4:27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. What explained what happened when the man slept is written in; 1 Corinthians 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. Let's not forget that I'm not preaching here but just ruminating over what is happening in the lives of these two subjects of discussion. |
What a man will be, he will be. It doesn't matter how hard he tries, how fast he runs, or how smart he could be. Que sera sera. Proverb 16: 33 says; The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD. |

How many Nigerians has he helped? |
Africanman123:Assuming every graduate acquired foreign certificate, would they be gainfully employed? NO! It's clear that job-creation ability hinges on economic situation and govt policies- which are not favourable. Everybody who desires to work ought to get a job, secondary school leavers inclusive. What do we have instead? Unemployment and underemployment. Imagine a mechanical engineer graduate working in the bank. What would happen to our industrial sector if all engineers we're underemployed in banks? It's not excusable that many graduates are unemployable 'cause I've seen many who cannot write acceptance of appointment letter. However analysing critically , there are few job openings. |
