Travel / Re: Does It Make Sense To Remain In Nigeria by MasterofNL: 12:10am On Feb 12, 2022
LegalWolf:

See, brother let me give you a heart to heart conversation.

At present, I’m currently in University of St. Andrews in UK. Before I left the country last year, my salary was in excess of 400k net. Mind you, I’m just 27 and unmarried.

Why did I tell you all these stories: abroad is an uncertain enterprise. I may have strong academic record but I am a lawyer. It is extremely competitive here. Even if you’re in tech, there are thousands of Indians and other immigrants flocking into Europe every single year. It is way more competitive than people make it seem.

You’re not guaranteed of success here. Earning 9 - 10£ per hour may seem big when you convert it to Naira but it is not. When other expenses eat into your income, you may not be left with so many things after everything. Services are so ridiculously expensive here. And combining school with work during winter is hell. Real hell.

But should that stop you from coming over. I don’t think it should. The quality of life you will have here is top notch. You may meet amazing people and the masters you get here would definitely boost your chances of getting a job either here or back home.

All I just have to advise you is that you shouldn’t be slave to abroad. It’s not everyone abroad that will be more successful than those in Nigeria. Some in Nigeria will make more money and become more successful than some of us. Don’t run out of the country just because others are doing it and out of frustration. I hope this helps

This is the best comment on this thread so far. OP, listen to this.

How this Igbo people sleep and wake up with stupidity everyday is so mind boggling. They have myriads of problems facing them yet all they do is to open senseless threads on a daily basis about others, then they turn around to scream "they hate Igbo" 'your hatred for Igbo". Smelly irritants you are!

Ikwerre people don't have your time and never will. Go and do your Biafra or alaigbo or whatever republic and entrench your criminal enterprise Ikwerre is not interested. Ikwerre is not Igbo.

Even in the Universities all over the world, when students have any programme, they seek for sponsorship and support. But we know that your Biafra republic will rather build cocaine factories rather than universities. What a life!

Now compare Ikwerre youths that you are projecting with the Igbo youths below and spot the difference....

Go and kill yourself cursed animal.

Ikwerre is not Igbo.

Ntor!

Ikwerre can get lost, they're not Igbo and we don't and will never need them.

There’s no need for this rationalization and sophistry because it will never work.

Just a gentle reminder that as a community or people they are nowhere at par with any southeast community. Nowhere at all.

That's why we should completely allow these so-called Niger Delta people be. I completely agree with Pazienza on this issue. These people continue to insult the great Igbo Nation because IPOB continues to make them feel important and embarrassing us.

Sometimes, I think the "We SS" people are cursed.

Don't mind the evil idiots looking for silly excuses to continue to promote their injustice.

Were the yorubas denied presidency when they agitated violently with their Odua people's Congress in 1999?

Were the fulanis denied presidency in 2015 when they formed Boko haram, ISWAP, fulani herdsmen terrorists killing people everywhere.

2023 will determine how you want you want your 'One nigeria'. If you wont do the right thing for justice and equity sake, then starve your almajiris and buy more ammunitions because you'll need it in your foolish quest to keep nigeria one with will the injustices therein.

After wasting all that money, your nigeria will still capitulate by the Grace of God because of your wickedness.

God bless you.

Duck and goose are in a league of their own. Use the stock for your stews and jollof rice and you won’t know what’s hit your tastebuds.

If duck is that tasty how come people are not crazy about duck meat like they are for chicken and turkey?

It's time for an Nigerian president of Igbo extraction.

There should be equity and fairness.

Yoruba have ruled for 8 solid years under Obasanjo and have produced VP for another 8 solid years and now screaming Osibanjo?

This is wickedness. There's no other way to describe it.

WTF is this.

I always say a tried rapist who was found guild should be killed and I will not change my stand on that.

Gosh if u guys visit the western countries and see the way the ladies dress and nude beach
Would u be raping ladies up and down

I guess no because you know they have strict laws

The moment like 5 rapists are executed public, the other will respect themselves..

We need strict laws in this country without human feelings

I agree on this one. Let's shoot them publicly

So far, I'm good.

Why do you want to steal our lands?

You took parts of Imo state and forced them into your Niger Delta and you're saying we are not ready?

I honestly support igbos seceding. Let them go so that they can have peace and they rest of nigeria can have peace.

Pls no Igbo should count us in niger delta as part of their rubbish Biafra. Thanks

Igbos are not interested in dragging your Niger Delta into Biafra. We will only take back Igbo lands that were carved out from Imo state and forced into Rivers state. We will also take our people in Delta state.

I have attached evidence here.

The rest of you "We SS" can enjoy your Niger Delta.
