Obiano should just finish his tenure and go. Such a petty man. |
They should not waste their time. Trump will finish his 2nd term. |
People got better things to do than sit down and listen to lies. I would do same. |
The tyrant should know that lying is corruption. |
Both the surgeon and the deranged individual need serious terms in jail. |
He was just trying to 'relief our comic'. We need every comic relief we can get in this Next Level. |
Giving up their glorious Igbo heritage is NOT an option. They should agitate, sensitize, lobby. Hopefully, someday they'd be merged with their Ika brothers in Delta state. |
Tyrannical tyrant. ![]() Three and half yrs of Next Level still loading. |
Didn't Deji Adeyanju hint that something like this is in the pipeline? Let's hope this is a cruel joke. |

Nigerians of Igbo extraction yesterday took the case of marginalisation and exclusion allegedly orchestrated against them by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to the United Nations (UN). The group urged world powers to mount pressure on President Buhari to re-write the wrongs meted against the Igbo ethnic nationality, alleging that there was a grand plot to deny the South East the nation’s presidency in 2023. A Coalition of Southeast Civil Society Activists and Human Rights Defenders, stated this at a media briefing in Enugu, adding that they were moved to alert the world body on Ndigbo situation since the Buhari administration commenced, insisting that the unfair treatment had continued to increase daily. A letter of protest alleging marginalisation of Ndigbo was addressed to the Coordinator, Indigenous Peoples, and Minority Section, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva. It was titled, “Protest Against Provocative Exclusion and Orchestrated Reduction of Ndigbo to Second Class Citizens in Nigeria: A Call to World Powers to Mount Constructive Pressure on President Buhari to Re-write the Wrongs Meted Out Against the Igbo Ethnic Nationality,” and dated September 9, 2019. Also copied were embassies of the United States of America, Canada, France, Germany, British High Commission and Delegation of European Union to Nigeria and ECOWAS in Abuja. National Convener of the group, Ibuchukwu Ezike, and Secretary-General of Igbo Civil Society Coalition, Dr. Jasper Uche, among others listed the alleged infractions in lopsided appointment of security chiefs; infrastructure deficit including roads, railway, and seaports. They also listed unfavourable allocations from the Federal Government; closure of Akanu Ibiam International Airport without contract and concentration of interventions of development partners in the North. Others are exclusion from the commanding heights of the nation’s economy; delay in the passage of southeast Development Commission Bill; politicisation of terrorist designation and flying the kite of the 2023 presidency. They asked the UN for active engagement and diplomatic pressures on President Buhari to address the principle of federal character in the distribution of public goods and appointive positions, especially security chiefs. Ezike stated that addressing the lopsided appointments of security chiefs was paramount due to increasing insecurity in the South East region, stressing: “A decision may be taken one day to eliminate all Igbo without their knowledge due to lack of representation.” They sought sustained pressure on the President to send an executive bill to the National Assembly for the creation of one additional state in the South East, to be at par with other zones as well as mobilisation of resources to ensure speedy completion of the Enugu Airport rehabilitation and expansion before the Christmas season, among other demands. https://guardian.ng/news/igbo-take-alleged-marginalisation-by-federal-government-to-united-nations/

