Please can I apply for PTA with my student visa and a one-way ticket because my account officer said I need a return ticket before I can apply for PTA as a student. How true is this and what is the requirement.
Lastly, can anyone help with the process for Form-A for upkeep/maintenance because I want to apply for PTA and Upkeep/maintenance if possible.

Passport collected: 6th Jan for MA and dependants.

Please I want to confirm if the dependant can arrive (5)days to expiration of the Vignette because the dependant works offshore and won't be available to travel until 29th March while the my Vignette expires 6th April.
Hope it will not affect the BRP because I saw something about collection of BRP stating:
"You must collect your BRP before your vignette expires or within 10 days of arriving in the UK, whichever is the later"

Not a problem and not something to worry about. Just make sure you include a consent letter. You will be fine.

And make sure I include a consent letter?
But I do not have the Third Party Consent form as I have read in some past post?

My wife is the main Applicant and I am applying with her under Partner Dependant visa. She has filled me(husband) and kids under "people financially dependent on her" because she has all the fund required in her account alone.
My confusion now is that I am filling my Partner Dependant visa application and I am also asked the same question; "people financially dependent on you" Should I fill only my kids or say NO because all the money is in my wife's account but the kids are also applying with us together

(1) and (2) Since the Pof is in her account as the MA, then you guys depended on her and yes including you. .(3) No one can guarantee that. Go with the closest TLs to you

Please I need your urgent assistance with the below (3) questions.
My wife is the Main applicant and we are all applying together for the visa from Nigeria and all the POF for her, me(Husband) and (3) kids are in her account(wife account) for the required day. My questions are;
(1) When filling the main applicant (Student visa), I am confused about this question "people financially dependent on you", Do she need to include (me)spouse as people financially dependent on her ? Or its just children that will be filled here? (Remember we are all applying together).

(2) Under the PBS (Partner Dependent visa) application, will I need to indicate her as "People financially dependent on me?" (Despite all the POF for the entire family is in her account). Or should I indicate only the kids?

(3) Lastly, Can anyone who has booked Biometric capturing of recent kindly advise on the closest available date found online because I am trying to choose between TLS Ikeja and TLS VI based on the closest date available.

Good morning

I thank everyone who responded to my qustions last time

I was able to book flex appointments for one MA and five dependants.

I have issues after successfully payment for each of the dependant and MA.

1st, non of them received payments confirmation mail from TLS but four and MA got reminder mails from TLS

I logged in to checked each dependant appointment, I discovered that the appointment for one read 'appointment not set' while for others their appointment date is show.

I did another flex appointment for the one that doesn't show. I went back to check if the appointment is set, it is now set. After the new payment, he got reminder mail but no payment confirmation mail.

The appointment is tomorrow.

Please what is the way out?

Please can you advise on the closest available date for Biometric booking capturing, I am expecting my CAS today and will do my Visa application today. I am just worried that I will get a close date within the first week of December.

Good day House, Please can you confirm how many days it takes Northumbria university to issue CAS after confirming your deposit payment and having an unconditional offer. Mine is already (1) week waiting.

Thank God for my life. I got my student visa without an agent but with God's favour. Thank you Justwaise and futuredon for your advice. Class starts September 2nd but Visa starts reading from August 3nd. I going to Liverpool. Thank you all for everything. I give God the glory. Visa took 16days for processing and I also used 2 statements of accounts.

fg17: Thank you for the response. but i have tried to print through the book appointment tab and it still requires the reference number. Meanwhile, am yet to receive the receive any confirmation email. Did they send you confirmation email in your instance?

I didn't receive any email confirmation. I would advice you rebook an appointment. Don't wait for confirmatioon of the former one. Check online every minute and I believe u should be able to get an available date soon because they won't attend to you without the appointment booking print out at the Visa application centre. Hope these helps.

I submitted mine on 8th July but am yet to get any message. I know God will see us through. At times I get worried but I try and occupy myself with other tins. Worrying will not help us. Only God will help us

Hey bro. Go through the previous thread. So many people have pasted questions they asked them including me. But basically they want to know the course, the school u will be attending, reasons for choosing the school, duration of ur course but go through the last 10 pages. I believe it would help you prepare for the interview. Then the interview shouldn't be more than 10- 15minutes maximum. U would be interiewed through webcam.

As soon as ur 28days is complete. Book an appointment, go and submit your application and have it in mind that the interview is also done that same day. Anyway that was how mine was done. Submit, pay at the centre, do ur bio, then attend the interview immediately. All on that same day.

fg17: Justwise and samueltin I have made a serious mistake.

After booking appointment, I couldn't print immediately and I forgot to copy the Reference Number. Will i get an email confirming my appointment(bearing the reference number). please help.

Go back to www.ukvac-ng.com, click on book appointment. Then check below. You would see print Booking confirmation. But incase they don't send you and email confirmation. Just re-book because these is rush hour period for students.

7. What are your plans on completion of ur course?
8. Why did you choose that particular school?
9. Why did you choose to come to the UK for these course?
10. Do you understand all the question I asked u?


I didn't arrange them they way I was asked but these should help.

@Justwise am sorry I indicated I am using an Agent. Am really sorry. It was just that the guy I call an Agent was the one that helped me arrange my ticket when I coulnt get a ticket to singapore some years ago. I am not paying him for my UK student visa.
