They didn't walk alone last night. They walked away with the trophy. Impressively impressive. |
The long term goal is eventual annihilation of Christianity in Nigeria and to take back their grand father's 'land'. What they don't realise is that they had already failed with an epic failure even before they started. Islamization of Nigeria will NEVER happen. |
The Executive and members of the Pan Igbo Social-Cultural Organization, Ohaneze Ndigbo, Anambra state chapter, has called on the Federal government of Nigeria to stop forthwith policies that target and frustrate major Igbo industrialists like Air Peace boss, Barrister Allen Onyema, Chief Chukwumma Innocent, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, Clement Ibeto and host of others without further delayed. The state president, Chief Damian Okeke-Ogene, who gave the warning on behalf of the chapter yesterday, in a get-together party organized by it leadership, at his country home, Etti-Nanka in Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra state, also described the action of the federal government as a way of de-industrialised the eastern Nigeria. “These are patriotic and selfless industrialists who have projected the image of Nigeria on the global industrial map and are providing mass employment for Nigerian youths as well as adding to the Gross Domestic Product-GDP of the country. So why is the federal government harassing and intimidating them, he asked. He said the ongoing persecution of their sons in different quarters was caused by the politics of appeasement and sabotage by those who did not want Igbos voice to be heard in the affairs of Nigeria. “What Chief Chukwumma Innocent and Barrister Allen Onyema, particularly, has accomplished so far, no Indigenous industrialist in Nigeria has been able to do for the development of the country, he boosted. “If Innoson Motors were owned by other regional businessmen, no frustration, harassment and intimidation would have come up, he added. “We called on those involved directly or indirectly in the orchestrated campaign to frustrate our industrious sons to desist from their evil act before it is too late,” he concluded. He commends governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state for his commitment to the welfare of Ohaneze Ndigbo in Lagos. https://tribuneonlineng.com/stop-frustrating-air-peace-boss-innoson-others-ohaneze-warns-fg/

She should stick with Islam and not interfere with what does not concern her. Imagine if the reverse was the case. The Christian lady may be dead by now. |
How some people lie to themselves is amazing. You speak Igbo, dress Igbo, write Igbo yet claim you aren't Igbo. If that's the path you've chosen, its good. |
Peter 'Okwute' Obi. |

Nigerian controversial singer, Charly Boyhas lamented that the Igbo businessmen seem to be the most hated group in Nigeria. Speaking via a long epistle he sent out via his Instagram page, he used the case of Allen Onyema, the embattled owner of Air Peace, as a reference point. He wrote: We Are Biafrans. Nigeria Doesn’t Live in Me. CharlyBoy. Few years back , I watched a story on the Airpeace CEO, Allen Onyema as he was talking about his frustrations as a genuine business man who only wanted to provide service and make money. He was complaining about how the badly thought out economic policy of the government was frustrating his business. He exposed to the world how aircrafts sent for servicing were stranded because of the crunch on foreign currency. Currency which we all knew was being wheeled and dealed by the faceless and nameless cabals in government…… na god go punish una for us. He cried out to Nigerians, highlighting the millions of dollars lost because of some very senseless policies of government. After that day I became a big fan of air peace and I decided that I’ll patronize them every time I’m traveling their routes. This was why I hailed his patriotism and sacrifice when South Africans were killing our people like flies and our government was dining and feasting with our murderers. Even our shameless government wey no get national career no remember to do anything, I just dey wonder, na because dem be Omo Igbo’s? See as dem been wan slander em name. See as everything for Naija don turn into dirty politics. Hmmmmmm……. make we think am ooo In this country these days Igbo business Men no safe at all. They seem the most hated in the country. I just no dey understand. Is it a crime to come from the southeast and also be a successful businessman. Una see how dem been deal with Jim Nwobodo of Savannah Bank, how about Cletus Ibeto of Ibeto Cement, una go still remember Innocent Chukwuma of Innoson Motors and now it is Allen Onyema of Air Peace. Weytin dey play for this nyamanyama country sef? Everybody now know and can see the reason why the Igbo’s want Biafra. Too much injustice in the land. People from southern Kaduna nko? Ijaw people nko? Igbo’s usually excel because they work hard and no matter the oppression they always rise to the challenge. You can’t stop the river from flowing. You can tackle them all you want but they will forever keep on Trucking. https://www.informationng.com/2019/12/igbo-businessmen-seem-to-be-the-most-hated-in-nigeria-charley-boy.html