Chidexter:I believe they mean fulani terrorists, a.k.a. herdsmen. |
Dude should just lay low and enjoy his bribe money instead of exposing himself like this. |
Still making reference to the dreaded 'Next Level'. |
To think those confused senators collect 'Hardship Allowance' after looting millions. ![]() |
You should have started this your "pursuit of national stability" by dismantling Miyetti alla and fulani herdsmen/terrorists. Their activities are obviously not contributing to the stability of the country. |
Ifunanya nke a dikwa strong. |
Peeved by the statement of the national president of Miyetti Allah Kautel Hore, Abdullahi Bodejo, wherein he claimed that the bushes in the South East do not belong to Ohanaeze or to the five governors of the region, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, Sunday cautioned him, noting that the bushes are part of South East. The group equally warned Miyetti Allah not to taste its wrath, saying that any erring pastoralists caught up moving with cows from Community to Community from Monday 9/9/19, will taste the full Wrath of Igbo. The group also frowned at Bodejo’s comments on Ruga, describing it as misguided statements. Recall that Abdullahi Bodejo had in an interview with The Sun opined that “What South East Governors are doing show they are not good Nigerians. Good Nigerians are supposed to accept every Nigerian to do his business in any part of the country by whatever means of bringing the business there. We Fulani are not happy over the way some governors and the Ohanaeze in that region are reacting over the Fulani issues. “Once you are a governor, you begin to see everyone no matter the particular area he comes from as one. That area is everybody’s area whether Fulani, Tiv, Ijaw, Yoruba etc, it is part of Nigeria; Nigeria is one. “Let the governors and Ohanaeze stop pushing that position because it is not in the constitution of Nigeria, and it is annoying. They are not trying to unite people; they are trying to divide Nigeria by their acts. We have different associations in that area, and some are shouting to be seen as working for their people; maybe they are working for their people. “Like the Fulani organisation, Miyetti Allah Kautal-Hore, we are always seeing how we can unite this country; we are not doing things to just protect only the Fulani interest, but we are doing things to protect the interest of this nation because Nigeria is one; Nigeria is our own and it is for everybody. “The bush doesn’t belong to them. If you are a governor or whatever they can call you, the bush has been there. If they claim that they are farming, they are not farming on every part of the bush. “For the Fulani, their business is inside the bush. The governor and the organisation don’t have any reason for that; if they did, let them open up or come up with the reason. They can’t say if they want to bring cows they must bring them in with vehicles. “Before the introduction of vehicles, the Fulani were moving with their cows and supplying their cows to any part of the country. From Taraba State, Fulani have been trekking with their cows to sell in Anambra, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Uyo, etc. This is part of the culture of the Fulani.” Reacting, Mazi okechukwu Isiguzoro, President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide said ‘no going back on ban against Fulani’s who bring cattle on foot and no land would be carved out for the Fulanis’. Read the full statement below: “We wish to categorically state, that Fulani tribe is one of the few minorities ethnic groups in Nigeria, irrespective of their dominance over some ethnic groups in the North. Igbo are found in all the clans across 774 LGAs of Nigeria, and a future credible census will put to an end to the bogus claims of Abdullahi Bodejo. With Igbo all over Nigeria, we have never demanded lands from host Governors outside South East or use threats and hate speeches to acquire lands for our Businesses. “Rearing of cattle remains a private business and should adhere to the strict rules of South East Governors on the ban of pastoralists movement of cattle by foot. “We wish to remind Miyetti Allah that the bushes, forests and farmlands belong to Igbo speaking people of South East and erring pastoralists caught up moving with cows from Community to Community from Monday 9/9/19, will taste the full Wrath of Igbo. “Miyetti Allah should be held responsible for daring peace loving people of South East. South East Governors and Ohanaeze will never bring policies that will divide Nigeria. “The recent 1700 forests guards in Enugu are properly trained, and soon the nefarious activities of the murderous bandits and herdsmen masquerading as pastoralists will be put on check. “With the recent ban on herdsmen by South East Governors, we have finalized arrangements for the five South East State houses of Assemblies to enact laws on ban on open grazing so that full weight of the law will descend on any erring pastoralists caught up trespassing from one Community to Community. “Miyetti Allah Kautel Hole leadership should tender unreserved apology to the South East Governors or should be arrested for hate speech and provocative remarks capable of truncating peaceful environment in the South East.” https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/09/ruga-dont-taste-our-wrath-ohanaeze-youths-warns-miyetti-allah/ |
Nobody is screaming 'One Ethiopia !', unlike what obtains here. |
Why didn't govt declare python dance (or some other animal dance) on their head since they know their hideout? Yet they were super quick to dismantle IPOB and term them 'terrorists' while the actual terrorists that kill people in thousands are treated with kid gloves. This administration's double standards is epic. |
Nzuko Umunna, the Igbo think tank organization, has condemned the invasion of the Abuja residence of Governor Dave Umahi, Chairman of South East Governors’ Forum (SEGF) and Ebonyi State Governor. Umahi residence was invaded by herdsmen in the early hours of Monday, September 02, 2019. In a statement signed by Joe Odumuko Co-ordinator, and Obinna Mbanefo General Secretary of the group, Nzuko Umunna asked President Muhammadu Buhari to probe the invasion. The group added, “It is instructive that this cowardly act is coming barely 24 hours after the South East Governors Forum banned herders who move around with AK-47 and machetes, and directed security agencies to enforce the order. “We note that the invaders were clearly identified as security operatives who subjected occupants of the premises and police officers on duty to intolerable harassment and intimidation before thoroughly ransacking the premises. “It is noteworthy that this reckless and illegal act was carried out without a search warrant, again portraying Nigeria as a country that has little or no respect for the rule of law. “The inescapable conclusion to be drawn from the modus operandi of the operatives is that they had a singular mission to plant incriminating evidence in the property towards framing trumped-up charges against Governor Umahi. “The sole purpose of this dastardly and hideous plot is to intimidate, overawe and silence Governor Umahi and his colleagues at the South East Governors Forum and prevent them from discharging their mandate of speaking boldly on behalf of the South East people. “We are informed that there are plans to escalate these attacks in the coming days and weeks to other South East Governors and key leaders from the South East zone. ‘We urge the perpetrators of these heinous plots to desist forthwith to avoid throwing the country into a needless and overwhelming crisis. “We ask President Muhammadu Buhari to order a full scale enquiry into this curious invasion by security operatives with a view to ensuring that the perpetrators are speedily brought to justice. “We note that no amount of arm-twisting, trumped up charges or intimidation will make the South East zone shirk its resolve to ensure safety of lives and property in the zone, and urge the South East Governors Forum to remain resolute and unfazed. “For the avoidance of doubt, we support in entirety the resolutions reached by the South East Governors Forum at its recent meeting, as these are consistent with the yearnings of the people of South East Zone. “We commend the forum for these courageous resolutions and urge it to put practical measures in place to actualize the resolutions.” https://dailypost.ng/2019/09/05/igbo-group-blows-hot-invasion-gov-umahis-residence/

This lowly miscreant again. Has he been released from detention? |
Hardship allowance? What nonsense. So you need allowance to buy newspaper? What allowance do those thieves give Nigerians? This is official looting. No wonder they give everything to get into the senate, even if it means blood. The senate offers enough return on investment. |
This people are shameless. |
Miscreants will exploit any opportunity. |
pickatyou:I think Buhari will comment on the matter when he is done picking his teeth.
|
This administration is dangerously clueless. |
But there's really no difference from when it is fully functional and when its collapsed. |
Salah is an overrated player struggling to live up to the hype. |