The obsession with anything Igbo has reached alarming levels. |
Such epistle for a simple joke. |
Surprised it is coming from the OP, but the epistle reflects the reality on ground. |
This girl should put an end to her foolishness before it puts an end to her. |
Seems this girl has some serious emotional issues. |
The Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has accused the Federal Government of Nigeria of being behind the plan to probe Air Peace Chief Executive, Allen Onyema by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). MASSOB also said the probe was not only a witch-hunt against the Air Peace boss, but a persecution against the Igbo race. Leader of the movement, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike told journalists on Tuesday, while reacting to plan by EFCC to open a probe against Onyema, and the recent call by President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Assistant on Social Media, Loretta Onochie asking Onyema to face his charges in the USA. Uwazuruike said that Onochie spoke the mind of the presidency, but warned that Igbos will rise against any plan to humiliate Onyema. “There are lots of prominent people in this country whom the civil society organisations have even petitioned the EFCC against over alleged money laundering and the commission has not probed them” he said. Uwazuruike, who is also the leader of the Biafran Independent Movement (BIM), alleged that the probe was masterminded by federal government, but added that it will be heavily resisted by Igbos. It would be recalled that the EFCC last Saturday set of a special panel to probe the allegation of $44.9 million wire fraud and money laundering against Onyema. But Uwazuruike insisted that the allegation of fraud against the Air Peace boss was a calculated attempt to continue the alleged persecution of the Igbo race. He said “I am an Igbo and it is my responsibility to defend Igbos which Onyema is one of them and I tell you that I have all is takes to resist FG from persecuting my people. “We have been pushed to the wall by the federal government and Onyema’s case will prove a point, so he should not be intimidated and must remain firm”, he said. https://thenationonlineng.net/massob-fg-behind-plan-to-probe-air-peace-boss/ |
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has alleged that the late nationalist, Nnamdi Azikwe started the problems Igbo people are currently suffering in Nigeria. Kanu made the claim while faulting claims that Azikiwe was one the greatest Igbos of his generation. The IPOB leader recalled that Azikiwe once appealed to the French government to stop sending aides to Biafra because they were “rebels.” A statement by IPOB spokesperson, Emma Powerful yesterday quoted Kanu as saying: “Many have been led to believe that, Zik was in fact, one of the greatest Igbos of his generation but in reality, he was the problem that, Igbos still suffer today in Nigeria. “Just few days ago, it was discovered that Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe (Zik) appealed to the French Government to stop sending aid to Biafra referring to our people as rebels. The same Zik while speaking to the press in London during the war and rebelled Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu as a petty tyrant. “Isn’t it ironic that, in spite of everything Zik did to sabotage our people’s struggle for freedom that, Governor Willy Obiano would declare a public holiday in Anambra State as to celebrate Zik’s birthday and thereby mocking the memories of those that, died during the genocide of 1967-70? “The problem we have in Biafraland is that, the younger generation of our people who lack the true knowledge of history still refers to Zik as some human god whereas in reality, Zik was inspired by personal ambition according to Professor Chinue Achebe, in his book titled “THE TROUBLE WITH NIGERIA”. “This is the mistake we are making with this current generation of governors, Ohaneze and Abuja based politicians. We never learn from history. “Our people especially, the younger generation must stop patronizing the lies and propaganda regularly published on the pages of newspapers in a desperate attempt to keep Nigeria one at all cost and begin to carryout personal research as to independently discover the events that, occurred in the past.” https://dailypost.ng/2019/11/26/biafra-nnamdi-azikiwe-once-called-igbo-rebels-started-problems-we-are-suffering-nnamdi-kanu/
